I had an account with GotBackup and to be honest, I loved how easy it was to back up all my photos. Then my computer died. I asked if it were possible to restore my photos that I backed up from my PC (the one that died) to another completely new PC. The answer I got from them was a resounding YES. It turned out that was not true. You cannot back up from one device and restore it to another device. I lost everything.
I really need the storage as I take a lot of photos and I would like to join GotBackup again but I'm not sure I can trust the restore process.

The worst sign up experience ever. I tried to change my password I just created and the site will not let me - keeps giving me a new password - I can change the uswer name and I have not even paid for the system! What a joke

Hi,
I’ve been trying to reach out to Gotbackup? but in vain.
I had become a part of this Pyramid scheme through a friend and enrolled with my Credit Card.
Now I cannot afford to continue and want to opt out.
I’ve tried sending mail and even tried talking to their Customer Care on live chat.
Nothing seems to work.
I am trying to tell them that I'm currently not in a position to pay their monthly rental.
I am trying to cancel/delete my account, but they have locked me out and unnecessarily trying to debit my Credit Card repeatedly. Cheap and disgusting.
When I try to login to my account they are asking me to pay first, without giving me any other options.
Highly frustrating and don't know how to resolve this.
I wonder how many people are being scammed like me.
If they get to this feedback I hope they resolve this ASAP or else I will need to take some action.

I'm giving it a 1 star but only because this is as low as I could go I have been trying to make a payment to this sight since midnight last night it is now 6:11 pm the next day and they are still giving me grief about the cvv on the back this just ain't seeming like it's eorth it

La uso a diario para respaldar mis fotos, vídeos, documentos, etc. luego cuando quiero compartir información, es una maravilla porque subo una carpeta y la comparto con quien yo quiera. Las personas pueden acceder a esa carpeta y hacer lo que yo le permita: leer descargar editar, etc.

Por el momento todo, va bien, se instala y listo funciona, seguire comentado pasados los meses

please everyone dont save your important data with this cloud service, they claim that i signed up knowingly that after 90 days of missed payments, they will delete everything that you have. this is a criminal act what they did, that was my property, they did not reach out to me in any way shape or form. i have no emails or even physical letter mail to me that they will delete my account. it was a incident where my bank account was changed and they say they were not receiving payments.. whats strange is that up to last week i saved stuff to cloud.. now your saying you delete stuff after 90days. there story makes no sense.
Please everyone stay away from this company, keep your valuable information safe

Une belle m.....e pour être polie. Deux ans que je paie et jamais je n'ai eu de sauvegarde des documents sur mon pc, uniquement les fichiers de mon téléphone. Pire, j'ai fait une réclamation la deuxième année et personne ne m'a répondu : depuis plusieurs mois ! Maintenant mon pc est mort et j'ai tout perdu, je dois acheter un disque dur externe pour récupérer le tout ! Un comble !!! Et en plus comme si cela ne suffisait pas, impossible de résilier en ligne.... Pas possible d'ouvrir un ticket, et le chat met un message qu'ils sont off, j'ai fait toutes les rubriques je peux pas résilier moi-même !
