Complete and total scam. Deceptive marketing that say they’ll cover anything but then deny all claims. If any lawyers are looking for a slam dunk class action just get them to discovery and compare their marketing to their claims responses.

Of course the response below uses tears as examples. Why not stains? Because their ad says it “covers all stains” and they can’t defend themselves. We were not “using the table as a chew toy”. It got a stain which was promised to be covered.

TOTAL SCAM! Please read if you wish to join in on my lawsuit against this fraudulent insurance company.

Summary: I purchased 5 year coverage on my sofas upon purchase & within 1 year my dog damaged one of the cushions.

Following the policies instructions, I made a claim and going through the never-ending circus of questions & requests, they finally ruled they would replace the couch, due to the color I have being discontinued. That was in May 2023....it is now March 2024 and NOTHING!

I never received the replacement couch as they promised & I have followed up 7 times between May 2023 & March 2024, radio silence.

After reading deeply into all of the negative reviews, I am confident I am not the only customer this company has scammed/defrauded. I am moving to engage my attorney to go after this company. They collected the premium and failed to perform by the contract we both as parties are bound to. This is absolutely a FRAUDULENT company!

Please contact me (phone & email below) if you wish to join in on the lawsuit I will be bringing against Mulberry, should you be a victim of this companies fraudulent actions. They cannot do business like this and continue to evade.

The support team handled my claim very quick and efficient.

This company I believe is a scam. My protection plan clearly states that my product is covered by pet stains. After submitting pictures and writing about what happened, 2 days later on a Friday at 4:30pm I get a request for additional information. I can not get a hold of anyone in customer service. I paid good money for this item and I was never told this was a third party insurance company. I really feel like this is a scam and reading the reviews I think my suspicion if accurate. Make sure to read the reviews about third party vendors. These people are just out to get your money and not give you the services you pay for. If you see that Mulberry is the protection company for your merchandise. Do your research and if you can insure your product with a different company if possible.

I just figured out how to use it and I can see that its kind of Great.

Mulberry is impossible to get a hold of. They seem to be designed to avoid customer interaction. The vendors they work with for service and cleaning are professional and proficient but also designed to avoid customer interaction and will relegate you back to your unreachable insurance provider when you contact them directly. The whole thing feels scammy.

Quick response time when we had to put a claim on a SideTrak that we ordered. Placed the claim on Thursday and it was confirmed for a full replacement on Tuesday. Thank you!

The zipper on one of my couch cushions ripped. Should be a pretty straightforward fix, right? WRONG. In the past year, two "technicians" came to our house to look at the cushion and assured me we would get a new one. We have been waiting since last Fall and NOTHING. This is a SCAM!

How many hoops! Remember to make sure you want to sign up for unending hoops. They advertise quick resolution - lie. Started claim in January, submitted all docs and photos and more photos, and more docs. Now they want to send someone to my house to confirm the dogs accident is real. Enough already. Unfortunately, the process is hidden in the fine print.

A scam! Terrible customer service. Took almost 3 months to get a stain issue resolved. I ended up fixing it myself. They take weeks / months to reply. My other issue “wasn’t under warranty”. Terrible customer service. Don’t waste your money and time.

Filed a claim with Mulberry early 2023 and they handled the claim swiftly. Since then, not sure if they have had a change in management or what, but the second claim I've filed has been dealt with HORRENDOUSLY. Filed the claim in Nov and NO RESPONSE from the team despite numerous emails sent. No phone number or live chat so there's no way of reaching out to them. Complete scam.

Horrible, nonexistent customer service. I’ve sent over 17 emails and they don’t respond back. They don’t have a live chat anymore and they don’t even have a generic customer service phone number to reach anyone. Buyers beware or stay away from this company.

It has been one month since a repair service technician came to review our claim and report back to Mulberry. Since then I have heard nothing from Mulberry regarding a resolution of our claim, despite several followup emails and claims chats submitted to the company. There is no phone number to call and they are not responding to my messages or providing any followup communication. At this point I am going to report them to the BBB as a fraudulent company and also reach back out to Apt2B who advertised their services to us and report their inaction as well. I will update my review should matters change.

A complete scam. I knew right away when I was pushed to the side for months with no reply. I kept hounding them, this went on for over 4 months. I finally received a new email this Jan 2024 claiming it was “verbatim” (yet there’s no actual email, no receipt, just the claim they sent it in Sept, a month before 2 more emails went out to them) that my claim wouldn’t be met because the damage was due to normal use. When that’s exactly why I put in a claim, it’s not normal wear, it’s in fact a ruined rug from normal vacuuming. The insurance was supposed to cover everything even pet damage that was the whole purpose of getting it. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother getting this insurance!

I submitted a claim several months ago and have not received a response. I have an insurance plan for my sectional couch although it appears to be useless as it's impossible to contact someone from Mulberry.

I don't understand what other people who wrote positive reviews have gotten out of this.

Mulberry misrepresented the laptop warranty I bought, thinking it would cover the $2000 laptop in full. When it broke, they said it was only covered for $180. I wrote them asking for clarification. And like many MANY others looking for support, I got NO response.

I never would have bought, and placed my trust in, a plan that only covered 10% of the cost of my laptop.

I love Mulberry Tech! Easy filing system and reasonable response times. You can protect any miscellaneous thing you own (read the list on their site) for a convenient price. Definitely recommend.

Horrible experience with Mulberry just like a bunch of other reviewers had. Submitted a ticket in November, but they refused to cover it although the accidental stains are covered under my plan. I followed up multiple times but never got an answer. I even reached out to Castlery where I purchased my couch and the insurance plan. They have been trying to help me but still no answer from Mulberry as of November 2023. Guess their business model is to charge for insurance but never provide the services they are obligated to provide. Looking into submitting a complaint on BBB. Very disappointing

Honestly, I’m quite upset that I have purchased over 15 plans from this company and you can never get a hold of them. Have to threaten to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau just to get the one response and that’s after all several attempts. And typically the response is to close the case!

I purchased Mulberry protection for a portable monitor, I never thought I would end up needing the protection but unfortunately my item had a malfunction and I needed to see my options.The Mulberry team provided me very prompt and excellent service. I was able to make my claim through the automated portal, a representative followed in 1-2 days for any missing items, and then my claim was put through. That simple. Thanks Mulberry!
