If you are looking for a job with incredibly supportive managers and continuous training guidance, goFLUENT is a wise choice. If you want scheduling stability and a steady stream of learners every day, it is an ideal work-from-home setup. goFLUENT also boasts a vast, diverse community of international professionals, making every class uniquely rewarding. Most importantly, I have been here for over a decade because goFLUENT offers true stability and peace of mind. It's a company that continues to grow, and it is here to stay!

I wanted to cancel a group lesson, but there was no cancellation option anywhere on the website. After contacting support, I was told that I could only cancel if the entire group agreed and if I emailed them at least 24 hours in advance with everyone copied on the email.

This is one of the most impractical and user-unfriendly cancellation policies I've ever encountered. Expecting every participant in a group course to approve a cancellation is unreasonable and completely out of touch with how online learning platforms normally work.

What's even worse is that the platform doesn't explain this clearly or provide any cancellation button, leaving users to search around the website and contact support just to find out they effectively can't cancel.

If you're looking for a flexible online learning platform, this isn't it. The platform design and cancellation policy make the experience unnecessarily frustrating.

If you want it to be even sharper while remaining credible, you could end with:

"A modern learning platform should make scheduling and cancellations simple—not impossible. I won't be recommending goFLUENT to anyone."

I've been with goFLUENT for many years, and overall it's been a very positive experience. The support provided to teachers is excellent. Everyone is always quick to respond, helpful, and professional whenever assistance is needed. Communication is clear, and we're kept up to date with best practices, teaching strategies, and any important changes, which helps us maintain a high standard of teaching.

I've also been fortunate to work with wonderful managers who are approachable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping their team succeed. The company provides a well-structured environment with excellent resources, comprehensive lesson guidance, effective digital whiteboard tools, and continuous professional support, making it easier to focus on delivering high-quality lessons to students.

Overall, it's a great place to work, especially for teachers who value strong support, clear communication, and professional standards.

The only area I'd love to see improve is greater recognition of long-term employees through more regular salary reviews. Aside from that, my experience has been very positive, and I would happily recommend goFLUENT to both teachers and students.

goFLUENT offers full remote work, allowing me to balance my work and personal life efficiently. There's so much flexibility in our schedules and wide global coverage that I've been able to meet people of different cultural and professional backgrounds. I don't only teach but also learn from the many different people I've met and the conversations we've shared. Internally, I have received valuable support, guidance, and encouragement from my manager over the years.

On top of these, goFLUENT also constantly upgrades the technology used for delivering lessons to make work more seamless. The company also offers a rich collection of grammar, business-related, and vocabulary resources; however, articles or videos on recent or updated topics and news are not that available, limiting the options of learners interested in them. Despite this, lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of the learners, so learning sessions remain relevant and worthwhile.

The staff is super friendly and helpful when onboarding and the communication is easy and straightforward.

The fact that you can determine your own schedule and work from anywhere in the world is a big plus as well

Experiences: I joined goFLUENT in 2007 and retired in 2021. At this time, I work on a consultancy basis as a language trainer. In those almost 19 years, I have witnessed the evolution of technology in our tools from gosoft to the goFLUENT portal with its enhanced features, notably the VCR, whiteboard and the access to Teams. They have have afforded to our learners and trainers alike, an enhanced and enriched learning experience. It has enabled me as a trainer to establish rapport with culturally diverse learners because we are often both at our home bases. The feeling of almost visceral immediacy, of actually inhabiting the same cyberspace, develops confidence in the trainer-learner experience.

However, this leap in technology necessarily comes with the baggage of tech failures and glitches, which, thankfully have diminished with time and are often thankfully resolved with the help of our ever-helpful Operating Services. The upside of these repeated tech failures is that they developed my adaptability to instinctively “switch” to crisis mode and persist in giving the lesson despite such difficulties.

Products: I greatly appreciate the richness of material in our teaching resources, notably the videos and the level-appropriate categorization of the material, making it easier for trainers to assign the most optimally useful resources for the learners. My only issue is that a number of resources are outdated and cannot be assigned due to their obsolescence. Nevertheless, I am grateful that many resources are directly targeted at management level issues and concerns that offer manager-learners a real-world and empowering feel of global business communication.

Management: My experience with management has been generally positive. I appreciate the support, kindness, and encouragement that management, especially my Training Managers, have offered me.

I love Gofluent. Their platform has made my learning journey a memorable and beautiful one. The platform is user friendly with a 24 hour support system to help you if you need anything.

I've really enjoyed my 1:1 language sessions. They're focused on real conversations and things I actually use, instead of just working through a textbook. The lessons are always interactive and tailored to what needs improving, which keeps them interesting. I've definitely become more confident speaking.

The only downside for me is that booking sessions with specific teachers isn't very intuitive at first. It took me a little while to figure out how it all works, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy enough to manage.

It is helping me so much. I am improving day by day. Especially the individual class helps alot.
