​This platform operates with a deceptive fee structure. I was immediately hit with a $7 "participation fee" that they claim is standard. It is not standard—it is a non-refundable charge just to join an auction, even if you never place a bid or win anything.

They were quick to respond, research, assist and resolve the issue.

They charged me without any reason.

Took part in auction and didn't won it. But they deducted $7 from my account. I asked for refund but they refused. I don't understand why they charge me even when I didn't win that auction.

The abuse department provides the phishers with 3 days for corrective action.

Then, the phishers just time the re-verification of the phishing by the abuse department and turn off the website right before it. And then activate it again, after the report is dismissed.

This way, phishing can live for weeks. The support doesn't care and points to the abuse form, that was already filled and just asks for it to be refilled.

There is a major flow in the process, unless it is intentional. And some of the other reviews seem to be fake...

Gname responded well, fast, in time and provided excellent support on a potential fraudulent case, related to a site they hosted. Well done, much appreciated, thanks a lot.

They protect criminals making phishing attacks.

I bought the domain, payment went through but they never delivered. "We will check, we will take a look, we are solving the issue, bla bla..." but they never delivered the domain I paid for.

Talking with support they say i wait 24 hrs and in the morning they state that there was no order placed.

Absolutely feel ransomed by Gname. It was our church charity website domain which ran out as we were in the process of transferring to another host. When I came to know that one of the clients from Gname bought it and he is asking me to be prepared to pay more than $200 to get it back. I think there should be a legislation on this. But I guess this is life. We are just a small independent charity I guess I’ll have to take another domain. What a shame!

They seem untrustworthy

I recently opened an account on Gname.com and participated in two domain auctions. Despite not winning, my account was unfairly charged $14. As someone who regularly buys auction domains on platforms like GoDaddy, NameJet, and DropCatch, I have never faced such a policy — they only charge after a successful win. This pre-charge system is highly disappointing and feels misleading. I strongly advise domain investors and buyers to stay away from Gname, as there are far more transparent and trustworthy platforms available.

I appreciate GName's responsiveness to addressing and taking down urls of shady users. I've needed their help on various occasions and they've been consistent in providing a timely response so I'll take that as an indication of their overall customer service experience.

I reported a few websites to Gname over a month ago...the sites are still active. Two reviews were taken down within an hour because we didn't respect I don't know what (although they were totally justified). I re-edited the third review 5 days ago and it hasn't been published by Trustpilot yet...You draw your own conclusions...

I won the auction and after they asked for 250usd extra fee to release the domain. Then I also lost the 7usd deposit they asked when did the auction because I didn’t pay the extra fee within 48 hours. Also transaction fees are 0.5-3.9% for credit card.

I feel relaxed to know that the websites is on hold but still I am not getting my money back. If any help can be done in this matter I will be greatfull to the team of game.

I have complained in cyber crime but still they are not able to recover my money. Only the game team can help in this case.

The first two websites set-up by Gname in my company name have gone but straight away another Gname website is opened (webbtechdata.com) the scam continues… As previously Gname's abuse report system does not function and they allow the same person to set up a website a day later, so one can only assume they are part of the scam.
