As a Turkish woman living in London Cappadocia has been on my bucket list for years, I just never had the time or opportunity.
My friend had been on a trip with Soumaya of HTG before and booked herself onto the Cappadocia tour. Well, when I found out I literally forced myself onto the tour! I’m so glad I did because it was a trip like no other. Sharing it with my friend was extra special.
Soumaya and her little helper Salma were wonderful hosts, organising everything with precision.
The Aren Cave hotel, the balloon ride( you have to do it, it really is amazing and not scary!) the quad biking ( loved it at the end only because I was rubbish!) the amazing landscapes, fairy chimneys, caves were breathtaking. The local guide Hasan Abi was a local man who had grown up in the very caves he showed us, So knowledgable!
This trip also showed me that women of any age can travel solo and experience the wonders of the world without a man! Our group of ladies were friendly and fun. Friendships were definitely made.
Soumaya did all the research and checked out the hotels, restaurants, guides prior to the trip. You feel safe and cared for.

This was my very first solo trip. So it was so important that my expectations were met and basically have a safe and amazing experience. All I have to say from start to finish HTG did not let me down. From the onset Soumaya was at hand, any questions, and itinerary was provided, to ensure that trip is well planned and organised. Once we got there, the accommodation was stunning at Cappadocia, a cave hotel. Stunning views and a great bed and breakfast were provided. Our host Soumaya of HTG was always at hand and accompanied us with the excursions that were planned. Soumaya kept us up to date with any changes or protocols. From the balloon ride at sunrise to the horse ride through the rocky landscapes at sunset what a great start to the first day. Then it just got better, visiting parks, view points, caves everything had its unique beauty and story. Just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Soumya and Halal Travel Guide for making my first solo trip a memorable one. I will hopefully see you next year....watch this space! Ps I took my mum with me, almost 70 and she loved it too!

My 1st trip with HTG and it was amazing!
Travelling with HTG I felt safe and found like minded travellers that enriched the experience.

The itinerary was well planned with lots of things for us to do and see. I was not aware of all the Islamic history in Uzbekistan and this was an eye opener for me. I also liked that we got to take part in pottery and calligraphy masterclass and plov making.

Loved the country, the hospitality and hope to visit again soon inshaAllah.

We visited Bosnia with Halal Travel Guide. It was an incredible experience, the local guides they chose were extremely knowledgeable and gave us an experience we couldn't have had ourselves. You can tell they have put a lot of research and care in to their tours to ensure they are perfect, I look forward to travelling again with them in the future.

Amazing trip alhumdulilah! Learnt so much on my recent trip to Bosnia, a full on and well managed itinerary. Sami was an amazing host full of energy and Emir was also an excellant and passionate tour guide letting us know the history of Bosnia. Really recommend if you want to experience it and also learn a lot about yourself when travelling with a group

I attended the Bosnia Retreat as my first HTG trip and it was one of the best trips I have experienced. Soumaya is caring and attentive of guests and takes feedback on board. She created a fantastic and broad-ranging itinerary where there was something for everyone whilst also being flexible and ensuring the group visited the sites they wanted to. If any issues emerged, Soumaya would immediately look to rectify them and make sure everyone was happy and well-looked after.

She created a very welcoming atmosphere where all guests bonded and felt comfortable with one another very quickly. This is a unique travel company who can cater to different needs, especially for Muslims and solo travellers looking to learn more about different cultures, immersing with locals and making new friends. I recently went to Bosnia with HTG on a woman's only retreat and as it was my first solo trip i was a bit anxious about what the whole experience would hold but i had nothing to worry about as I was made to feel absolutely welcomed and part of the group. Was able to make amazing memories, shared lots of laughs, met wonderful people and truly had a great adventure on this holiday.
HTG provided us with not only great accommodation, stunning food, amazing guides, easy transports, beautiful locations to explore and education on the history of the country. But also the opportunity to make true long lasting friendships along the way.
I was truly lucky to share this trip with absolutely wonderful sisters who became family by the end.

Cappadocia is a lovely place with beautiful landscapes and lots of fun activities to take part in. The HTG ensured our stay included as many experiences as possible, from hot air ballooning to horse riding and walks in the valleys. Our trip supported the local business community and it was lovely interacting with the locals to learn more about the area and it’s fascinating history.

Soumaya's hardwork, and planning is quite evident when you see the carefully chosen hotels, and the rich in history itineraries she chooses.

I, truly, was able to sit back and relax and let everything be taken care of. As a meticulous planner, this is extremely hard for me to do normally, but I feel I could not have done it better myself.

I had reservations about booking holiday with anyone given the new experience, but upon finding HTG this was countered by reassurances throughout the booking process by the host Soumaya, who was very considerate and addressed all concerns and helped with booking the flights.

The trip itself exceeded all expectations, the itineraries carefully planned, there was never a moment of feeling bored as we managed to do a lot in a short space of time, I don’t think I would have managed to do as much if I was to plan it all. I cannot believe going on a hot air balloon was on my bucket list and I got to experience it in the most amazing place known for the ride with spectacular views at sunrise. I’m so glad I chose to do this and with HTG where i met like minded people and a warm host and had such a good time.

I will definitely be booking again with HTG, highly recommend this company you won’t regret it.

HalalTravelGuide never fails to impress me!

I recently came back from the Ladies Retreat trip in Cappadocia a couple of days ago. This is now my third trip with HalalTravelGuide and it most certainly won’t be my last. This trip was amazing and well thought of. For quite some time I have been wanting to go on a hot air balloon ride and HTG made this happen and it was probably the most surreal experience of my life. The main host Soumaya attended the trip with us and she ensured we were all looked after and was always there if we had any additional questions.

The reason as to why I keep booking my trips with this amazing travel guide company is because the itinerary is well thought of and they ensure that you don’t miss anything to see whilst you’re abroad. They pick the best guides to take you around the places that you’re visiting.

Now I am sitting here thinking of which HTG I would like to go on next.

I had such a wonderful time in Cappadocia and will treasure my memories from this trip for a very long time. This was my first ever trip abroad and I'm grateful that I was able to join a group of lovely Muslimahs on the adventure. Soumaya was an amazing host who would go above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after and content. I felt constantly reassured, and despite this initially being a nerve-wracking endeavour for me, Soumaya would boost my confidence and make me feel at ease. The itinerary was full of a variety of activities with the group that heavily focussed on the culture and history of Cappadocia, but we were also given the evenings to wind down or explore the area ourselves. I've crossed out things from a bucket list before i even finished writing one! I feel honoured to have been a part of this unforgettable trip and hope to travel with HTG again.

I've just had my second experience with Halal Travel Guide and it was totally epic! I love the way Soumaya takes care of everything from pairing roommates up who don't snore to making sure we are all well fed, meaning I can just turn up and switch my brain off and have a real holiday!
We just went to Cappadocia and I'm still savouring the experience. I had so much fun running around in caves, flying around in a hot air balloon and riding a horse. The scenery is just spectacular - Soumaya has good taste in choosing destinations and taking us off the beaten track!
On both trips I have taken there have been zero issues with my allergens and I have a few!
I love the vibe of the groups I've travelled with and have made life long friends but it feels like more than just friendship, it's more like family ❤

I recently went to Turkey (Cappadocia) with HTG and loved every minute of the trip. It was really well thought out and planned. From the moment we arrived at the airport there was already someone waiting for us to get us to the hotel safely. Soumaya was excellent as a host. And she had her little assistant ( her daughter) who started very entertaining dinner talks 🤣. There was a hot air balloon experience that was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this. I recently did my first trip with HTG (Turkey, Cappadocia) and Soumaya was our host. As a new traveller i wanted to go with a reputable company that catered to my needs as a Muslim woman and found HTG. Upon first contact with Soumaya she was super responsive and answered all the questions we had. Soumaya even made recommendations about which flights to catch to avoid self-transfer (of luggage from main flight to domestic transfer).

Once in Cappadocia, Soumaya greeted us (along with her delightful daughter as an added bonus) at our hotels with a warm welcome. She kindly provided light refreshments in our room after a long journey and informed us of plans for the next day.

The hotel itself was fantastic; great view from the terrace, great service from staff and a really friendly and accommodating Hotel Manager. Our room was tidy, clean, spacious and had all the things you’d expect. We were not short of anything.

The itinerary itself was jam-packed and you really get your money’s worth on this trip. Soumaya organised a very well informed tour guide (Hassan) to take the group around Cappadocia’s beauty spots from hidden underground cities, to monasteries up in hills and dusty mountains. We got to see Cappadocia’s breathtaking views and explored a lot. There were plenty of opportunities for taking photos and selfies and Soumaya always asked if we were ok to proceed to the next spot or activity.

The girls on the trip were all friendly and theres always someone you’ll likely click with straightaway. I’d definitely use HTG again and would recommend them for any first time travellers who are nervous about solo travelling or just want the reassurance that a hosted trip brings.
