Econic were professional, knowledgeable and patient..educating me and my slightly hapless contractors ahead of our successful ASHP install.

I was very pleased with explanation of a rather complicated setup of air source heat pump, PVs, batteries, apps and controls, with the planning and execution all as promised.

Amazing company, proactive and collaborative with their resolves and general operations.

In addition to that a lovely group of people, both in the office and on site.

As a building firm we have collaborated with them for multiple projects and will be working with them on many more.

Christoph was more than happy to have a conversation whenever there was something I didn’t understand about the proposed Heat Pump installation, he was able to clearly explain the intricacies and help me make informed decisions about the setup. This was particularly helpful because of the of phased renovation we’re carrying out at our property, slowly switching from old radiators to under floor heating and adding insulation as we go.

Coco was great at communicating and very accommodating when we needed to push back our installation a couple of times! Andrew who carried out the initial heat loss calculation, visited in persons, shortly after the installation was complete, to explain how to use the thermostat display and best practice to ensure we are getting the best from the system.

The install team were professional and worked diligently so that we only had a few hours without hot water. The heat pump is running quietly in the background keeping us warm even in our un insulated Victorian House in bleak January!

I highly recommend Econic if you are ready to make the leap to an efficient Heat Pump.

Christoph, Andrew and the team have provided us with confidence throughout the process. They are clearly knowledgeable and very experienced in installing heat pumps. The assessment process and then the installation all went very smoothly. The installation team were respectful to the fact we had a three month old baby and were a pleasure to have around the house.

Most importantly our poorly insulated house has been made lovely and cosy by the heat pump without the need for any insulation upgrades. Bluntly if our house can be made cosy with a heat pump I suspect most can!

Lastly I would say that Christoph responded quickly to any queries and concerns we had.

Econic Energy are a breath of fresh air when it comes to trades people. I was impressed with the whole team from start to finish. Everyone is super nice, responsive and very hard working. They are keen to overcome any obstacles they may encounter and always with consideration for the customer and their home. The installation will always involve some disruption, however Econic do their utmost to minimise any inconvenience to the customer. Even after the heat pump has been installed, they are still responsive to any queries you may have. They seem to genuinely care about their customers and want them to get the best out of their heat pump.
Installing a heat pump is a big project - there are many installers out there and choosing one can be daunting. I decided to go with Econic after much research and recommendations and am so glad that I did.

Econic Energy recently installed my heat pump along with a new water boiler, and the entire experience was excellent. From the initial advice stage through to the final handover, the process was smooth and well-managed. The team was consistently responsive, reliable, and clear in their communication. You hear a lot about rogue heat pump installers, so I was always cautious but the installation itself was completed to a high standard, and I’m very happy with how the new system is performing so far. Overall, a professional service that I would confidently recommend.

Econic Energy has installed an air-source heatpump, solar panels and battery storage at our home, as part of a major retrofit project we were undertaking, and these systems were commissioned in August 2025. Econic Energy was recommended to us by someone in the business, and we finally selected them after receiving quotes from 4 suppliers. Econic came across to us as the most professional and knowledgeable of all those we approached, and they also arranged for us to visit one of their customer reference sites. We are very pleased with our installation and with the whole team at Econic, led by Christoph, who have been so helpful in answering our questions and giving us advice. Econic Energy was very accomodating when we had to delay the installation by a whole year due to problems with our overall retrofit building project. Working with Econic Energy has been a real pleasure. The ASHP and solar systems they installed are both working very nicely, and I can thoroughly recommend Econic Energy to anyone considering installing either an ASHP or a solar panel system.

Econic installed my ASHP in July but I have waited until heating has been required to write a review.
The whole process was very smooth start to finish. Econic were very flexible in accommodating my requirements and are very responsive. When I had to put off the installation at late notice for a couple of weeks they were able to move their jobs around to fit.
I am pleased with the physical install itself and the pump is working well for both hot water and now heat.
Econic also responded quickly after 3 months to repair gaps which had appeared in the external pipe insulation.

We had a fantastic service from the whole team. Christoph was very patient with all my questions and helped steer us to the right solution. The installation team worked wonders in a short space of time.

Christoph and team did what they said they’d do in installing our ASHP; when they said they’d do it, whilst adapting in real time to hiccups that emerged (eg locating correct piping sizes and locations). The business case looks good - we’re looking forward to seeing our SCOP (above 400%)

We were lucky enough to find Econic Energy after searching high and low for a good heat pump installer. We had been let down by another company and also had decided that Octopus's heat pump, whilst cheap, they would not cope with the complexity of the installation and the pump would be under-specified and wouldn't save us money on bills.

Our house isn't that well-insulated (we've done our best within reason), but after a formal home assessment (including an EPC certificate and a very efficient and comprehensive visit/heat loss survey by Andrew with a full report which was shared with us), we found we could have a Samsung 12kW heat pump. They also recommended replacing 6 radiators (less than we originally thought, which saved us money), an old, horizontal hot water cylinder (which they managed beautifully) as well as a 10kW battery - and their careful assessment helped assure us that the installation would be worthwhile - both for sustainability reasons but also financially.
We booked an install date for exactly when we wanted (and they gave us a date that was within 2 months!), and on days 1-5, the installation team turned up promptly at around 8am and were polite, thoughtful, efficient and tidied up after themselves. Jay and his team always did what was right, even if it meant they had to go the extra mile/spend a little bit longer, and the pipework is all beautifully neat and tucked away/insulated etc.
We had to have a small hiccup fixed with the battery integration - but Christoph and the electrician, Ramin, helped ensure it was sorted within a few days.

Although clearly a growing company, they have a personal touch, including responsive emails / telephone calls from Christoph and site visits by chief engineer Pradeep, before (for free, before we even committed to anything...), during the build process and after for an excellent handover in person.

Very happy with our gas-free hot water, the battery is charging brilliantly on a cheap Octopus night-time tariff and from the solar, and the heat pump is really really quiet (and gives quite a nice cool breeze when the weather is hot outside and it's heating our water!).... We also love the Fox and Homely apps, and are already seeing a significant drop in our energy bills - almost all our energy is on a cheap 7p/kWh tariff for summer (with 15p per kWh export tariff too), and in colder months we will switch to Octopus Cosy which will have three cheap times spread through day and night as our electricity use will rise.
Looking forward to a warm and cosy winter, with our new heat pump system! Thanks to Econic Energy... I can't recommend them highly enough. Happy to update after winter, but I have no qualms, as they really know what they're doing.

The team were prompt and came back to commission it when the under floor heating was completed. All the equipment was installed carefully except a row of switches which are not level.
Sadly the communication about what UFH equipment could be installed was not clear leading to us installing an additional pump that disquiet had to be removed.
