Fantastic trip! Booked onto the Norway winter kayak with my mum and we both loved it. Flo was a brilliant host and her attentiveness really made the trip. 10/10 would recommend ✨

This was my second trip with Gutsy Girls, and I had a fantastic time! The Finland multi-activity trip was very well-planned, with three days of snowshoeing, two days of cross country skiing, and one day of biking, all led by an experienced and knowledgeable local guide. I loved the peace and quiet that Hossa National Park offered – we hardly saw anyone else while we there. The accommodation was simple but very comfortable, and the cook made us delicious meals that took into consideration multiple dietary restrictions. I will definitely book more Gutsy Girls adventures!

I had an incredible experience with Gutsy Girls in Norway. From the moment I arrived, the host (Flo) was exceptional, warm, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable, which made the whole trip feel both safe and empowering.

The activities (kayaking, snowshoeing and hiking led by Norwegian Paddling) were thoughtfully designed to gently push you outside your comfort zone while always prioritising safety and support.

Sharing the experience with a group of inspiring women made it even more special. Add to that an amazing location and truly great food, and it was an adventure I’ll remember for a long time. I would absolutely recommend Gutsy Girls to anyone looking to grow, connect, and experience something unforgettable.

The entire trip was completely amazing. I attended the Finland Snowshoeing week in Hossa National Park. Everything was so incredibly well organized, from breakfast down to the sauna and ice baths. Our two leaders: Riikka and Savannah were just amazing! The views were spectacular and the good company and lifelong friends I made just made this trip more than I could imagine.

I had THE most amazing time in Sweden with the most incredible women I’ve ever met. Everyone had a can do attitude and we never gave up, even when we were snowshoe hiking in -25 degrees and couldn’t feel our fingers and toes.

We had four days fully packed with activities: snowshoeing, meeting the Sami tribe and their reindeers, backcountry skiing, snowmobiling with ice fishing, and husky sledding to finish off. Even the Northern Lights appeared on our arrival to the hotel!

I was so out of my comfort zone; hate being cold, really dislike snow and ice, never traveled solo and I’m slightly introverted but I absolutely smashed this and had an incredible, once in a lifetime, holiday. Ladies, I highly recommend booking this trip with Gutsy Girls it’s called Sweden: Winter Multi-Activity Adventure in Lapland. I should have done it years ago!!

I’ve just come back from the most incredible 5 day ski and yoga retreat in Norway, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, having never been on skis before I now feel so confident!

The group of women on the trip were amazing! Rosie was an exceptional host, and our ski guide, Rebecca, was endlessly patient. The food was honestly sooooo good, and the hotel was cosy, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming.

Can't wait for my next trip!!

This was my second GG trip and it was as good as my first. Extremely well organised with a fabulous supportive host. The accommodation was excellent and the activities were perfect. There is no pressure to participate in everything but there is lots of encouragement if you find things difficult. Thanks Rosie for being an incredible host.

Extremely well organised , everything one would need if you are into group type holidays , Venabu hotel and surround for the XC ski trip was fabulous , yummiest food and charming Nordic atmosphere . So friendly and very inclusive .

I booked the Finnish snowshoeing trip with Gutsy Girls for over the New Year , it is one of the best trips I have done. Great communication with the company before I left and able to ask any questions, with quick responses. A what's app group is set up before you go so we were able to start chatting with the other people going, this helped with extra packing tips and to ease the initial anxiety of meeting up when we got there. Such a fab group of people, an excellent GG host, Savana and Finnish guide Riikka just made for an awesome trip. Finland is so beautiful, even in -27. The good was great and accomodation both on and off grid made for a great winter experience. Would definitely book again with Gutsy Girls!

Just returned from the most magical 4 day ski/yoga trip in Norway. Couldn’t fault a thing. Wonderful group of women, brilliant host, Rosie, and a knowledgeable and patient ski guide, Rebecca. Food was to die for, the hotel was other worldly and was a perfect balance of 5star comfort whilst still feeling super homely & welcoming. Excellent snow conditions & the Northern Lights was the cherry on top. Thank you!

I must have looked at the Gutsy Girls website about a dozen times before booking - and can now safely say I have zero regrets! I spent a week over New Year with a group of amazing women on the multi-activity tour in Finland. We had a mad mix of ages and backgrounds, experiences and lifestyles, and most importantly - endless banter!

The activities were adapted to the weather so our Guide was always thinking about the best way to enjoy our days and make the most of everything. Speaking of - what a guide! Marjo had such a positive outlook on everything, a fabulous sense of humour, and really took care of us for the entire week. Not to forget our host Liz - what a woman! Every trip needs a Liz…calm, caring, and incredibly sweet-natured…it wouldn't have been the same without her. And the food - shout out to Maria and Sato for the hospitality and that salmon, woof!

Well organised trip, it was great to not have to worry about anything! All went very smoothly and I have already booked a second trip with them. Our host Natasha was fantastic - friendly, fun, organised and gave space as appropriate.

I had a wonderful experience cross country skiing in Norway. I got a real taste of Norwegian food and culture, learnt to stay up right on the skis and made some wonderful new friends. There's optional frozen lake dip, dog sledging and horse sleigh ride. Getting outside your comfort zone in a safe space. Cant recommend it enough. Thank Gutsy Girls!!

A wonderful adventure with Gutsy Girls! Loved it all, the small group, the shared warm cosy cabin and the itinerary was perfect. Finland was an amazing choice and the location in absolutely breathtaking. I felt well looked after and cared for during my trip. Liz was so kind and supportive and ensured we all were ok and Marjo was the most brilliant tour guide and we all felt that we were in the best of hands with the two of them. Maria who cooked everything - the food was perfect and she made sure everyone had something delicious to eat 24/7. If you are looking for an adventure, reserve your place now, you won't be disappointed - only when you have to go home!

Just home from the Finland multi activity trip (snowshoeing, fat biking and cross country skiing) in the Hossa National Park. My first trip with Gutsy Girls and to Finland and what an amazing experience. The communication and organisation was very good, Mario the local guide leader was outstanding, as was Liz our Gutsy Girls host, and Maria who cooked for us really looked after us with delicious food. I thought the trip matched the description as advertised perfectly in regards to fitness levels required and skill set, the equipment supplied was of a high standard too. To top it off it was amazing to spend a week in such a beautiful place with a group of wonderful like minded people ( we ranged in ages, nationalities and experiences) it was perfect 👌 I would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking another trip . I’m missing the Finnish saunas and ice dipping already !

A brilliantly organised, life‑giving adventure — worth every penny

I joined a Gutsy Girls trip to Venabu in Norway over Christmas, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. The whole week was incredibly well organised - from the moment I booked, everything was clear, calm, and thoughtfully handled. All activities, instruction, food, and logistics were included, and it was such a relief to hand over the planning to someone else for once. Especially at this time of year, that level of well‑held adventure was invaluable.

The trip was great value for money, too. I learnt classic‑style cross‑country skiing with an exceptional instructor (Ingrid - she was incredible), did daily yoga, tried snowshoeing, dog sledding, sauna and ice plunges, and visited a partially frozen waterfall. Every activity ran smoothly, safely, and with a real sense of joy.

The GG and hotel team were wonderfully adaptable throughout the week, adjusting the schedule to suit the weather, energy levels, and the needs of the group without ever making it feel complicated or a chore. And because this trip fell over Christmas, there was a full traditional Norwegian celebration - complete with individually wrapped gifts - and it was one of the most memorable festive experiences I’ve had. The Northern Lights even made an appearance for several nights in a row, which felt like pure magic.

On a personal level, the week gave me far more than a new skill. I found connection, friendship, and a reminder of my own wild and adventurous self at a time when life has been complicated and heavy.

If you’re looking for a well‑run, supportive, good‑value adventure with brilliant people, I can recommend Gutsy Girls. I came home with renewed confidence, new memories, and a full heart. I’ll be booking another one.

Iceland multi sport trip over Christmas: had a wonderful trip thanks to Esme, Olof, and the ladies in the group. While the weather didn’t always cooperate, the trip was a nice mix of outdoorsy adventures, chill time to connect, and lots of local food. It was really special how they incorporated local traditions, especially related to the holiday season. Definitely recommend!

This has been the most amazing adventure. Five days of pure pleasure. Action packed and totally fun filled. Shared with a wonderful group of like minded women from all over and of all ages. Our host Polly and instructor Ursula could not have done more for us and bent over backwards to make this the most memorable trip. A great group of women sharing challenges and fun. Loads of laughter, memories, cross country skiing skills and extras such as ice dipping in the lake and ideal relaxing yoga with Daria, even the Northern Lights turned up for us. How lucky we were. This has been such a wonderful, memorable experience. I will never forget it and hope to meet up n the future with new friends made there. I cannot recommend this trip enough to any ‘Gutsy Girl’ temped. Go for it.

An action packed trip cross country skiing in Norway 🇳🇴 over Xmas - we had a fabulous host in Helen who went above and beyond to make the trip extra special. The backdrop was a delightful family run mountain hotel, where we experienced the traditional cuisine and customs of Christmas. Meeting eight lovely ladies up for adventure, made it a trip full of laughter and memorable moments, not one I’ll forget in a hurry.
