Just back from my fifth trip with Gutsy Girls and I have to say this one was something else! Lapland did not disappoint – the Sweden Multi Activity adventure was everything I hoped for and more. Every GG trip has been brilliant but this one really did sit up there with the best of them.
Flo our host was fab. Every evening she'd check in with us, letting us know what we were doing the next day and what to wear and pack – it sounds simple but honestly it made such a difference. No faff, no guessing, just turn up ready and enjoy it.
The activities were incredible and there was genuinely so much packed in – snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, visiting a Sami village, meeting reindeer, campfires, the northern lights, an ice dip, a husky sled ride... I could go on! I honestly couldn't choose a favourite, every single one was special in its own way. Flo and the guides were brilliant at keeping on top of conditions and making sure we got the absolute most out of every day. We didn't miss a thing.
The food was great throughout, the scenery was jaw-dropping, and as always it's the people that make a GG trip what it is. The women in our group were wonderful and that connection is honestly what turns a great holiday into an unforgettable one.

I’ve just got back from a week in Norway learning how to cross country ski and it was honestly just the most incredible trip from start to finish. I couldn’t have picked a more amazing group of women to of shared the experience with. We laughed so much and got on so well that we are all planning to continue the adventures onto another trip. It couldn’t have been possible without our superb host, Frankie, who went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best time together. She looked out for everyone, helped whenever it was needed and just did all the organising/thinking for us so we just needed to turn up and be present which was such a treat. The venue, Venabu, is a lovely family run hotel with a warming friendly vibe. The food is incredible and very much needed after a long day learning to ski; which is such great fun if you’ve never tried it before. The trip also included yoga, dog sledging, a horse sleigh ride and a dip in the frozen lake. All the activities were really well organised and just added to the incredible overall experience. I doubt I would have had such a good time had it not been for the organisation and thought that Gutsy Girls put into their trips. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate, just go for it! Honestly, words can’t do this trip enough justice, you need to experience it for yourself!

I've just returned from my first adventure with Gutsy Girls – the Sweden Multi Activity Adventure in stunning Lapland – and it truly surpassed my expectations. Initially, I didn't know what to anticipate, but every single day brought new delights and unforgettable experiences. The breathtaking location, our wonderful host Flo, the knowledgeable local guides, the women I shared the journey with, the exciting activities, and the delicious food all came together to create an outstanding, five-star holiday.
Before the trip, I was a bit worried that the mild weather might limit what we could do. However, Flo and the guides were incredibly proactive, always monitoring the conditions and ensuring we made the most of every opportunity – we didn’t miss out on a thing. I had always wanted to try snowshoeing, and I’m thrilled I finally got the chance, along with so many other memorable activities.
At over 60, I was slightly apprehensive about keeping up with the group. Age is not a barrier. If you’re considering this adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

It was my first trip with Gutsy girls but everyone else in the group were returning guests and enthusiasts. I was immediately impressed by the wide level of satisfaction. They delivered an itinerary closely matched to the trip description, put us in a very comfortable lodge, fully took care of logistics and guide support. Our "host " and fellow traveler was terrific, on the ball, helpful, able. As a solo traveler I appreciated that we were all solo travelers which allowed for easy socializing.

So lovely to have all the activities arranged with superb hosting by Clair. Great tuition on our cross country skiing along with amazing food and service at our hotel. All topped of with fabulous ladies on the trip.

Excellent holiday experience which far exceeded my expectations. Well organised from start to finish. Big shout out to our host-Dom who was friendly, inclusive and incredibly supportive during the xc skiing activities. Out instructor Ursula was also the best I have ever come across. As an older (64) novice xc skier i found both to be incredibly confidence enspriring. The hotel was brilliant - comfortable with excellent food. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience with some amazing women. Our cross country skiing instructor Ros was the best and her teaching skills about skiing made it fun and easy to follow. Alex kept us organized and informed. It was a pleasure bonding with this group of women. Absolutely loved the scenery and the lodge we stayed at. I would definitely do another Gutsy Girl tour.💕

A great group of like minded women with an excellent host who made everything so easy for us. We were collected from the airport and each activity was organised for us, although if you wanted some downtime that was fine too. Every question was answered and we had the time of our lives. This was my second trip and I have a third later in the year, in case you’re concerned about age then our group ranged from 30 to well over 60. Overall fitness and willingness to have a go matters more than age.

I am just back from my trip with Gutsy Girls! It was fantastic! Our host Frankie was so welcoming, encouraging and great fun. She was super organised and kept us informed on the the daily activities and timetable. The booking process was very easy and I appreciated their detailed packing list and information on what to expect. The hotel we were staying in was a lovely family run hotel with cosy interior and delicious food. I have a food allergy which was handled perfectly by both Gutsy Girls and the hotel, this was greatly appreciated! The balance of activities was just right. I did the beginner cross country ski and yoga 4 day trip which also included ice bath and horse sleigh ride. The instructors for all activities were very knowledgeable, friendly and expertly handled a varied group of different abilities. I would definitely book another trip with Gutsy Girls again!

An excellent programme for a weeks cross country skiing holiday in Norway. Additional activities included; all were amazing but the ice dip was something special. Hotel and food were spot on and our group of "gutsy girls" were so supportive of each other; whilst our host Charlotte and Instructor Glen were fabulous.
If you are hesitating about booking just " go for it ". One of my best holidays EVER !

Wow, what a fantastic experience! Every little detail was well planned out, the hotel was really lovely and the food was really delicious. Our guide was super and the group of women on my trip were simply fab - a very diverse and fun group of people. I had such a great time that I have every intention of doing it again next year!

What a phenomenal experience, everything was so slick and well organized and the memories of the trip will last a lifetime.

I just finished an amazing week cross country skiing in Norway. I cannot give enough praise for this trip. It was well organized with just the right amount of activities. The food was fabulous. Our guides made the trip exciting and fun. I would highly recommend this company

Wow! I loved the GG trip to Norway. Our cabin was much larger than I expected and in a fabulous position, right on the edge of the fjord. We had a sauna to enjoy after our dips 🥶 and delicious food throughout the week. The activities were well organised by our guides Rasmus and Seb who were fun, friendly and experienced. Communication with Gutsy Girls was great throughout. I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes being off the beaten track, having adventures with like-minded people.

If you’re not sure whether to book, take this as a sign TO DO IT!
I am a (nearly) 50 yr old who has always loved exploring the outdoors but was feeling rusty and not hugely physically confident. I felt completely supported & lifted up by this Gutsy Girls experience and the group of women (and incredible male guides) I had the fortune to adventure with. It was a blast, it was beautiful and I’ve been thinking about it every day since.

I had a great week in Sweden with GG. We did XC skiing and camping and it was so different to what I've done before. We spent the first few days getting familiar with all our kit, and then went off for two nights into the wilderness. We were taught how to put up tents in our skis, build trenches and make a snow home. The kit was amazing, and the food delicious. Our host Martha was great fun, and we had a lot of laughs together, feeling sad it came to an end! We enjoyed the sauna and icy dips whilst we were at the lodge, and it was very welcomed after two nights camping.

Brilliant 5 day trip to Norway to learn to cross country ski with a bit of gentle yoga, a horse sleigh ride, outdoor sauna and ice hole dip. Lovely group of like minded women - just having a go. Didn’t need to be any good to have fun. Amazing food. Great skiing tuition and lovely family run hotel. Would highly recommend this trip and very likely to do another one

I was quite hesitant taking the leap to go on this active holiday partly because of my older age but the whole experience was inclusive well organised and exceeded my expectations. The host 'Charlotte' was incredible.. always available..nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond. The venue was so relaxing being both quiet and sociable,if you chose, friendly and the food was amazing. The activities were such a bonus adding to the whole experience. The group worked incredibly well together even with an estimated overall age difference of over 40 years..Totally exceeded my expectations. Thank you Gutsy girls
