HotSplash35 - Excellent
Purchased a HotSplash35 early this year ready for what has turned out to be a record hot summer. The unit is small, quite and extremely effective, consuming very little power to get the pool up to 30+ degrees by mid-afternoon, just when we want to use it.
Highly recommended.

Great, easy to connect
I built a small concrete pad outside my small pump house to put the heat pump on and used the flexible hoses to connect - very easy but I didn’t want the flexible hoses to be the whole 1.5m so I cut them - then used a heat gun to make the hose flexible to connect to an ABS barb solvent welded into the existing pipes inside the pump house. I had to use a normal plug as the timer to switch on the circulating pump was before the heat pump plug. I have a suitable RCD in the supply to the whole garden. I used a live wire from the circulating pump plug to control a solid state relay ( rated at 20amps) which then switched power to the heat pump. It probably would have been fine to have the power for the circulating pump and the heat pump from the same plug - but I wanted to be sure that the combination would not blow a fuse. After all that it works brilliantly. The only thing is that when the solar cover is on the pool and I want to circulate the water in the pool for say 15 mins then the heat pump starts to heat as the initial water to go through the heat pimp is within the pipes and cooler than the pool water.

Customer service was great to begin…
Customer service was great to begin with. The heat pump arrived very efficiently. The additional parts ordered however were considerably delayed. This was a somehow my fault according to the person who answered the phone and proceeded to try to charge me again for delivery. Would have been 5 stars had it not been for this.
