Scam company
This company registered many domains for the recent Myanmar-based fraud ring. The crimes probably started in 2022. They are still ongoing. There are about 400 of them. Most of these domains were registered by Gname. I was able to check with just my smartphone. I warned Gname many times but they didn't stop. I was instructed by Gname to enter the domains one by one into the complaint form and provide evidence. Perhaps Gname knew about these crimes. Gname prioritized its own interests.
--Update--
I sent an email to complaint and got a reply from Gname telling me to fill out their abuse form. The email clearly stated that reporting abuse via email would not be accepted.I have to enter each of these scam domains one by one and provide evidence. This is a good way to stop victims from reporting the abuse.
Gname also had several mechanisms in place to make it easier for criminals to register fraudulent domains.
1. Domain owners are free to change the country in which their domain is registered.
2. Domain registrants can pay fees to Gname in cryptocurrencies.
These things may be advantageous for registering fraudulent domains, but they are an unnecessary system for registering legitimate domains.
Gname uses customer IDs to manage customer information. So why couldn't they manage a customer who had registered about 400 fraudulent domains?
What is the Gname Abuse Form for? Is it just to put abusive domains on domain hold?

They are registering fraudulent sites for brands that do not exist no questions asked and when we are filing a complaint the process is well respected, requesting all bunch of papers (trademark/copyright certificate and declaration/power of attorney...).
And this is going on for more than a year now!

GNAME hosts multiple abusive, scam, and phishing websites. I personally believe that the process for reporting an abusive website is intentionally inconvenient, as their business relies heavily on these fake websites registered by scammers. When submitting an abuse report via email, you typically receive a response within two days instructing you to submit your complaint through their website URL. Once there, you need a code that is sent to your email, which can take several hours to arrive.
Overall, this company should be shut down for its poor ethical practices in the industry.

'pull the rug' after tempting w/ $ for a fake job as they try and get a couple grand out of you settling for less and less and prommising to 'make you right'. Offering to pay 70% of a 1500 fee. That would still take me from 800 to 1200 ripped off. They sure want 1 more payment. It's funny and sad.

Removed website after trust pilot review
Scammers are impersonating our website and brand, we opened a complaint on gname.com, provided evidence and supplementary evidence as was requested. But since then we have not heard anything and the complaint is still open without any response or resolution. It appears that gname is happy to host scam sites that steal money from people and damage reputations of other businesses.

After leaving this review, gname have now taken down the website I reported.

If you have been scammed or contacted by a company operating a site that looks like bitopdyor .com or geminicixk .com and complained to Gname - please send me an email at m @ businessventure .com - if Gname has not responded to your warnings and kept these sites up, I would imagine that there is a possibility that a class action lawsuit could be taken against them. I understand that they are only a registrar/host and have no involvement in any scams that are run from their domains or namespaces, but if they are not taking appropriate action to take these sites down when warned, then they could be indirectly responsible for people’s losses. This is what I want to find out. If they have acted incompetently, there may be a case for action. So if you have been defrauded by either of the domain names above or any others with sites that look like the sites on these domains or very similar AND complained to Gname and the site is still up, please email me asap and let’s see what we can do together to ensure nobody else is defrauded and hopefully recover some of not all of our money from Gname. The provider rents out various domains to scammers and reacts to abuse reports with ridiculously high requirements in order to take action. It is probably no coincidence that almost all reviews here are related to this.

I've contacted them multiple times in many different ways over the past 2 months and they haven't done anything about the scammers using my business name, logo, and business name in the website URL to claim they are us. These people are phishing using Indeed and Whatsapp to scam innocent people out of thousands of dollars and aren't doing a damn thing to keep this person from making more and more fake domains.
I'll be naming them in our lawsuit and ensuring everyone else on here is proven right that this company does nothing to assist with internet scam artists.
