Everything about this product and company is a con. Yes scam scam scam. The owners / directors need to tracked traced and jailed. I believe the scale for this lot should be -5. Nothing advertised about the product is honest and the follow up support is a disgrace.Ir you can find it. Here is a start as far as I have got try "checkout ekommmedia.com faq".
You may have to deactivate your security barrier (anti virus) to get past a warning message.

I have been deceived purchasing this article.

I bought this 'miracle' heater in the hopes of saving money on my heating bills. I paid the somewhat expensive price of £49.99 for the item. The second time I used it, one of the plug pins broke off in the socket, rendering the heater AND the socket unusable!

That was bad enough, but worse was to come: After carefully examining the packaging the heater came in I was dismayed to discover that there was NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER on what to do or whom to contact in the event of problems. I concluded that I had a £50 piece of junk and shoved it into a cupboard.

Fast-forward to Tuesday 22nd September and I'm surfing the web when I, inadvertently, stumble across an advert for.... yes, the super-duper piece-of-junk heater that was occupying space in a cupboard.

Naturally I wasted no time in emailing getecowarm and explained - in detail - what had happened to the heater and the difficulties I'd experienced in trying to find someone to contact about it.

Within 24-hours I received the same sort of email as everybody else, citing the 30-day rule and their t's & c's! I was not having that and I shot-off an extremely strongly-worded reply suggesting that getecowarm were operating a classic scam (offering a 'too-good-to-be-true' product at an enviable price and sending out a poor quality item that fails to work or ceases to work within a short timeframe, with no means to claim a refund/replacement) and that the company and its employees (if there IS a company and employees, that it!) are the scum of the Earth. I have yet to receive a response.

I am not one to take this sort of event laying down. I intend to contact my local Trading Standards office and advise them of this scam. I URGE EVERYONE WHO HAS SUFFERED TO DO THE SAME. These people will not be stopped unless we make it happen. The first step towards that aim is to alert the relevant authorities of what is happening.

I bought this in December. It worked for a few weeks until the beginning of March then it just packed up. An absolute waste of money!

The heater ceased working after little use,customer service cited the 30 day money back being all they consider.

Clearly not fit for purpose so should be a full refund before 6 months or at least a repair which given the other reviews would be a waste of time.

We were pleased at first, but this morning it just stopped.
Contacted the help line and had no help as it after 30 days - what a joke, who buys a heater to only last 30 days.

Ordered a flame heater on the 8th of December 2022, stopped working in January 2023. Only worked for a month, if that. Put it on one day and it sounded like it was loosing power and then it just stopped completely. Not happy at all, that u can not return it after 30 days and get a refund. Do they not think that the heater could give up after 30 days. 😠. There should be a least 6-12 months guarantee on the heater. Will not be buying from this company again.

If you have already bought one give it back now or with in 30 days of purchase, buy it at a cheaper price, if not you will not get your moneyback, after 30 days
I bought 3 on 9 /10 /2022 @ £34 each and used one immediately did save £60 in my first month versus E7 storage heaters,this is good so actually recommended it to friends,yesterday it died and started to use the 2nd item,that one made a very loud noise didn't like it but it stopped once it reached the set temperature about 20 mins.
I contacted the seller getecowarm.com by email and had an immediate reply to say only 30 day refund guarantee sorry can't help you on this issue, no refund will be issued.
If they last at least 2-3 winters in UK I would accept the item,but not 2 months.I will continue now with #2 till it dies,so my recommendation is don't buy @£34 but could save 3 months of power value, for me £60 was saved,I am still in front with money saved with its use,will not buy from this company again but buy a cheaper 1000w again elsewhere ,they need to inform buyers that life usage is not expected only 30 days is.
Good luck if you buy, remember this review is about the company how they sell the product @£34 but £16 elsewhere (good value) and not the item as it saved me money.

I purchased this heater on 12th November, what can I say the noise off of it sounds as though its about to blow up , it also blows out cold air , I don't know where I can complain about this , and yes I would love a refund

Mine didn’t work anyway - was only blowing cold air.
I emailed to let them know I was returning it and they offered me a 50% refund which obviously I declined. Why would I pay £25 for something that didn’t work? I returned by Royal Mail tracked service and was actually suprised to receive a refund 2 days later.

Full disclosure: I've not bought this product, neither do I ever intend to. The intention of this review is to warn anyone considering it. It is obviously a scam. I saw the add online and clicked it for a lunch break chuckle - at least on that, I was not disappointed.

Conservation of energy is a long established principle in physics. You can convert energy from one form to another - like petrol to propulsion of your car and engine heat - but you cannot conjure it out of thin air(*). So if this heater is 300W as one review on the site claimed, it will heat up your room by no more than 0.3kWh in an hour - or 0.01kWh in 2 minutes. That's actually enough for heating the air in a decent sized double bedroom about 1 degree - but there is so much else in a room, like walls and ceiling, that requires a lot more energy to heat up. And unless you are beaming a lot of the energy out, like through bright light or very loud music, anything using 300W will give you that same amount of heat in the end. So if you have a couple of old, disused computers lying around, you are really better off setting them up to mine bitcoins or host scam websites during the winter to also generate a bit of income on top of the heat.

(*) Heat pumps seem to do just that, but what they actually do is use the electricity to separate air into a warmer part and a colder part and then unload the colder part into the surroundings - without an outlet, heat pumps would be exactly as efficient as EcoWarm or an old computer

These scammers keep changing their web address as a result of being found out, but it's still the same piece of Chinese tat they're flogging, with no magical properties or new über efficient technology.

Quite obviously a scam. Too good to be true, of course. Just think about the ridiculous claims of what it can do! Potentially very dangerous as well.

getecowarm.com are a joke first I get an e-mail supposedly from ups asking for my address then I e-mail support at ecowarm about it I got an email back asking if this my address I say yes but now cannot get through.

Wish I'd never bothered

My heaters just arrived, well packaged and promptly. They look so flimsy that it was with great trepidation I plugged one in. It gave out some heat, perhaps enough to warm an under-stair cupboard through but as it needs to be plugged directly into the socket and not within a metre of anything flammable, it's pretty unusable. I intend to ask for a refund which, I suspect, might not be too straightforward...the warning they give to not contact PayPal direct is a little disconcerting, as is their lack of transparency as to who they are. Oh dear, I wish I hadn't bothered

I wouldn't bother and be very careful about products like this with such outrageous claims.

They also know people google searches such as 'ecowarm scam' to see what other buyers have thought or have called it out as a scam. So what they do is invest in setting up websites to catch these searches. They have set up those websites which of course will say that it isn't a scam and it's real and awesome...

So just be aware and don't get caught out.

This little heater is an absolute joke it hardly heats anything and at a super over inflated price
