DO NOT USE GO ASSIST UK
I called go assist for a replacement glass (inner) door for my oven i was told the engineer would be out in 5 days with the glass and he would fit it, we paid £139 for the call out and was told we would be charged for the part separately, we had researched the cost of the part and knew it was approximately £50 so we agreed. The engineer arrived on the agreed day and told me he had to "assess" the problem before he could order any parts, this was 3 weeks before Christmas and 2 days before we were due to leave for 2 weeks away, when I explained that we where told he would bring the glass with him he said that's not how it works? I then received an email mail to say the price of the new glass was £249!!!! I told them I dont want it and wanted a refund as I felt strongly we had been misled, I called customer service who bbasitold me there was nothing they could do regarding a refund of the call out charge so I escalated my concern to a formal complaint and I've heard nothing....I will be going to the ombudsman but want to strongly advise others NOTBTO USE THIS COMPANY!!!
