Same story here - I'm a Yotta user who had a "high interest" account with an Evolve Bank account and routing number and was told they have $0 of my money. This bank is acting very shady. They've said things on the record in the court hearings (which is public record) and then a couple weeks later said something completely different as well as having the nerve to say they didn't say what is on the record (on paper and audio). Many millions of peoples hard earned money is gone and people are losing their homes, cars, etc., and Evolve continues to deny they have any responsibility for the money we all believed would be going into the accounts we put them in which was in their bank.

Yotta user here, Evolve bank is terrible.
Same story as the rest of the 1 star reviews, just wanted to make sure I documented my complete dissatisfaction with Evolve Bank on every level of this mess.

Run as fast as you can. They have stolen thousands of dollars from customers and refuse to return it. They have the audacity to say they see that they owe me close to 7k, but are only giving me 0.11 cents

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT bank with Evolve Bank and Trust. Mishandled funds, lost or stolen (Yotta/Synapse/Evolve case). Returning to users pennies on the dollar. Possible fraudulent or criminal activity within.

Lost 3k dollars. Do not trust these people.

I had $2,300 deposited with them. In May, they froze my access to it. After more than 6 months, they sent me an email letting me know I’d be getting less than $200 back, and that they had lost the rest to the “ecosystem.” I’ve submitted an appeal which they ignored.

Would rate zero stars if I could. They lost millions of dollars from end users. Anyone lucky enough to actually be getting back the full amount they’re owed has been waiting for weeks for an ACH transfer that we were told was sent out that first week. Turns out they didn’t even initiate the transfers until a couple of days ago, right before the weekend. The stress of being without my money that was SUPPOSED to be safe with them has quite nearly ruined my life. They are completely unsympathetic and continue to insist none of this is their fault.

Do not use Evolve for banking services. Over the past year they have proven their inability to keep user data safe (having it leaked to unknown parties) and their inability to keep track of customer funds. Thousands have lost money that evolve had but claim they sent to other banks. Evolve, of course, refuse to give details of where teh money was sent. No statements provided.

Very shady bank. CEO also seems to have a history of shady dealings.

Steal money from customer, trash bank

Somehow have lost $10 million dollars from thousands of yotta and Juno members. Now named in class action lawsuit which can get searched in Reddit. Do not bank with these ppl

Evolve Bank & Trust leaked my data to hackers and “lost” 96% of the funds I had deposited in a checking account. Their customer service is not responsive and can not provide any useful information. I hope the feds shut them down soon.

someone opened an acount in my name in ar and my retire pay for 1 nov went there instead of where it was supposed to go customer serice can ot tell me balance in the fraudlent acount an saaid it would return money to dfas so it ould go in the right aount do not undersatnd how someone ould open aan account online with out proving id in person or otherwise send opy of id to tam bank says it will return money to dfas as soon as investigation is complete in mean time my finaances are shot do not trust this bank period as i beleive they are in on scam or someone working there

Horrible experience. Was lied to about my funds being safe and they are refusing to give me back my money. They told me to submit an appeal on their website that was not working, it is ridiculous. I’ve waited months patiently for them to resolve their reconciliation, but have lost all trust in them.

Absolutely god-awful bank. They do NOT care about consumers-- they care about lining their pockets. They owe me eight and a half THOUSAND dollars, of which they have agreed to pay me none.

I bank with these guys by no choice. I’m an Uber driver and I get paid directly through my Uber Pro Card and they are my bank. I recently made a purchase online, 1 item was out of stock so for the inconvenience they refunded me first the socks, which werent out of stock. Interesting how the item that was in stock that got shipped but refunded due to the inconvenience was refunded, but the original money for the shoes is still in limbo, its pending under my transactions and I cannot dispute it… yet. I called this bank, was on hold for a half hour first trying to talk to someone, and they told me pending transactions have up to 9 business days to clear. Complete bs and an excuse for them to hold onto our money.

DO NOT TRUST!! 65 to 95 million dollars stolen from yotta accounts holders by evolve Bank and (don't) trust.

My account was breached and brought to a zero balance. I reported the transaction to Evolve bank and within a week they declined my claim and suggested I contact the merchant. There is no merchant listed and I requested more information on the transaction and they refuse to help. They do not act professionally , do not care about your money and have no true answers.

Evolve has frozen access to the thousands of dollars I have in my account, and offered no assurance or timeline of any release at all. On top of that they allowed my personal information to be leaked, and waited two months to inform me about it. Stay far far far away from this institution, you would be better off banking with an actual dumpster.

Evolve has over $7,000 of my money. Complete with an account number and routing number but they don’t have records to prove they have it? How are they even considered a bank if they don’t keep records of their accounts?

Since Jan 2023 I have used a evolve account with account number and routing number through fintech Yotta. Evolve bank has frozen acounts since May. Evolve has lied directly to me and given me contradictory statements. They are taking months to unfreeze mine and thousands of other fintech end users money. I have $xx,xxx stuck in an account held at evolve, because of evolves lack of proper record keeping and reconciliations still no end in sight. Do not use this bank. Untrustworthy bank.
