Same thing happened to me firstly it was 95p then today £16.24, spoke through chat this morning and was told I should receive confirmation of cancellation within 24hrs, they wouldn't tell me when or if i would receive money. Totally shocking all the scams that are around, think they all had a pow wow throughout covid. Can't even blow your nose without being scamed. I hope Hawiyyah come good and refund my money

I regret ever using this Company. I didn't get any information about the person I was trying to find. I cancelled my subscription but $30.50 has been taken from my account twice. Both times I contacted customer service but nothing was done.
I have to cancel my card to avoid more debits. I should have read the reviews first. Be warned ! Beware!

Definitely a scam. I was told I would be billed £0.51 as a special offer and they then tried to take £15. Luckily my credit company identified it as a scam immediately and stopped the payment. Avoid at all costs.

Same happened to me this website scams you by recharging a higher amount.

This website is definitely a scam. I requested a house address using an email address and agreed to pay $1.61. They did not give me the information I requested and the following day made an unauthorised charge on my Visa Card for $32.53. I have emailed them requesting a refund of this unauthorised charge but have received no replu so far. Don't use this website!

Don't touch them even with someone else's bargepole. They tried to sign me up without any clue or indication whatsoever that the report I would be paying for was about the right subject I had named.

I am not accusing them of being outright scammers, but they are certainly chancers and the first cousins of scammers. The way the (non!) scam works is that the initial price is low, so you may not be too bothered about trying again if you haven't found the right person first time. But these people, who I am not accusing of being villains but who are sharper than razors, know full well that a percentage of people will simply fail to remember to cancel the long-term contract contained in the small print.

Absolute scam. Took money from credit card without authorisation fortunately credit card team blocked it and let me know. Tried best part of 3 days to obtain proof of cancellation. Shannen their customer service agent fobs you off and now ignores my messages..be warned! Something legally needs to be done with these fraudsters

I didn't care for the service I couldn't find any information I wanted, so I want to cancel

They will continue to take money from your account.... beware ...
1. I had one discounted transaction with this company and they have subsequently taken two full monthly subscriptions out of my account.
2. I attempted the 'cancel subscription' avenue, but unable to do this, as I do not have a current subscription with them.
3. Their 'live chat' isn't live; they do not respond to questions.

I was dubious going in & read all the small print. I knew it would take further payments but I had a free 24 trial. I have more information on the person I was hoping to locate but wasn't even asked for their middle name. It said it had the information, I supplied the details it requested, then it said it couldn't tell me bcs of a failed captcha. I hadn't been shown a captcha. Then my bank message to say they had stopped the payment. Now there's a block on my card.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. PRETTY SURE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE MADE UP OR AI GENERATED. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND MAKE UP EXCUSES AS TO WHY THEY HAVEN'T CANCELLED YOUR ACCOUNT YET.

Stay away from Hawiyyah People Search Service. It is a scam. I pay for a search and it told me report is available and will be email to me within 1 to 2 hours. I waited a day but no report. Then I chat with their agent Shannen and she said she will forward my request to their search team and report should be available within 24 hours. still no report, meanwhile they already charged my credit card for their "non-service"!

I subscribed for the free seven day trial.
I was charged for the entire month.
I then cancelled and unsubscribed.
Every single months for six months I am charged a fee.
I have to go online to their website.
I have to request a refund and I have to unsubscribe
This is really invasive.
How can this company improve? Stop illegally taking money from your customers

What a SCAM!!! total FRAUD!!!! And so cowardly. Taking money from me and other users and stealing it like you own it. I will never recommend you ever and like you actually got away with it. Good luck. Some day in the future you will get the bill charged along with the receipt for your bad action if you know what I mean.

Use this service and i get my target point.

Paid £0.77 for a search for my long lost sister in Australia. Instead it turned up a lot of addresses in the US. No use!!!
Received an email after this claiming I would be refunded £0.77. Then 2 days later I notice a further unauthorised transaction for £17.60. I have contacted Barclaycard.
Note all the "overly excellent" reviews on Trustpilot all in the last few days from persons with this the only review ever. These are almost certainly"FAKE"
