One of the worst after-sale service

Over a month before I received my order, a pair of red glitteraty shoes, which was defective. Both shoes came with a visible cracking in the paint where the upper part of the shoe meets the sole. Of course I immediately sent Hella the first email, where I explained them the flaw of the shoes and attached them the relative photos. After numerous emails, 40 days and many photos and videos where the defect is obvious, they still insist that this is just glue and it can be removed with aceton. This is an unacceptable response when the defect is obvious and especially from a brand with such a prestige... It was the first and totally the last time I bought from Hella Heels!

We’d like to provide a little more context around the process we’re following. During manufacturing, a small amount of glue residue can occasionally remain, as sufficient adhesive is required to ensure the shoe’s structural integrity to withstand the demands of pole dancing. While this can be visible, it’s considered a minor cosmetic issue and is typically easy to remove, which is why it’s treated differently from structural defects or permanent aesthetic faults.

We completely understand your concern that this may not be glue residue, and that’s a valid point. However, as we’re only able to assess the shoes remotely via photos and videos, we do need the suggested removal step to be tried before we can move forward. This helps us determine the most appropriate resolution and is part of our standard procedure.

If you don’t have acetone nail polish remover available, you could also gently test one of the loose areas to see whether it lifts or peels.

Once we’ve heard back from you with the outcome, we’ll be able to proceed with the most appropriate resolution.

We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we work through this with you.

Only Shop I Buy Pole Shoes From - Love this store!!!

I have purchased and returned clothes and shoes from this company and have always had the sweetest customer service experiences. My most recent interactions were with Daphne and Elizah; they did an incredible job resolving my problems via email in a professional, quick and fair manner. I'm obsessed with this store! The fashion is to die for and I love that my purchases get delivered at lighting speed and consistently tracked so that I always know when my package will be delivered. The clothes and shoes are also of the highest quality. I think this shop has the best returns and exchange process... Add a small fee to return/exchange at no additional cost and the returns portal is very easy to navigate. Returns and exchanges are a piece of cake, never have had any issues with them, love em!

Amazing customer service

I accidentally ordered the wrong shoe size, but luckily Hella’s customer service was amazing! I was a bit nervous since I’m ordering from outside the U.K., but right from the first message, they made me feel totally supported - and they really came through. So kind and helpful throughout the whole process. I’ll definitely be ordering again! :)

Customer Service is Questionable

No complaints about the products, but customer service. In the last year they have gotten my orders wrong 3 times. I ordered the gunmetal stilettos but they shipped the silver ones instead, when I messaged them about it they said it was the right product and that the lighting was just wrong, I had to point out that the bar codes on the invoice versus the shoebox was very different to convince them that I actually knew what I ordered; they only offered a partial refund if I kept the product and I had to pay for shipping if I wanted to return it. 2 and 3rd issue was that they don't actually look at the quantity you order, I bulk ordered shoe protectors but each time I only received one, it seems like they don't read the quantity part of the invoice. It's kind of getting tiresome having to deal with the same issues for each order.

Excellent quality and customer service

Excellent quality products as well as customer service. When my package was damaged during the shipping process, one of my items fell out and was lost. I contacted HellaHeels customer service and Daphnie dealt with the missing item so fast! I received the missing item today and I couldn't be happier with the attention I recieved. Horrible service ordered for the black…

Horrible service ordered for the black Friday sale order a 9 inch thigh high thick fit heels got some 8 inch regular size heels definitely not what I ordered I had to pay 90 dollars in custom fees and they refuse to return it as well as the 50 dollars delivery fee to Canada I had to pay which shouldn't be my issue that they sent the wrong item
Will never order from hella heels again this is the first and last time

The shoes are sturdy, reliable, and made for dancing, with designs that are absolutely stunning. Any time I’ve needed customer service, they’ve been incredibly helpful and quick to resolve anything. I had a very frustrating experience…

***UPDATE

This company cancelled my order and is now trying to blame PayPal for why I haven’t received my refund. The truth is they never even sent me a proper refund confirmation email. I contacted PayPal myself, and they confirmed the company has not issued any refund at all. So the delay is not PayPal it’s the company refusing to process the refund. Really unprofessional experience

I had a very frustrating experience with this company. I placed an order using my own card, under my own name, and they cancelled it claiming it was “fraudulent.” Fine mistakes happen. But after cancelling my order, they have not returned my money.

They took payment, cancelled the order themselves, and have not issued the refund they are legally required to provide. I’ve contacted them and still haven’t received a clear answer or my refund.

It’s extremely disappointing, and customers deserve better. If a company cancels an order, they should refund the customer immediately not hold onto the money. I would never order from hella heels again

Love the shoes , great customer service

I have a handful of different pairs of shoes from hella and I love them. They personally fit me so much better than pleasers and I find them more comfortable! I especially love the glitterati’s , I have them in so many colors! Their customer service is also incredible. I had an issue with a defect on a pair of shoes and they replaced them quickly !

Customer service at its best!

Hella heels got with me about my order on the weekend previous. they said they had an issue within the shipping dept, and my order had not been shipped. They kept me informed with emails at regular intervals and even refunded my shipping costs for the inconvenience. What can you say to that but, Great. I have ordered from them many times before without issue and return with them a simple. The heels they make are of awesome quality because they are made to dance in, in what would be far beyond my skill level. But, hey I look they part and feel the part. Now to dance the part will take some time but, I know these heels are a quality investment for the long term. Even in there Nine-inch boots I feel confident enough to walk anywhere I please.

Hella Heels addict

I’ve purchased 7 boots and 1 pair of stilettos and I’m addicted. Good quality, arrive immaculately packed, product always as described and usually within a week. A massive fan, great for pole dancing. Their customer service is very responsive as well.

top notch customer service

customer service has been nothing but top notch, including dealing with tariffs, defects on boots and feedback from customers. I am from Canada and they were nothing but flexible with my fox box, I also recently got a new style of the over knee boots and LOVE all the changes they made and can tell they listen to their customers from all the little changes they made in the from the cut in the knee going lower, the zipper going higher (hello no longer having to unlaces my boots further when taking off), the wider tongue on the boot for more coverage and the thicker built and knee pads. I noticed and truly appreciate❤️

I have many boots from Hellas and have dealt with all three of their stores, as well as dealt them for defective products and have no complaints the quality of their products and customers services is incredible.

Poor customer service on quality issues

I ordered a pair of boots from Hella Heels over a month ago, and they’ve been completely unusable ever since. The laces broke after one wear—totally unacceptable for a $155 product that’s supposed to stand up to real-world performance. I'm a beginner pole dancer they were on once. No crazy tricks and I shot some photos. Nothing that should have ripped a lace on a boot

Customer service told me they’d send replacements, but the first shipment never even went out. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get them to ship the laces a second time—these are $6.50 laces, but I had to jump through endless hoops, sending photos and order numbers, just to get them to fix it. The laces would not match the color of the boots additionally

What’s even more frustrating is that Hella Heels markets itself as a brand that supports sex workers and performers—some of the most marginalized people in our economy. Many of us don’t have traditional banking relationships or financial protections; we’re paying with PayPal or other services that don’t always offer the same consumer protections as credit cards. It feels like Hella Heels is capitalizing on that vulnerability—counting on the fact that some of their customers may not be able to dispute charges or demand refunds the way I can.

I also can’t help but notice that they’re not selling on Amazon—where strict return policies would force them to provide real accountability. Instead, they’re relying on direct sales, which leave their customers at their mercy when something goes wrong.

The 10% refund they offered doesn’t even begin to make up for the month I’ve been left without a usable product. I’ve asked for a 50% refund to reflect the delay, inconvenience, and lost use, but so far they haven’t agreed.

I wanted to support a small business that claimed to understand the communities it markets to—but this experience has been nothing but frustration and dismissal. If they ever fix this and actually take responsibility, I’d be happy to update my review. But until then, I can’t recommend Hella Heels to anyone who expects real customer care or respect.

Really want them? Grab on eBay or Depop and skip the crap from their snotty customer service team
