Established in 2012 the past 2 years almost killed me trying to help a nation & supply over 2,000,000kg of gym equipment. Ironically the few complaints on trust pilot is 0.00001 of the total number of people we’ve helped

I am sorry if anyone writing a bad review on this platform feels hard done by. But read our google reviews first please! As my company doesn’t want a trust pilot as I do not trust this platform.

We have just gone through a pandemic & supported over 10,000+ customers within the U.K. with health & fitness the last 2 years.

We exhibit at every major show & have sold over 200,000+ products the past decade

My company has been bullied into using trust pilot despite not requesting it & rejecting their enquiry as I trust google more

We only use & support google as a platform

Through 2020 till 2022 I had 10 days off, kept a number of suppliers in business & employed a number of people desperate for work

So I will not or never endorse trust pilot for my businesses as it’s not a true reflection of what we have achieved the past decade.

Unfortunately some customers are never happy no matter what you do for them. But I can introduce you to a company that has helped allot of people mentally / physically & contributes massively to its local community financially & sponsors many athletes

I will not allow my company to be trolled or bullied so before reading these research the man behind the company, identify with the fact that I speak regularly on BBC, have been working hard in the leisure industry since 1999 & again read our google reviews

DO NOT USE. This company appears to be a scam. Ordered an item for delivery in 7-10 days. Hadn't received it 3 weeks later and have been chasing ever since. No response to any emails. Did receive a standard email saying my item would be out for delivery the next day, however the courier link just shows they are expecting the item, but have not received it. Now a further 3 weeks have passed and still no response.

Poor quality bare steel dumbells at extortionate prices. The bars are made from cheap hollow mild steel and have no knurling. Collars are very badly designed and insecure, bordering on dangerous. Plates arrive covered in oil and won't fit on any other bars as they are not standard size. Trash.

Really poor quality dumbbells. They arrived dirty and covered in oil and was basically dropped off by a bloke in an Audi. Felt really dodgy.

The handle on the dumbbell is smooth and therefore prone to slippage when you’re in the midst of a workout with sweaty palms. Worst of all, the clips are useless, held together by a tiny screw that’s meant to support the weight of up to 20kg of plates on each side. I wouldn’t trust it as I’ve seen the clips move when working out and can’t push myself if I’m having to worry that the plates might slip out and land on my face or my leg. You also need to use an Allen key to remove the screw so you can remove the clip to change plates. What a pain! If you’re hoping to swap the clips with proper collars, think again because the diameter isn’t standard size (again really poor design thought process here)

I honestly don’t know how he has good reviews on google. I smell something really fishy here. Also, if you look closely you’ll see that the handle is welded quite poorly to the spindle where the plates go on. Looks really shoddy

I asked for a refund but the owner, Gavin was rude on the phone and basically messed me about. Stuff got lost in the post in the end because he changed the address I was meant to send it back to. Thankfully I managed to claim through insurance.

Avoid at all costs! There are better workout equipment out there at affordable prices. You’re better off buying loadable Olympic dumbbells and the plates separately which gives cost the same.

i ordered a hoodie and joggers set for my dads birthday i gave it 2 week before his birthday to make sure they arrived in time. It is now 7 week later my dad is without his birthday present and they are just issuing a refund now complete waste of my time

Heard about these guys at a BJJ comp several years ago. Finally decided to look them up and order some clothing over a month ago. Never received a confirmation email, just a text saying 'processing', so emailed a week later to ask if it's been sent. They got back to me to apologise for the delay and to say that it'd be with me that week. Skip forward over two weeks, and I still hadn't received anything, so I emailed to check and maybe get a tracking number, but received another email apologising, saying they'll investigate it and get back to me. That was again over two weeks ago now, and I've sent a couple more emails asking for updates, but they haven't replied.

I don't usually write bad reviews, especially of independent businesses, but the lack of product and general nature of being ghosted isn't professional, and I've been left feeling like I've been scammed here. All I can say is, thank God I didn't spend more money with them.

Ordered at beginning of March and received 10 days later. GymBeing are as good as their word. Liaised with John a couple of times who was really helpful and courteous.

I bought the Nickel 80kg dumbbell set and all I can say is Wow! Have used for multi joint movements on chest, back and shoulders often at full weight and the collars didn’t budge even by 1mm!

As a weightlifter of 34 year’s experience, this is the best bit of kit I’ve seen outside of a commercial gym. The collar system is innovative and secure. I gave both ends a really hard bash on the floor and the collars kept all the plates firmly in place. I can now train as heavy and with as much versatility as I can in my local hardcore gym and that is saying something!

Am so impressed with product quality and excellent service that have already ordered more equipment from GymBeing.

Same reviews as below, expensive and dangerous, not sure these will have passed any official standard checks for the UK market.
Clips loosen when they desire, which makes things like pullovers or skullcrushers very risky to attempt - unless you literally want a crushed skull...

The plates are good and that's as much as I can say.

The bars much less so, and the clips are very fiddly to operate with the allen key. In fact, with use the screw becomes loose, and it becomes dangerous as you can't be sure of how fast you've secured it (the allen key just turns around).

When I bought them they advertised these as standard 1" diameter (see here on the Web Archive) but they're not, they're much larger. This means you buy them thinking to use them with a different bar and that doesn't work. I only realised months later, after I had to stop using their dumbbell bars given the problem above.

In fairness, they've now changed the description to match the real size.

Also, not a good sign that they only approve positive reviews on their website, which kinda defeats the purpose of having reviews.

Set of Steel Dumbbells:

Disappointed, the bar diameter / plate hole is not 1" inch / 25 mm as advertised, they are in fact 35 mm and therefore not compatible with other dumbbell handles. I had planned to use spring clips with these but this makes it impossible, and also means I cannot use the plates with standard sized screw lock handles.

Having to use a fiddly allen key for the lock is a major inconvenience to change weights mid-workout between excercises (when arms / hands are fatigued). I have lost the allen key once already after a couple of weeks.

I regret buying these and wish I had spent my £400 on user friendly, standard sized equipment that was specified correctly on the manufacturers website...

I have bought a couple of steel dumbbells from this site and I am really happy, delivery took 10 days, but they told me that in advance, they looks sturdy and well made, the best is the price, very competitive and also they offer a pay by installments method, free interest.
