Gradguide was the one place where I felt that everyone there wants to see me win. Every single connection I made advised me as if I were them. Their advice would be lessons they learned as graduates or when they were starting their careers. As a graduate in final year, there are many things to worry and stress about, but with Gradguide I really felt like I had nothing to worry about, in terms of finding a job.

A common misconception is that Gradguide is only for students, but I had been working for almost three years when I met Gemma and discovered Gradguide. From the 1:1 mentorship opportunities to the CV seminars, I can’t recommend Gradguide enough for anyone looking to transition into the world of tech!

I came to Gradguide looking for a career change and to enter the tech scene. As someone with no experience in this field I was unsure where to look and how to apply for jobs.
Gradguide took me through the process and acted quickly in finding out what I wanted and assigning me a mentor who has years of experience in the field I was trying to go in. This was very useful.
Now I have started a job that I love in a new city with an exciting, growing fintech company. I would highly encourage signing up to gradguide.

Gradguide helped me bridge the gap and land my first job in IT despite having no experience in the field. After applying to many different positions with little to no success a friend of mine recommended I try Gradguide. They were super quick to reach out and arrange a quick phone call to see what interests me and where I see myself. Fast forward a week or so later I had an interview they arranged for me and a mentor inside that company that helped me prepare and feel confident going in. Overall it took a month between contacting Gradguide and formally signing my contract. Kudos to the whole team, they were pleasure to deal with and have helped a tonne. I couldn't recommenced Gradguide enough after my experience over the last couple of weeks. As someone who wanted to get into sales and found it hard to bridge that gap between previous work experience and starting into sales I felt lost and out of my depth.
I reached out to Gradguide and was welcomed straight away by Mark and Dave who were extremely helpful and pointed me in the direction of some of the online features.

I had a couple of calls with Gemma to talk about my previous experience and where I wanted to go next in my career.

After that, Gradguide paired me up with a mentor. This was THE best experience I have had when trying to look for a job. I met with my mentor once a week over zoom and he walked me through how sales works, it’s pros and cons as a career, and how to succeed in sales. He helped me tailor my CV to apply for the jobs I was looking for. He also helped me prep for any interview I had. He gave me invaluable tips and tricks for interviews and dealing with certain situations and questions that may arise in interviews and beyond.

After just my second interview I was offered a job to kickstart my career in sales and I am absolutely delighted. I put a big part of this success down to the last couple of months of mentoring as it helped me to grow in confidence as well as leading to utilise the skills I had previously.

I would definitely recommend to anyone who has finished a degree or not (like me!) and wants to kickstart their career to look no further than Gradguide.

I have desperately applied for jobs for the past 6 months after graduation. Most of the companies turned down my applications while the rest gave no response. I didn't know the specific reasons behind such rejections.

When Anne from Gradguide told me about this mentorship, it was a port in a storm. Then, Gemma, her colleague, contacted me, went through my CV and recommended me some junior positions to start with. I did not know my background could be suitable for such positions in tech companies.

Gradguide staffs and mentors are super supportive, especially Colin Walsh. With more than 10 years of Customer Support and Relationship Management, he gave me an insight into the field. He gave feedback on my Linkedin profile and Resume. Besides, he shared with me the key competencies of the position and helped me prepare for my interview. That improved my performance much better in this interview, compared with the previous ones. I finally got an offer, the first one after 6 months !!

There are still a lot of papers and procedures needed before I become an official employee. Even so, I consider this offer as an accomplishment with great support from Gradguide.

Signing up to Gradguide was the best thing I ever did.
I applied to Gradguide on a Monday and morning and Gemma called me on that day which was amazing and was able to provide me with so much information for the roles I was looking for and provided me with tools for updating my CV which really was a game changer, in that before using Gradguide I was finding it difficult to get an interview I was applying for jobs and not getting to the first round of interviews, however using Gradguide, their tools and resources such as videos and presentations really helped me to improve my CV and I was getting through to the first round of many interviews. I was also assigned a mentor Lee and with both the help of Lee and Gemma they coached me in preparing for the interviews and I was successfully getting through to each of the next rounds thanks to their ongoing help and support. It is such a great service in that Gemma would ring or message me a few times a week to see how I was getting on. I could not recommend using Gradguide enough it was such a seamless process and so helpful and really is a great platform if you need help applying for jobs fresh out of college or like me I am doing a masters and working in Finance at the moment but I want to move into another industry and they were able to help me to do that. It really is an excellent process and such a great idea. It gave me the tools that I needed to get a new job and I could not be happier. After completing college in May 2021, I was finding it difficult to find a job and begin the job interviewing process. Before I started with Gradguide I was overwhelmed by the amount of companies and roles available online. It was very frustrating when I was looking through job applications and not knowing what the role would be like on a day to day basis. When I started with Gradguide they talked me through different roles and helped me realize that I would be a good fit for a Business Development Representative role in the Tech Industry.

I have had many phone calls with traditional recruiters in the past and found they were trying to fit a triangle into a circle space.
