Great night at Falstaff...
We recently attended a night at Falstaff in Stratford. We were welcomed by hosts Sian and Tracey, who made us feel at ease from the start. We hadn't done anything like this before but entered with an open mind. The night was relaxed and informal which helped with the flow of it. Although there was no major bumps or bangs, there was definitely moments that made you sit up and take note, even for the sceptics. Would definitely recommend trying it and would book onto another for certain. Looking forward to it.

30 East Drive - House of Horrors
I was welcomed by Paul and Lysa from Haunted Houses who could see I was aprehensive (I have done Haunted Houses events before but not this place), What a pair they are a proper credit to your company. The group I was with I didnt know any of them but found we bonded really easily probably down to the hosts being great. The night started with activity from minute 1, things happening on the landing which I cannot for the life in me explain. Later in the night Lysa tried an experiment with us each which took me out of my comfort zone but I felt because I did it I achieved what I thought would be a fear I had for life.
After all the fun I decided to stay over and sleep there. Im not going to spoil anything but I was thinking that the activity was done for the night... how wrong I was and im still playing it all back now.
I wont lie it was the best night of my life (bucket list) but also the worst (way more activity than I expectes)... im.deffo coming back to seek more answers.
I have gone on about the hosts and the people. But having done a lot with your company I can say you guys are the best and I have a few more events booked up.
Please pass on my best to Paul and Lysa would love to bump into them again on an investigation.. credit to Haunted Houses.

Old Nick Theatre
Absolutely fantastic night with our brilliant hoast and my new bro Chris. It started off quiet, but once the activity started it was none stop to the point where I was a picture frame move, my mum was touched, my friend was slightly pushed and my husband had something blow in his face. Would recommend to others 100% as you never know what you're going to be in contact with. Chris, was spot on, not only did he ensure everything went smoothly and safely, but he made it fun and everyone had such a laugh. Can't wait for the next time we join you and I get to investigate with my bro again 😁

30 East Drive what a experience
Had an amazing time at 30 East Drive with our fabulous host Laura! She kept it fun and safe and her mixture of excitement and sheer terror at the REM Pod constantly going off and answering to our questions made the experience even more. We were told this is not Disneyland and that the spirits don’t perform on demand but we were not disappointed. We had temp drops, bangs, knocks, table tipping, glass spinning, doors opening, catballs going off, uneasy feelings and red hot heating even though we turned it off and all the radiators. My friend even walked away with a mini scratch on her face. Would highly recommend but you need to bring the energy. Thanks Haunted Houses we will be back

We visited the four crosses in. We had mixed feedback for the night. The booking process was easy and straight forward with good directions and arrival information. We found the hosts friendly however we were a bit thrown off with one of them stating she was a skeptic and not a big believer. And one of the hosts said she didn’t know how to use all the equipment which I didn’t find very professional. We were split into groups and taken to separate parts at the building which worked well as it didn’t feel to crowded. However more outgoing hosts would have been great here to kind of lead a bit more due to some guests being shy and quiet there was a lot of awkward silence moments that a host should have really helped the group through. There was ‘break’ periods throughout the night a lot of us would have preferred for these to be optional as it seems to waste a lot of time for the non smokers in the group and was a lot of waiting around. We had a good night with some good activity and nothing was staged or faked everything felt very authentic. There was an option to stay over at the venue which we didn’t do and chose a hotel up the road due to travelling back in the dark. I understand the venue is old and cold and this is advertised however there was a considerable amount of damp and mold over the property which wasn’t stated and if I hadn’t booked a hotel and turned up to stay here just expecting a very cold property not so much of mold and damp everywhere I wouldn’t have been impressed it’s not good for your chest. Would we rebook through this company…probably not it seemed like they weren’t 100% up to scratch with a few things that would put us off in the future.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave such a detailed review — and I’m genuinely sorry your night at The Four Crosses Inn felt mixed.
I’m pleased the booking process, directions and arrival information were clear, and that you felt the investigation itself was authentic and unstaged — that’s a big part of what we stand for. That said, I completely understand why the hosting points you’ve raised would knock your confidence in the evening.
To give a bit of context, we have 36 hosts across the company, with a mix of very experienced team members and newer hosts who are still finding their feet. The hosts on your night are quite new with us joining us a around four months ago, and have previously been buddied up with more experienced team members while they build confidence with pacing, group energy and equipment. On this particular event they ran solo, and like anyone new to a role, it can sometimes feel overwhelming — especially with quieter groups where the host needs to actively keep momentum and ease any awkward silences.
That isn’t an excuse, and it doesn’t change what you experienced — but it is something we can act on. We’re confident they’ll grow into real stars, and we’ll be reviewing how we support them (including mentoring, equipment confidence, and how breaks are managed so they don’t feel like dead time for non-smokers).
You also raised an important point about the damp/mould condition in parts of the building. Cold is expected in an old venue, but damp/mould is a different concern and can impact health. I personally was not aware of this and we have used this venue for almost ten years now, so might be a new development? i’ll be taking this up with the venue owner and also update how we communicate overnight conditions so guests can make a fully informed choice.

Me and my partner did our first Paranormal Event here on February 6th, 2026
From the moment you walked through the doors the team made you feel so welcome. After a quiet start, I think our small groups minds were official blown when we had the most amazing interaction via SMALL REM POD and CATBALLS any of us could of hoped for along with small wet footprints in an upstairs bathroom, a massive shout out to our HOST CERYS who looked after us all night and was there to answer any questions we might have she really was lovely, thankyou so much .... we had the most brilliant night and will definatley be using this company again .. can highly recommend.

I’m so glad you and your partner felt welcomed from the moment you arrived. Even when a night starts quietly, it can turn in a heartbeat — and it sounds like your group got exactly that, with the REM pod and cat balls going off and those eerie little wet footprints upstairs… properly mind-blowing stuff.
