The northmen are still pillaging England

Ordered some trousers. They were far too big. They went back in the packet within 5 mins of me receiving them.
Their exchange policy is to place another order for the correct size which I did straight away and returned the ones that didn't fit that same day.
I then get an email to say they have received them and won't refund me as I got some hair on them. They now have my money and the item and are saying if I don't pay them more money for postage they will dispose of the trousers.
Do not buy if you're expecting to be able to try anything on and return of it's not correct.
If they had a normal sizing system for their garments I probably would have bought the correct size 1st time but they don't work in waist circumference measurements like all other clothes.
Thoroughly disappointed and won't be ordering again

Sorry to hear that you feel pillaged.

All garments have detailed measurement guides and size charts on the product pages, which should miminze the chances of ordering the wrong size.

When it comes to returns - it's actually quite simple. How would you have felt as a customer if the trousers you ordered had hairs on them upon arrival? Probably not satisfied. Returned products need therefore to be in the same condition as when received (=new and unused). Otherwise we won't be able to put them back into stock, since we certainly won't ship out trousers with hairs on them.

When it comes to sending them back - we're not asking for anything extra ordinary. If you sent us trousers that can't be put back into the stock, then you should naturally cover the shipping back to you.

We hope that you can look at this objectively and understand our standpoint.

Fantastic folks to deal with

Before ordering, the staff at Grimfrost was beyond helpful and very patient with a lot of questions about items. Ordering is quick and painless. Shipping was without a hitch. I had to try Viking sweets and they were impressive. I wish I had ordered more as they didn't last a week. There is so much on their website. Not only the things to purchase but historical and educational information as well. I will definitely recommend them to other friends of mine and will be ordering more things soon. Very unique items I have not seen elsewhere.

Obviously talking to a robot who just…

Obviously talking to a robot who just keeps repeating the same line . But at least i am now fully aware that old railroad spikes are used to make Rallar knives, also known as navvy knives Absolutely fascinating, but useless. Not only is my knife not fit for purpose , but there is no communication with this company.

What made me choose Grimfrost again?

There are a few reasons I am choosing Grimfrost again:

1. After being a customer for a while, I got a problem in the website that did not let me see the rewards page. I got in contact with the Grimfrost support team to see if this is solvable. After two weeks of work from both sides, we got the system to work again. Now I am able to see and use the rewards.

2. After placing an order it was not shipped within two weeks. I contacted the support team and asked if everything was okay with the order or not. I got a reply that the item is out of stock, however, we came to an agreement to send a different item of similar cost.

3. After these struggles they offered a gesture of goodwill- 30 euro discount code as a compensation of the problems that occurred on their end.

I have never been more satisfied with the support and the quality of products.

I placed an order to Australia and…

I placed an order to Australia and after 14 days with it not being dispatched or receiving any updates on the matter plus multiple queries, was finally informed they did not have the item in stock, now i am waiting once again for a response regarding a refund. Extremely poor customer service and management of stock as item is still showing in stock, i advise anyone buying from outside of usa or europe to go elsewhere.

Sorry to hear that your ordered item was out of stock. That can, unfortunately, happen at rare times due to glitches in the system.

We understand that it can be frustrating to wait for a reply. Our customer service usually replies within 24 hours, unless it is a weekend or a holiday in which case it may take longer. Your order was placed on March 28, the Saturday right before Easter week which contains several holidays. This, together with time zone differences, pushed back our reply to April 7th, which was the first work day after Easter.

We hope that you understand and that you are satisfied with customer service's effort to give you a satisfying solution.

Very Happy With Our Grimfrost Orders!

We have placed two orders with Grimfrost, ordering pants, t-shirts, a tunic, jacket, belt and leg wraps. Ordering was straight forward, delivery time was fast, good communication regarding notifications and best of all really nice products. Good quality, Authentic and well priced.
Highly recommended.
The only downside for us in Canada is that we have to pay for customs and duty fees. I would order from them again.

Sympathisch in jeder Hinsicht

Nun zur Essenz: Der Nachwuchs liebt die Kuscheltiere, die wirklich alle gut verarbeitet und sehr niedlich sind. Der Kuschel-Fenris-Wolf oder der Kuschel-Sleipnir sind grandios!
Schmuck, Kleidung und Waffen (korrekter: Blankwaffen-Simulatoren für HEMA) sind sowohl als historisch korrekte als auch in Fantasy-Ausführungen vertreten, jedoch in stets hochwertigen Ausführungen. Die moderne (Sport-)Bekleidung kann ich noch nicht beurteilen. Insgesamt werde ich hier wieder bestellen.

Don’t bother

Don’t bother ordering anything from Grimfrost !!! I ordered a good plated Thors hammer and chain labelled in stock last week. Three days in I got an email to say the chain was out of stock annoying but it happens I asked if they had any others in a similar size 2 days later came back and said no so got a refund on the chain. Emailed yesterday as we are 7 days in on a 10 day delivery to ask when the hammer will be posted to be told today (day 8 ) that is also out of stock now !!! Why advertise items you don’t have ? Why waste my time if I hadn’t emailed you would you have even emailed me ? Probably not. Customer service and the company is not worth your time or your effort don’t bother ordering you won’t get what you’ve paid for.

Sorry to hear that. Our customer service replies within 24 hours on weekdays. Emails sent on Fridays are therefore often replied to on Mondays (there may be a time zone difference as well since we are in Sweden).

You placed your order in December, which is a hectic month. It was very unfortunate that the gold plated Thor's Hammer was out of stock, as well as the chain you wanted. We rarely experience this, since inventory levels are automated - but during hectic periods, like in December, there can be glitches.

Apologies again John for the trouble. Hope you'll give us another chance.

I have been a member since 2017 after receiving my first order.
I ALWAYS have been satisfied and pleased with their products and the customer service. I have purchased their products 26 times since 2017. It says it all..!

Ingen service som att kommunicera med…

Ingen service som att kommunicera med en robot. Försökte returnera ett halsband. Lite försent pga att jag missade det. Men hänvisades bara till deras retur policy. Tvingas betala frakten för att få tillbaka halsbandet som jag returnerade annars skulle det slängas.

Vi har en returpolicy, som alla bolag, där man måste skicka tillbaka produkter inom en viss tidsram och i nyskick. Sen kan vi inte stå för frakter under omständigheter som vi inte ansvarar för.

Still Haven’t Received My Order After Nearly Two Months

I placed an order on Grimfrost’s website almost two months ago for a pendant, and I still haven’t received it. I’ve tried to be patient, but this delay is far beyond reasonable. There’s been little to no communication or update on my order status, and I’m starting to feel like I may never get what I paid for.

I was really excited to support Grimfrost because of their reputation and the quality of their products, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. I hope they resolve this soon, but until then, I can’t recommend ordering from them unless you’re prepared to wait indefinitely and deal with poor customer service.

Huge apologies for the late reply. No disrespect intended.

Orders placed around October suffered insane delays due to the new, sudden border regulations in the US. Tariffs, government institution handling (FDA, Fish & Wildlife etc.), immense backlogs everywhere and warehouses so full that couriers had to use facilities in Alaska.

Our customer service, that usually replies within 24 hours, was under such a heavy burden that it took a bit longer for them a few days extra to get back in some cases. Add to that the fact that they couldn't get any info from UPS regarding why certain packages were stuck, where they were stuck and for how long.

The good news are that all that was sorted out long ago, and our current orders flow as always into the US without any extra tariffs or administartive fees for our customers.

Hope you understand and will give us another chance.

Not only does Grimfrost provide top-quality products, their customer service is excellent. They are always so prudent and polite when it comes to any complications with orders, and handle the issue quickly and professionally. I have yet to be dissatisfied with Grimfrost's services.
