Today I was charged for an order that…

Today I was charged for an order that was returned back in June I contacted Harper and they aren't interested in helping me So now I am trying to get Nobodys child to sort the issue with no luck so far I will never use Harper again

To clarify, the charge was triggered because the return has not yet been received or processed by Nobody’s Child. As the brand fulfils both the order and the return, charges are automatically applied if items are not marked as received from the brand.

Great experience with Anita

Great experience with Anita. She offered her advice and helped with suggestions of how to style the outfit. Was a really nice way to shop! Will definitely be using this service again.

Made a mistake but they worked hard to rectify it

My partner ordered some shoes from Paul Smith and decided to try out this Harper service, scheduling it for the weekend. He was honestly so excited about it and kept telling me about it for the coming week.

The day before they were scheduled to arrive, he got an email saying they were due to arrive so it seemed everything was on track.

Then Saturday came. Nothing came through. No shoes, no person at the door, no email, no text. Just complete silence. It was incredibly disappointing. He emailed them asking what had happened but we had to wait till after the weekend to hear from them for which he needed to call up to find out.

Apparently their system flagged up a fraud alert and now he has been completely banned from using it forever with no way to resolve it or prove his legitimacy.

Update: After raising this review, they contacted my partner and me to correct whatever had happened into their system, they didn't have all the shoes available but they did agree to honour the original sale price of the shoes that were available.

The actual Harper service itself was great, the lady brought over the shoes for my partner to try on and also gave some advice when she returned when my partner was unsure which ones to keep or not. Whilst we didn't end up using the service further, she also gave us the option of rebooking more Harper deliveries where the shoes weren't the right size which would be super convenient

Fantastic service from Anita

Fantastic service from Anita. She arrived in good time for our appointment, communicating exactly when she was arriving. I had 40 minutes to try the garments on in the comfort of home, and then she took the pieces I didn’t want away with her. Couldn’t be easier or more efficient.

A lovely service

What a great service, very well described and explained at each stage. Delivery was extremly quick. Returns information was clear.
I ended up with exactly the right purchase for me, with no to-ing or fro-ing required and of course only one payment transaction involved, and no waiting for or chasing up a refund. I will definitely use this service again and I hope more retailers sign up.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. not having to a) go shopping with the Christmas crowds, b) having any returns taken away by the concierge service, and c) only paying for what I actually keep is the most effortless way to shop. Highly recommend this service, and had a lovely lady (Stacey) bring me the items, so it was a pleasant interaction from start to finish!

I’m a fan of- two ways to try before you buy

What a joy to be able to try things on at home before having to pay for them. Invaluable. The courier service is great, staffed by delightful people who are friendly and helpful, and can offer advice only if you want them to. It’s worth paying the fee, especially if you are in a hurry for something or don’t trust your local delivery services. If you are more patient (or trusting) then Harper will organise having the items sent out by one of the usual delivery services and you have 5 days from delivery to decide and return before you are charged. Gives you longer to decide if you can’t make up your mind about something. Both really useful and helpful services - I’ve been using Harper for a few years now and I’m a fan!

Excellent idea

Excellent idea. Solves multiple sending and returns. My only slight quibble is and was for some many years the cost of postage and no free returns. The length of time too in refunding. If one returns a costly item the delay in refund at times is irksome.
