Easy Platform and Great Customer Service

Clear health has been extremely easy to use and very responsive when I had questions! I am very happy with my choice to work with them for my acne treatment! They are involved and truly care about their patients.

Took 10 years to finally get clear skin…. Hello clear health helped me get there.

From the get-go, hello clear Health made everything transparent and gave me all the information I needed! Everything can be found on the website regarding things to consider, possible side effects, and how the process will go. And the fact that the Dermatologist’s appointments are on time every month is perfect so that I can ask my questions.

All in all, this has been a better experience than all of my Dermatologist appointments in real life!

Low-dose Accutane has changed my skin and I highly recommend you think about it and try it out!

Absolutely do NOT recommend using clear…

Absolutely do NOT recommend using clear health. It takes 6 months to achieve the recommended dose but it was so incredibly difficult for them to contact my provider or review any test results within the strict 7 day window they give you to pick up that I’m not even kidding EVERY single time I was taking multiple pregnancy tests (which aren’t cheap) just to pick up my medication. It took me almost a full year to make it to 5 months only for them to suddenly cancel and tell me I couldn’t continue for an issue I had at the start of treatment that never changed while I was on the treatment. I had the WORST experience with them and do not recommend giving them a penny. It is not worth the headache or pain that comes with it.

We’re sorry to hear that your treatment journey felt frustrating. Isotretinoin treatment, especially when provided via telehealth, is governed by very strict federal safety and iPledge requirements. These rules exist to protect patient health and cannot be bypassed or modified, even when the process feels inconvenient.

Throughout treatment, timely communication, accurate documentation, and completed lab requirements are essential to ensuring medication can be safely prescribed and dispensed within the required windows. When those elements cannot be met consistently, or when there are unresolved clinical concerns, it may be necessary to pause or discontinue care in the interest of patient safety. These decisions are never taken lightly.

While telehealth works well for many patients, it is not the best fit for everyone — particularly in cases where closer monitoring or in-person evaluation may be more appropriate. In those situations, we believe the most responsible recommendation is to continue care with a local, in-person dermatologist who can provide hands-on support.

We do appreciate that you were able to complete a significant portion of your treatment, and we wish you the very best moving forward. Patient safety and regulatory compliance remain our top priorities, and we remain committed to delivering responsible, ethical care to those who choose our platform.

Such a great overall experience

Such a great overall experience! From the beginning, customer service was amazing and very responsive to any questions. The accutane guidelines are very intense and Clear Health was able to follow the guidelines and make it as easy and convenient as possible. I had amazing results with the accutane and would highly recommend them to anyone with severe acne! My only regret is not starting the process sooner!!!

Super convenient

Absolutely the best & easiest way to do accutane. So convenient to do the monthly progress checks from home. Saves so much wasted time at the dermatology office. 10/10 recommend.

As an accutane "veteran," I found this…

As an accutane "veteran," I found this a really convenient way to get the medication and care that I needed - without having to jump through hoops and spend hundreds at dermatology offices (believe me, I've done it). Even though this care is remote, they take your health very seriously, and make sure the whole experience is very safe for you. I'm about 9 months in and I love it, and I'm so grateful it exists. I haven't had to utilize the call feature since I'm pretty experienced and have been through this process before, so I can't speak to that, but the instructions in my account are very clear and hepful.

You can get the accutane prescription you are looking for but support when issues arise is limited. You get generic answers back.

Clear health saved my skin!

Honestly clear health has been very informative, attentive, and even helped and reassured .e when my package got lost through the mail. Their products are super effective and have saved my skin so so so much. I had terrible cysts for 4 years before coming to clear health, and they were a life saver!!! I thought i would never have good health skin. I thought id never be able to touch my skin again! Thank you clear health!

Poor Service

Accutane works, price is reasonable but you also have to pay a monthly "consolation fee" of $60 or more. $150/month at the start, $200/month once your dosage goes up.

The biggest issue I have is that the service is bad. I've been trying to schedule a call with my dermatologist but they just seem to forget to call me. Every single time they just ask me "what times works best" despite me telling them a hundred times that I'm free every day after so and so time. I'm almost out of this months prescription and they just don't care at all. I received a call by them a couple days ago much earlier than the time I said to call me at and no one even answered me on the other end.

We’d like to clarify a few points for both you and others considering our service. Accutane requires monthly follow-up evaluations in order to remain compliant with FDA regulations. The monthly evaluation fee reflects this required medical oversight and is comparable to what many in-person dermatology practices charge as a specialist visit or copay.

Regarding pricing, the higher monthly totals referenced include the optional choice to fill medication through our partner pharmacy. This is never mandatory. All patients are welcome to use a local pharmacy, along with insurance coverage or GoodRx, which can significantly reduce medication costs depending on individual circumstances.

We’re very sorry to hear about the frustration surrounding communication. That’s not the experience we aim to provide. In addition to phone calls, patients can always reach us via text or email, and they also have the ability to message their dermatologist and medical assistant directly to coordinate a time that works best. We’re actively working to improve scheduling consistency so that calls happen within the agreed-upon time frames.
