I had a great experience with HFS. I contacted them
Asking for some sample although I had purchased a floor already. George was really kind and helpful and sent me many samples to make sure I could have a sense of the consistency of th floor. I decided to buy there instead. The delivery was not free but the boxes were really well packed, all new and in perfect conditions. The boards look really nice. For the price point and I am very pleased with my purchase . A special thanks to George for his help and support

The Hardwood Floor Store staff have been so helpful even providing a finish that had been discontinued. Customer service staff have done their best to ensure our orders were met where possible

Samples didn't arrived

Ordered flooring with named day delivery for 9th March, with tradesmen starting 16th March. Changed work plans to ensure we were in for pallet delivery.

Had to chase on the Monday to confirm our delivery was coming today, to be told our order wasn't in stock. We now have to decide whether or not to take flooring we don't want to keep our date with our tradesmen, or wait a month for our ordered flooring to be in stock but face increased costs for cancelling our tradesmen so late.

Very, very poor to find this all out via us chasing. Whatever happens, we have to pay more money now or have flooring we don't want.

I would steer well clear of this company.

It was easy and simple ordering as they where helpful and had a variety of products to choose from they made the whole experience easy and simple stress free.

Our item was delivered quickly. We didn’t receive any delivery updates which meant we didn’t know when it was due to arrive but apart from that a good experience.

Ordered Ashton & Rose Brampton Herringbone and a year later the floor is in absolute shambles. We don’t wear shoes in the house and it’s chipped an everywhere, just moving the chair dents the floor. Waste of money the whole thing needs to be replaced!

I ordered some samples for herringbone flooring from various online providers. This company sent the samples quickly and immediately followed up with calls to check re the samples and to see if I wanted a quote. I am a shift worker and would miss calls but Connor would re attempt contact until we could discuss properly. We discussed a price and he was able to work out a price that suited my budget and to be honest made it so that any competitor wouldn’t come close in terms of price but not at the cost of quality. The flooring I selected is really good quality and worth the cost but even better that Connor was able to sort out a deal for me too. Delivery was fine- arrived on a small pallet to my drive as described in the delivery terms. Flooring quality was great and easy to fit, built in underlay was a bonus on this flooring. I had two packs left and as I live fairly local I popped them back to the show room where Connor met me and accepted the return and refunded me for those. Overall a really positive experience and it’s so refreshing to receive great service. Hats off to Connor, he grafts to secure the deals but that to me said he cared about the business and wanted to give customers the best deals. For that, I would use this company again for any future projects.

There’s no point of me paying for delivery and the driver not deliver to my door. So I rather book with somebody that will.

Ordered some samples from HFS and they followed up to see if there was anything they could help with. Great service, Sam in particular was very helpful and helped make the decision to go with flooring from them.
Flooring arrived promptly, delivered on a pallet exactly where it was needed, just need to get it laid now !
