Absolute trash. Don’t waste your money. The color is awful- looks like it’s from a gumball machine and good luck returning anything if you used any of their deals. Also the one pair of earrings I got aren’t at all what I ordered- look like a cheap/fake dupe of what was in the picture and they wouldn’t replace them. Spent 144$ with two of them being free. Stupid price for what I got. Customer service was snooty and unhelpful. For the money I paid, it all was a grand disappointment. Wasted time and money. Would rather purchase pure gold and more slowly build my collection.

Horrible service, horrible communication, horrible experience

The service was great. Got my ring within a few days. Quality of ring is great.

If I could give negative stars I would. I accidentally placed an order on their site on a Saturday through Shop instead of clicking apply discount. I emailed them within a minute to cancel and got an automated message that their business house are M-F. I followed up on Monday and they told me they can’t cancel orders because they are custom made and apparently was already made although they were closed when the order went through. We went back and forth where they threatened to send me to collections and pursue legal action if I dispute the charge. Their reps are all rude, belligerent and on a disgusting power trip. Their cancellation policy is vague and all the terms they hold against you aren’t clearly disclosed on the product page or even in the returns/exchanges page. They are in fact BURIED in their terms and conditions. On top of it all, the product is low grade china quality.

I got a couple beautiful pieces of jewelry. They also helped issue an exchange when I got a size too small. I definitely recommend!

My ring showed discoloration shortly after receiving it under normal use.

When I contacted customer service, my concern was dismissed and my experience was questioned, with the company insisting it was “not possible” instead of properly addressing the issue.

The tone of the communication felt dismissive and unprofessional, focusing more on disputing my credibility than on resolving a customer concern.

They offered me a solution after questioning my account and coercing me to delete this review, but I told them no. I have all the emails as proof.

I am sharing this so other buyers are aware of how issues may be handled.

Update: After only a few days, I gently cleaned the ring with a cloth designed for gold jewelry, and the color came off, revealing a silver tone underneath.

This confirms that the issue was not normal wear, but poor quality or plating wearing off almost immediately.

This further supports my original concern and reinforces my disappointment with both the product and how my complaint was handled.

Diamond baguette ring was great quality and anti tarnish gold. Would highly recommend this merchant! Gave ring as gift and niece loved it!

I bought a ring from Heart Made of Gold after carefully reviewing the return policy, which said returns are accepted. The rings came late, were a bit small (I have a ring sizer and measured) and the color was more orange than gold. So I requested a return.
I was then told no returns are accepted on sale items. Every single item in their shop is on sale. And the policy stating returns are accepted is stated clearly twice on the webpage.

The owner had my first review removed, saying I was not a customer. I have receipts. My review is not unlike the other one star reviews.

Edit: the owner has replied saying they have no record of my purchase. I have receipts and correspondence from the shop which I have forwarded to Trustpilot.

Love that I can get gold filled jewelry at a great price. Orders always come on a timely basis. I've gotten great gifts for friends and family. Gold filled jewelry is a great alternative since 14KT is so expensive.

Read some of the negative reviews recently, and can’t believe how naive and cheeky some people are with their comments.
It is industry practice that buying earrings is non refundable due to hygiene issues, so don’t blame a particular store because you don’t understand basic rules.
They have been in Brentwood for years so must have been doing many things right. Would definitely buy and recommend this store.

first order of earrings did not ship and when I emailed them they said due to high demand they were out of stock and to choose another item ( would not refund) the item I chose was cheap looking and the size a small child would wear. Never order from these people

How can anyone like this shop or products? Cheap looking items, lightweight in fake yellow color. Return policy is non existent…you can’t return if you purchased on sale or used their discount code. Earrings are non refundable at all. Don’t waste your money.

Be aware that if you use any promotional code or discount at checkout, items from Heart of Gold are not eligible for returns—only exchanges. Return shipping is also at the customer’s expense.

Fortunately, the items I ordered were intended for a 12-year-old, because the diameter of the earrings would not reasonably fit an adult.

Regardless of the material quality, the overall craftsmanship is poor. Even at a discounted price, the jewelry is subpar compared to similarly priced competitors.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this vendor. Save your time and money and look elsewhere

Complete garbage. I received a ring missing diamonds, so they replaced it. That ring began to tarnish immediately. I couldn't get a response and when I finally did they said I already used my warranty so too bad. What an awful company that claims to stand by their product.

I ordered three pairs of earrings without a promo code. One pair was incorrectly advertised, or deceitfully advertised.
No where did I see NO returns on earrings. They were still sealed in plastic bag and had not been opened much less tried on! AWFUL!! Will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!

I bought through Etsy and the quality was very good and nothing tarnished. My order was also shipped very fast
