40€ for nothing
You have to pay the return shipping costs of €12 and more yourself, plus the shipping costs, even though I didn't keep the item. I couldn't pick up my package because I was on vacation, and even though I was assured it would arrive before my vacation, I now have to pay the return shipping costs again. I had to pay €40 for nothing. Never again!!! Also, my skirt arrived ripped.

We’re truly sorry that your experience didn’t turn out as you hoped. Please know that our Customer Support team did everything possible to assist you with care and attention, always explaining each step of the process as clearly as we could.
As mentioned in our Refunds & Exchange Policy, and as we shared with you via email, the cost of returning the item, as well as any expenses associated with sending the order back to our warehouse in Portugal, are to be covered by the customer, unless there’s any problem with a product or with the order.
It’s also stated that shipping charges from the original order are non-refundable, as they apply to the initial dispatch of your purchase.
Regarding the delivery time, your parcel arrived on the 4th business day, which was within that expected window of the shipment you choose. We’re truly sorry that it didn’t reach you before your trip, please note that an express delivery option is also available at checkout for those moments when a faster delivery is needed.
The return shipping cost for your first order was 12€, and for the second order, which was automatically returned to us after not being collected, 8,59€ was deducted from your refund to cover the return costs. In total, these expenses amounted to 20,59€ and correspond only to courier fees. No additional charges were applied for the return itself.
As for the skirt you mentioned bought on January 2024, our team immediately offered to collect and replace it or issue a refund, and we also shared a discount code as a small way to compensate you for the inconvenience caused. You chose a replacement, which we shipped within one week.
We truly did our best to find the fairest solution, always following our company policy to stay fair and consistent with everyone in our community.

Great product, but disappointing customer service
I ordered two of the same shirt for my first order because I was unsure of my size. Unfortunately, I missed my latest date of return for the order by one day exactly. I 100% acknoledge this was my fault, but I still hoped for help by contacting customer service. They did not want to take the shirt back, claiming it was not fair towards their other customers. I initially really liked the shirt and I do wear the one that fit me, but this threw me off. Not only is this particular shirt always sold out (which means they won´t have trouble finding another buyer for it), it also doesn´t match the sustainability and zero waste principles displayed on the website. Now I have a relatively expensive spare shirt, that I can´t make use of. I´m really disappointed with the customer service experience and probably won´t place another order. Missing deadlines by one day is human.

Our "Refunds & Exchange Policy" is always available on our website, and with each order we also include a printed sheet that gently explains how returns and exchanges work, along with the exact deadlines. Because the request wasn’t submitted through our Exchanges & Returns portal, it left us in a very delicate situation. As much as we’d love to make an exception, we need to remain consistent, otherwise, it would no longer feel fair to all of our customers.
We also want to reassure you that sustainability is truly at the heart of what we do. Every returned piece goes through a careful process before being made available again, which is why requests need to be registered in order to follow the proper flow. This way, nothing is wasted, and every item has the chance to find its new home.
It warms our hearts to know that the shirt that fits you is being worn and cherished. Each design is created with so much love and care, made to be timeless and to accompany you for many years to come, and that is what we truly wish for every piece we create.

Since they’re 100% cotton, they will loosen with wear and return to their original shape after washing, which is part of their natural process. Lovely style and quality!
I had been wanting some pieces for guaja for a while but wasn't sure how the pieces would fit on my body, I have an hour glass figure and have a wider hip to waist ratio than average, after messaging guaja on Instagram for their advice, I ordered the sizes as suggested and they fit wonderfully!! I am so happy with my purchases and feel the quality is so good. I will for sure be buying from them again :)
