Ordered 3 Italian leather sofas in August 2025 - still No delivery date as of 25.3.26! Very poor communication - been into the store every couple of weeks since December always promise to chase with supplier and get back to us but never do.
AVOID!!!!!
26.3.26 Just been informed re a mistake with a wrong code and there is no order in the system for our 3 sofa’s and the colour of leather we ordered has been discontinued! We have to choose again and wait another 24 weeks for delivery- why has it taken so long HN to tell us this when we have been into the store at least 12 times!

I didn't feel pressurised to make a purchase the assistant was very helpful & nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her.
We purchased a washing machine which the assistant took time to go through all the different programs & settings with us.This is the 2nd purchase i've made at Harvey Norman & both times i've been very inpressed with the customer service.

Knowledge of the sales person, very good . I never knew you could be measured for a pillow
I brought the pillow and since I have used it I have not had a stiff neck when I get up in the morning

I would give 0 stars if possible please avoid buying anything from this store. I bought an £900 oled monitor on the 28 February and have been having issues with it. So I took in into the store where they decided to take no care on how they treat other people's property. They decided it would be a good idea to have a member of staff hold onto the monitor for at least 20 minutes with his hands clenched on to the screen whilst he connected it to a pc in store because the stand wasn't used. This has resulted in scratches and pressure put against the bottom of the screen whilst they so called "tested" the screen. Then the monitor was eventually just placed half way on half way off a table whilst they continued to check for the fault which they clearly didn't understand what I was talking about. The store couldn't replicate the issue due to the issue not always being persistent. Store "Technicians" (Store manager ) didn't have a clue and was using Google to find out how to turn HDR on and gysnc on. In them finding no fault they decided to put the monitor back in the box and wrecking the package doing so and I know for a fact they did this because I made sure I put the monitor exactly how it was when I bought it. The cardboard that holds the monitor was ripped on both sides separating them in pieces. When on my way out the store I asked for an email to address my issues. Which I have then contacted and received a response with them explaining that the monitor wasn't mishandled by them and that it was placed on the table where it wasn't at risk of damage but then forgot to mention the fact a staff member was holding onto the monitor with his hands clenched onto the screen for 20 minutes why they checked for faults because the monitor wasn't on the stand. Then addressing in the email that there was marks on the screen and the staff had wiped them off yet when I took it out the box the hands prints where still on the screen and marks and scratches all over. And they took my monitor in the back room to put in back in the box out my view bit strange if you ask me. Please avoid at all costs they are taking no responsibility. They clearly don't know how delicate a oled screen is and why manufacturers are bringing out more and more screen scratch resistant monitors in the future to avoid scratches because of how easy they are to scratch. Store should be ashamed of them selfs how they treat their customers and other people's property I will be reporting to trading standards and contacting the consumer protection body. Be careful buying expensive items from business like this who have no care

Ordered a corner sofa and foot stool from harvey norman sofa was delivered but no foot stool came 2 weeks later I had to pick up inthe mean time there was a fault in a part of the sofa which they agreed to replace three months later and numerous calls later the piece was due to be delivered on the day the delivery team had wrong address and didn't wont to then deliver till next day I refused and they arrived an hour later one of the delivery drivers came moaning and rushing to get away damaged my bifold sill in front of me and then tried to deny it and then got very aggressive on reporting this i still haven't heard a word from the company although I was assured I would WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN .

I ordered a Hotpoint washer dryer online from Harvey Norman, upon receiving it, it was clear to see that this was not a new product and was used. Of course when purchasing a product that you are paying a couple hundred pounds for, it is expected to be brand new and saleable condition; however, this was not the case. The pipes that were provided to us released old dirty water when they were taken out of their packaging and there was water still inside the machine drum. I have tried to call the Merry Hill store and have been placed on hold for over 30 minutes and have been unable to speak to anyone. I have completed a contact form to which i was told id receive a response within 24 hours and I received no response at all. I then emailed the store and had one response within an hour and nothing for the past two days since. This is unacceptable, I would not recommend anyone to buy from here!

It was my first visit to Harvey Norman yesterday. It was worth the trip! It is a huge store with a vast selection of household items.
I was helped by Michelle, she was really knowledgeable and helped me choose a robotic Hoover and a few other items.
Garry helped me with the washing machine and dryer. Both were very knowledgeable and really pleasant to deal with.
I have become a bit lazy, shopping on line but it was beneficial to go and see and try the products . Plus the knowledgeable staff. Be assured the prices are just as competitive and no waiting for delivery on the smaller goods as it was all brought to the store from the warehouse for me.

Macey at the Merry Hill store has been fantastic and kindly arranged the storage of several kitchen appliances prior to completion of my new flat. She has constantly been in touch to check on when I need the goods delivered, I will definitely be buying more electrical appliances from Harvey Norman at Merry Hill. Really impressed.

Excellent shopping experience, a great range of air fryers set out in an attractive setting. Maya the sales adviser gave really I informative advice and guidance so that I could select the best purchase for my individual circumstances. Ordered some cordless vacuum cleaners online from your flagship store in Merry Hill , purchase was for my elderly parents and some of my other properties , order placed funds taken , happy customer ! ( read all terms and conditions at no point online does it state you cannot purchase more than 1 item alone ) Think again e-mail received refunded my order without any explanation whatsoever ? I called your customer support line to be placed through to TV department transferred to online orders after 18 minutes on hold to be cut off , at which this point my patience was wearing thin ! Called again some to Chris unable to give me his surname due to security reasons ? Gave him my order number asked why my order being refunded ? Basically manager stated bulk orders cannot be purchased online ! Why is that not stated anywhere ? So if I came into store can I purchase my order probably my not was the answer so if I want 7 packs of pillows for my house can I not purchase online as is a bulk order ? Or if item was it’s original £300 could I not buy it on line in bulk probably not Is this the case for all bulk purchases at Harvey Norman ? I was not even given an opportunity to buy 1 item ? Is this how your flag ship store operates ? Sadly I was looking into purchasing numerous other items in bulk from beds to furniture to electrical items which would be sadly this whole experience has put myself off and I have now reconsidered buying from your store full stop !

the store was excellent for its choice/good assistants we had who dealt with our furniture request namely Prescious B and Hassan on saturday am, We had the furniture delivered on monday am /again three excellent assistants did their assembly job in no time /cleared up in no tme. all very polite to the customer.
