They kept pushing addons on us, gave us a car that didn't work initially, and tried to tell us a pre-existing damage on the car was something we did. Horrible experience.

Great experience
Great experience, staff were very helpful and car was great. Got seen to in good time and was on my way, however…. Was told the holding fee when paid by credit card was 7-10 days when realistically it was 30 days!! When I rang and queried after 3 weeks was told no usually 30 days. So not sure why I was told 7-10 days.

Quick pick up
Quick pick up, very quick drop off. Only thing they said it had 1/4 of a tank. I only got ti the down slope at the M11 less than 2 miles away and car display saud it was out of petrol. I do wish they did full to full or empty to empty as the digital displays are not as accurate as the old fashioned dial and pointer.

I got 4 fines, of course my fault. But the exceedingly high extra administration fees charged are absurdly high and unjustified.
The Green Motion service and the car itself were absolutely perfect.

Der Mietprozess war super. Der Staff sehr nett und kompetent. Was mir nicht gefallen hat: ich hatte eine Reifenpanne. Dabei wurde auch die Felge etwas angekratzt. Ich musste für ein Paar (ich wiederhole: ein Paar) neue Felgen bezahlen. Wegen einem Kratzer? Wieso ein Paar. Unfair.

Quick bus ride to collect car which was a quick straight forward process.
Nice car but could have had a wash.
Returning car was again quick and easy. Few checks and we were back on the bus to the airport.

I booked through a third party company…
I booked through a third party company - Rentalcars.com and then received a confirmation from U-Save, which is apparently connected with Green Motion. I did all the advance check in procedures and expected that we would be able to collect the car quickly at Stansted Airport. We were there for 2 1/2 hours! The staff couldn't have cared less. They said that we needed to give them a £2000 security deposit (despite paying for full insurance when we made the booking). We gave them a credit card to hold this but they wouldn't accept it because it was in my name and not my husband, who was the designated driver. My husband does not possess a credit card, so that meant we were stuck - the staff didn't care and spoke to us as if we were criminals! At no time during the booking process was I made aware that a credit card would be required IN THE NAME OF THE DRIVER. We ended up having to cancel our original booking and make another one. The woman was trying her best to get us to pay another £500 for full insurance - when I went online I managed to book the car, including the full insurance for £256.10. It's incredible that these people are constantly trying to rip you off! She was trying to 'upgrade' our booking with an additional driver for a mear £10 per day and then take out additional insurance in case we had a flat tyre - which would have been another £10 per day - this is all on top of the £500 she was trying to charge us for the full insurance. These companies are scammers - there is no other way to put it. I will never book through U-Save or Green Motion again and would highly recommend that you avoid it at all costs.

We understand your frustration with the long wait, the credit-card requirement in the driver’s name and the difference between the cover you believed you had booked and the options presented at the desk. The booking route involved Rentalcars.com and U-Save, so the confirmation and rental terms need checking before we can comment on what was communicated. Please email your booking confirmations, rental reference and any correspondence privately to ics@cs.greenmotion.com so central customer services can review the sequence and respond.

Very well organised from the airport to the booking desk. Quite quick to have the car and the same to give it back. The car was clean.

Straight forward hire although surprised with the fuel deposit not verified on the website agreement. £88.00 expensive and as yet not returned. I filled the car up to more than the level on pick up.

Ma voiture à Londres Stansted…
Réserver ma voiture à Londres Stansted s'est fait sans problème à un prix très compétitif. Le personnel était aimable, professionnel, serviable et efficace. La voiture avait une fine rayure sur le côté, mais sinon, elle était impeccable. Ils insistent un peu trop sur la vente de leur assurance (chère). Michael, qui a finalisé le dossier à mon retour, était excellent ; ce fut un plaisir de le rencontrer. Mon voyage s'est très bien passé et Green Motion y a grandement contribué. J'ai eu pleinement confiance en eux et je referai appel à leurs services sans hésiter.
