I ordered the Iceman Bass Kit
I ordered the Iceman Bass Kit. Within 10 days it was at my door. From the UK to Michigan, USA. Awesome in itself. It was easy to put together. After a few tweeks, it will be show ready. Good job guys.

Needs work.
There are a couple of flaws in the kit I purchased. The neck shape at the heel isn't symmetrical. There is also a small dent in the body on the top edge of the top horn.

Il kit arriva in una scatola di cartone che non è proprio il massimo, se fosse caduta durante il trasporto si sarebbe potuto rompere qualcosa.
Il body ha una parte non ben sagomata, il pickguard è troppo grande e non si adatta al corpo, le meccaniche non tengono a lungo l'accordatura.
Qualità dei legni ottima ,pick up, ponte e ferma corde non sono niente male.
Il prezzo del kit è troppo elevato visto i problemi riscontrati.
A meno che i prezzi non scendano intorno ai 100/120 euro non consiglio l'acquisto di questi kit.

Ci dispiace leggere le difficoltà riscontrate e avremmo voluto poterle offrire un supporto più diretto. Purtroppo, non avendo ricevuto riscontro alla nostra richiesta di dettagli dell’ordine tramite Trustpilot, e non trovando alcun ordine associato al nome indicato nei nostri sistemi, non ci è stato possibile verificare il caso né intervenire in modo concreto.
Per quanto riguarda le sue osservazioni: la qualità dei legni è uno dei punti centrali dei nostri kit, così come l’elettronica di base, pensata come una piattaforma solida per eventuali upgrades. Alcuni componenti, come le meccaniche o il pickguard, possono richiedere piccoli aggiustamenti durante l’assemblaggio, come avviene comunemente nei kit DIY.
Siamo sinceramente dispiaciuti che il rapport qualité/prix non abbia soddisfatto le sue aspettative. Quando viene segnalato un problema reale, lo prendiamo sempre seriamente e lavoriamo per trovare una soluzione con il cliente.
Rimaniamo comunque a disposizione: se desidera riprendere contatto fornendoci i dettagli dell’ordine, saremo lieti di verificare la situazione e assisterla nel miglior modo possibile.

Friendly + professional + good quality
I have build a few guitars and wanted to build a bass guitar. The kit quality from The Guitar Fabric is outstanding. I really enjoy working with the ash wood body. The Canadian maple neck was just finished with oil and looks beautiful. The hardware is decent quality and there is no need for soldering. Overall a very good package and I will definitely recommend them. Thanks for all your help.

Un très beau kit
Commande passée le mardi après midi, et reçue le jeudi, vraiment top! Le tout bien emballé et protégé (ils ne lésinent pas sur le papier bulle). Le kit commandé (Rickenbacker gaucher) est superbe, les bois semblent de belle qualité, la table est massive (non non ce n'est pas du contre plaqué). Le manche est de belle facture. Les mécaniques semblent un peu cheap, nous verrons à l'usage pour un changement si besoin. Jusque là, je recommande!

Had problems with the wiring
Had problems with the wiring. Have built over 20 guitars so know what should be what. Problem with the wiring on this kit. Dutifully followed all instructions from their support person. Wiring is faulty. I should not have to go so far as to re-solder parts to correct problems. Now being ignored.

The website is honestly catastrophic but I love the customer support
The website is honestly catastrophic. The design, the information. Examples: the payment info (bank transfer) is not sufficient for someone from another country. My card was declined for no apparent reason. I didn't really receive a lot of information about my package, I needed to track it myself (usually I will receive info that it is on its way and will be delivered on a certain date). However, your customer support is top notch. Really awesome people, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, super quick to answer with comprehensive updates. Love them, please give them my best :))
