This is the first time I’ve had an air source heat pump (inherited from a house purchase and the previous owner Installation).
I was not used to this kind of system, having always had gas provision and there were some things which seemed a little bit strange to me in the configuration of installation.
I called the technical helpline where I encountered Josh. I have to say that without doubt he is one of the most helpful people I have ever encountered in any transaction. He asked for some photographs to understand the installation and immediately recognised what was going on in the system. From there on he was able to make some constructive ideas to consider in terms of potential changes, with a realistic approach of whether they may actually improve the system. He instilled such a confidence in me that since my previous query, I was able to contact him with yet again, a real can-do attitude and his recollection even of my system configuration absolutely impressed me when he’s probably speaking to lots and lots of customers.
I have absolute confidence, not only in Grant UK, as a result of my dealings alone with Josh but in the product itself in terms of reliability and longevity. So essentially, I’m a very happy customer and wholeheartedly would recommend my experience.

I have a grant R290 9kw unit fitted with smart controller and room sensor.. so far it’s been excellent.. high performance, fast response, very effective.

Early days with our heat pump but good so far. Pump itself is compact and very quiet. System seems efficient but yet to be tested in colder weather for the adequacy of the temperature. Installation went well and all the team were hard-working, diligent and considerate. Process of survey and funding was good and presented no issues for us. On current experience, would recommend both the kit and the installers.

Boiler installation relatively smooth, nice and quite, water boiling hot. Easy to register, swift response from companu.

VTX PRO 26/46 installed last week by HQ Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd. Great support throughout the decision to change the heating system, including oil tank selection/installation. Professional from start to finish.

Efficient and professional engineers fitted the boiler in three days and the job they did was very good. I am very pleased.

I have had nothing but trouble with my Grants oil boiler since it was installed. So I wrote a trustpilot review to warn others off making a similar, very costly mistake. Shortly after it was published Paul from Grants contacted me to listen to what has gone wrong. They then sent the wonderful Daniel out earlier this week who listened to all my gripes, spoke to the plumber who has been trying to resolve this for us, and spent ages checking things over and fixing things he thought could be causing the problems. He even bled all my radiators when he was finished as there was likely to be air in the system after all the work he had done.

The faults with the boiler are intermittent so I can't say it has definitely been fixed, but for customer service they deserve 5 stars. I will update the review when I know if all the problems have been solved, but for the moment I am absolutely delighted and have real faith this nightmare may be over.

I I really can’t state strongly enough how bad my Grants oil fired boiler is. It’s been in for 7 years and it’s been 7 years of stress and hassle.

Grants the company did send someone to look at it about 3 years ago and said it was fine so from a customer service perspective they were good but from the perspective of manufacturing a boiler that does what it needs to do, they’ve not managed that.

It has been regularly serviced by a qualified engineer but it is a constant source of stress and we have to go outside to reset it at least once a week (sometimes once a day). I did lots of research before getting this new boiler fitted which makes this all the more disappointing.

The product is working well since it’s been installed but I wanted to write a review on the customer service. There was a small post installation issue and I spoke to the Grant Customer Service team to get an engineer out to fix under guarantee. Even though the fault wasn’t completely covered by the guarantee, they fixed it without charging me extra. You’ve won a loyal customer for life. Well down Grants

Only boiler that is reliable and simple , wouldn't buy anything else

The boiler has just been installed so we need to wait 10 years before I can give a sensible review, but both the installer and commissioning engineer speak well of the product.

Initially a very speedy attendance following my report of boiler water leak. Subsequent boiler replacement was completed following a power wash of pipework. Efficient and friendly guys Highly recommended.

Had a new Grant Vortex Boiler 46/70 kw installed by ATP Heating Services. Good job. Quietly and efficiently done. Boiler working well.

Great little boiler. Fits our back yard a treat and looks very smart. It’s very smooth and quiet and we like the fact it’s low nox.
Our cottage has now entered the 21st century with Bluetooth connection to the thermostat. We are now warm at last.
