I purchased an item from the website. It was my understanding that I had 15 days to try the product. What it doesn’t say is that 15 days starts when you purchase the product not when you receive it. I received the product on July 31 which left me with 7 days to trial. I was informed when I call to complain that they charged me to soon for their Premium service. I cancelled the service and got a refund.
FRAUD, haven't used and $200 stolen from checking.

On July 27th, 2022, Fixed came to my home to replace the compressor for my AC unit and charged me $1897.50. The compressor broke 3 months in November 2022 and Fixed came out 11/15/22 to check the unit. The technician said this was a common issue and explained that a faulty shipment was sent to them and telling me stories about shipments being dragged on the ground and that was caused of the bad compressors and that's why the compressors are now faulty. He said he will put in an order to get it replaced and because it's still under warranty and free of charge. The technician said that I will receive a phone call from them to schedule a time to replace the compressors. I was waiting for a call, but nothing happened, so I decided to call them to check on my status. The person on the other end told me that because I refused the work order they canceled the repairs. Well... that's a lie! I emailed Fixed and got it touch with Kristy Young. Her response was:
" I apologize for the confusion. While some of the information provided to you was correct, the compressor is under manufacturer warranty and will incur no charge to you for the part. However, you will be responsible for the labor to install it, and the freon that is needed to complete the replacement. That total is $1897.50. Please let us know if you would like to move forward with this repair.
Again, I do apologize that you were given incorrect information regarding what the compressor manufacturer warranty covers. We look forward to your response on moving forward with the repair. "
so now they want ANOTHER $1897.50 for a compressor that worked only for 3 months!!!! I just paid them $1897.50 in July. What kind of scam are they running!!!! What did I pay for in July when I received a new compressor, now it's broken, and they want to charge me the same amount they did 3 months ago. SCAMMERS!!! And when we call they keep hanging up on us now!

HORRIBLE COMPANY - DO NOT USE THEM. I've been with fixd for several years, and tolerated the poor communication, ever changing schedules, and poorly qualified technicians when I do receive service. Today I have an HVAC problem, contacted fixd, and was told my agreement was cancelled, WITHOUT COMMUNICATION TO ME, due to "Cinch" purchasing fixd – a pathetic self incriminating excuse to reveal to a client. I expended hours this morning trying to have my agreements renewed, but total failure from customer service at three different management levels. So here I am in the summer heat of Texas, with a TOTALLY 100% FAILED company. I had my main home and 3 rental properties with fixd, all contracts terminated without communication, and I'm going to leave it that way. HORRIBLE COMPANY – FIND A COMPETENT LOCAL CONTRACTOR INSTEAD
CINCH Home Warranty is a big NO for me.
I've had FIXD repair for the last few years (I believe 3), and while it was FIXD, everything was great. App worked which made submitting a request fast and easy. People answered the phones and emails were responded to in a timely manner - as a customer focused company should behave.
But then - along came CINCH. They acquired FIXD, and immediately everyting changed. The app stopped working. Calls in to customer service were met with very long holds times. The website chatbot most days is offline. Emails go unanswered.
Earlier this year in January 2022 we had an appliance that self destructed mid use. There was a loud pop - the house breakers blew - and after resetting the breakers, the appliance was dead. After struggling through the hassles of contacting FIXD/CINCH we finally got a tech out who identified the appliance needed a new electronics board and indicated they would order the part. Shortly thereafter - the claim was denied due to "normal wear and tear". Thats funny, first, Cinch thinks some sort of an electrical short is Normal wear and tear? And Secondly, if you read on the Shop CINCH Home Warranty site where they are trying to sign you up - they clearly indicate that normal wear and tear IS COVERED. SO which is it? Irrespective, I contact FIXD/CINCH and for the next 4 months they give me an ongoing run around claim they are reviewing and escalating the issue to help me get it fixed.
Well, guess what - my policy expires today. In 4 MONTHS time (January through April) - speaking with agents, emailing, etc - you would think there would be a better answer. NOPE. So I call FIXD today, again. Sat on the phone for 45 minutes - no one ever answered. Chatbot is offline - no one monitoring there. I finally gave up and hung up. In this day and age - who has time to sit on hold like that? It's terrible service.
Final say - The combined FIXD/CINCH is horrible. I would not recommend them to a single person due to the litany of customer serivice issues and denial of my claims. I also feel like when CINCH took over, my policy and coverage shrank - but, I wouldnt really know because I cant actually get through to report any issues.
Dont waste your money. Talk to a friend and get a referral to someplace with better service. When something breaks in your home - your warranty should be there to help out, not cause you additional pain.

If I could give 0 stars I WOULD! Their app is useless - you cannot renew your contract through it.... you can't find a phone number to call them. Now they are part of Cinch which seem even more disorganized -- these people are disorganized beyond belief..
I am cancelling my coverage with these clowns and I STRONGLY suggest you all do the same before you may have a claim and they can't find YOU in their mess of a database.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR SERVICE!!!!

Fixd came out to repair my commode and the repair person, Manual, was very thorough and explained everything that he was doing and he did not take a long time in getting the job done. Also, the admin staff was very good in informing me and following up on my appointment schedule. The service people arrived at the time that they said they would. Good around for Fixd!!!

Well I don’t even know where to begin. My new AC that was installed in 2021 took 8 months to fix. The tech who came out finally got approval to fix what was a new AC. I believe somewhere towards the end of 2021.It worked for a few weeks then quit working. I requested the tech who came out and fixed AC.
I was lucky enough that he showed up and when he did he immediately realized that the system had no coolant. He had to order parts to get it fixed.
It seems that the original installers who came three days after the new install to fix his mess caused the sealed pipes to rupture. Yep when he climbed in the closet of the AC and shook it back and forth he must have broken the seals in a sealed system.
The cinch tech was able to get the part and get it going again. 8 months of pure frustration and dealing with the cinch people for a new AC install that was completely screwed up. In all honesty I don’t think it will last very long 10k will be lost. Right now in Jan 2022 AC making a strange sound. Not even a year old. Can someone please refer me to a good lawyer. My health heart have payed a toll they should just reinstall a whole new system. I’m sure the compressor won’t hold up since it took a month to run dry of it’s chemical. The tech who eventually fixed it finally could not believe how bad it was installed. I truly lost faith in this company and the installers who put my system in. They have caused much stress and grief as well as affected my health which has taken a toll. Also here it is Jan of 2022 and I’ve called repeatedly to have my AC tuned. 5 weeks called once a week and finally have someone scheduled for Jan 15.2022. I’m afraid to even have them check my system. My wife has been instructed to get an attorney should my health continue to deteriorate.
Even though it finally got fixed it took one of there techs to fight for me for what was right. After only 3 days with a new installed AC and a bad install which the original installer declared out loud to me. They were not going to warranty the AC repairs. 8 months is not a reasonable time to get it fixed. And still have problems. I still have the emails where they wrote to me indicating it was not covered. Wow the stress after heart surgery put me to the limit. Here today I still deal with our bad install AC wondering when will it eventually break down completely. Especially the compressor since it ran with no coolant. Stay away get a reputable company stay away so that you won’t have issues such as mine…..

Will not honor their warranty, and do terrible work.
I had Fixd replace a broken water heater in may of 2020. I chose them because they promised a six year warranty on the water heater and the install.
TLDR: Called to have them honor their warranty, after days of no communication, or hot water, they refused.
TLDR 2: It wasn't the water heater, it was the workmanship in the installation.
Saturday, October 16th, my water heater broke, and leaked all over my basement. Kind of irritating, but having had it happen before, I was able to handle it. I called Fixd, but they don't answer the phones on the weekend, and I tried leaving a voicemail, but their service cuts you off at the end of a message. I emailed tech support, and they responded on Monday.
Monday morning, I called and talked to them, they said they would look into it. I called again monday evening to see what was going on, and I was told the call was 'escalated'.
Tuesday came around and I called asking what was going on, and was told it was still under review and I'd get a call back.
Wednesday came, and I called in the morning. Talked for a while with one of the employees while she tried to find out why I didn't get a call back, or a decision made. She escalated it again, talked to her supervisor, talked to his supervisor, then told me they'd get back to me. I called again Wednesday evening and they said they wouldn't honor the warranty, but if I wanted, I could put in a request for a quote on a retail replacement.
Looks like I'm going to have to take this up with state licensing associations, and take them to small claims. Thankfully, I have all the documentation, correspondence, and phone recordings.
I would not recommend them to do home improvement, unless you are a fan of wasting time and money. They use local contractors to do the work that you could just as easily find yourself.
Edit: Fixd reached out to me to let me know they couldn't find my warrenty information, but would be happy to schedule a retail visit. I had another plumber come in, and they said that the water heater was fine, it was just installed poorly, and not up to code. Because of the installation, it was leaking in a manner that appeared like the heater was broken. They fixed it up in less than an hour.
So, in conclusion, not only will Fixd Repair not honor their warranty, not only are they slow to respond, but they do shoddy workmanship.

4+ months and still waiting. Unresponsive customer support and scheduling
This is regarding job 136943. I have been waiting for a pool filter repair since April 2021. It is now the end of August. The part was on order for several months, but now that the part has been received, I have been waiting on scheduling for the past month.
Every time I contact Fixd, I am told scheduling will reach out to me (at least 5 times now) but I never hear back.
The company's phone support number does not connect to anything (it loops back to the main menu endlessly) and I am forced to use the online chat or email. The latest customer service rep I chatted with today even told me the order does not exist and referred me to another completed order. I'll quote: "That was Job# 131950. Check the notes". As if I can do that???
The responses all direct responsibility to the scheduling department, which I have not heard anything from despite multiple requests.
Fixd has been good for several repairs during the few years we have used them, but this latest experience has been extremely frustrating and I cannot recommend them due to their poor customer support and follow-up.
update 8/27: Fixd contacted me shortly after this review went up and scheduled someone to come out and install the damaged part on 8/25. Unfortunately, the part they ordered was the wrong one.
I later got a call from someone at Fixd asking if I'd like a settlement for the job. At the same time, they claimed I had not paid for several previous jobs (which I have paid for, and have receipts for), reducing the settlement amount significantly.
The Fixd employee I spoke with said he would have his manager send me information about the settlement that afternoon (2 days ago). Asked how I could contact him directly, the response was "no you can't, but ask customer service to pass me a message." Disappointing, and inquiries through customer service today indicate they have little willingness or ability to ask for a callback or escalate this issue appropriately.
At this point, I am engaging legal counsel as this whole situation falls under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act: refusal to repair or replace defective parts, failure to perform paid-for repairs, failure to perform contracted services.

I received FIXD with home purchase. Called for service and they forced me to allow them to record my credit card number or said they could make no repairs. They scheduled an appointment I took the day off work for and no show. A day later I got an email saying I needed to contact the vender personally to make an appointment. Now they are hassling me w/ 5 emails a day saying they need payment. WHY RECORD MY CC NUMBER IF NOT GOING TO USE IT. I PAID BUT I AM BEGGING THEM FOR A PRO RATED REFUND OF MY CONTRACT. Love American Home Shield or Old Republic. Both have been fantastic. Hate FIXD

THE WORST we've been waiting since July…
THE WORST we've been waiting since July 7 -one month- for our dryer heater element to be FIXED. Save you money and go with an established company who doesn't charge extortion money for faster service, and only can order parts directly from the manufacturer (because THEY get a discount) that never come. The local appliance store has the part in stock, but FIxd can't seem to get hold of one. This is after taking 3 months for a previous dryer repair because they could get the part. We've asked 3 time to talk to a supervisor, but apparently this company doesn't have supervisors. Fixd is broken!

Is there an option for negative stars?? Non functioning AC in Phoenix. Called on Wednesday (7/28). Appointment for today (Friday 7/30). After staying home from work it was found an appointment is just a request, not a guarantee anyone will show up?? AC that doesn't work in the Phoenix heat isn't just inconvenient, it's dangerous. This company is horrible. They want your money but don't expect any service. They probably don't send techs out on the weekend and temps are forecasted to be around 108 next week so not much hope of relief at this point.
Update 8/1- Still no technician from Fixd. The heat is unbearable so a competent AC repair company had to be called and paid for out of pocket. They were able to put a bandaid on it for now but only a matter of time before it goes out again. The unit needs to be replaced. This is exactly why one gets insurance and why the premiums were paid. With temps in Phoenix now forecast for 110 next week I suppose Fixd is hoping one just gives up and takes out a loan to replace it so they don't have to pay. This company is a scam.

7/8 - technician came, he needs to order the blower
7/14 - technician came to install the part, wrong part.
He stated that management doesn’t allow that he goes 1-hour drive to get part and 1- hour back to install it because he has other jobs too. This is not correct or fair toward us. Other appointments should be moved and put a higher priority on my situation.
Signed to approve work order.
The technician stated he will come tomorrow or his colleague.
7/15 - technician never came
7/16 - called support, the first agent
he is stating why I didn’t call to schedule an appointment,
he doesn’t have it in the system,
very rude, blaming me.

Chris can send emails to me now and call me.
Chris apologized.
Chris cannot provide email and phone because of personal reasons per his words.
He can send emails from the system, but email is for internal communication. Same as for the phone.
I advised Chris to look at this case form 15 ago late and not late from today.
I advised Chris to pick up the phone, call, organize calendar meetings.
In the system is now, that when I call the agent I can ask for Chris directly.
Chris stated per company policy they have timer to provide update after 48 hours.
Very bad phone quality, even I have great reception on my side, it looks they need to invest in infrastructure.
We are at the same page, Chris is waiting from another department response, but over the phone there is no action to get better response.

Freon leaking from AC but service technicians can't seem to fix it.
A Fixdrepair contractor installed my new AC unit last year in August 2020. The system has been leaking freon since the original install. Fixdrepair has sent technicians over 4 times in the last 3 months to fix the leak, each time the technician filled my AC with freon but it leaked out again. The last technician claimed to have found the leak and patched it but it leaked out 4 days later. *************Update 09/13/2021 - Still waiting for AC issue to be resolved. I have gone the majority of the summer without AC. The freon has consistently leaked out each time the system has been charged. The last time the system was charged I could visibly see an oily liquid dripping down the AC line.

A month later, still no AC
6/12- I submitted a request that my AC was leaking.
6/18- they came out and said I needed a new drip pan. (rescheduled twice).
6/29- two tech came out to install the new drip pan and not even 15 mins after they left was the issue worse than before. I called them back immediately to come fix the issue. They taped up the job and said it was now a drainage issue and I would need a condensation pump. questioned on why there was a problem with the pipe if that was not the original issue and that the drip pan was. They then told me there was nothing else they could do for me.
7/1- I message support asking the status they told I should have received a quote for an Upgrade. I ask what upgrade I was getting, and he proceed to tell me that my unit has a problem with the condensation pump and its not covered under my warranty. I said my AC never had a condensation pump, and I should not be responsible for adding a part to “upgrade” the system since they can't figure out the original issue.
7/2- I message support again to provide me more details on why a condensation pump was needed. They said because it would not drain properly. I then wrote that it is apparent that I do not need additional parts for the AC system to work properly and that the existing parts need to be fixed. In which I also provided pictures that show where there was a slit in the piping which was the reason why it was not draining.
7/6 & 7/8-Reached out again asking the status of the job along with more pictures
7/9- they contacted me saying they didn't know why the tech said I needed condensation pump.
7/10- Another tech came out, put more tape on it (didnt fix it).
7/14- Another tech came out, put more tape (didn't fix it). I went back through all the pictures and the original first tech did not install all the parts for the drip pan which is now causing more issues. I then submitted another request.
It has been over a month since the first request and I guarantee it will be another couple of weeks before the issue is fixed.

Well 6 weeks have gone by I waited a week for fixed to get back to me and nothing. I called cinch today July 12,2021 and again reached out for help. The people at cinch this time could not believe I was still trying to get my ac fixed. She got me a service call and a number of company to confirm they were coming out. I again explained what my major problem was and she assured me it would be addressed. I also advised about the tech who came out and wrote up the mess on my ac. We hung up and I called the number given.
The tech answered and I advised him about confirming my work request. As I was speaking to him he said “hey I was the guy who went out to your house” he said he did not have authorization to fix it. He said he submitted the work order and it got denied. I advised him that if he was coming out and he knows whst the problem is and can not fix it then why is he coming out? He agreed and was very sorry for the bad install. I asked him not to come out if he want going to repair the work. Again he agreed. I thanked him and called cinch again. They are going to call me tomorrow with supposedly a resolution now going on 7 weeks. I also got a message from someone from fixed they apologized for the bad service and said they were looking into it. All I want is my ac fixed that is now 4 or 5 months old. I’ll update again tomorrow
