Thank you for getting in touch (twice). Please respond to the Trustpilot emails about the duplicate review and information.
I have thoroughly investigated your claim and would like share my findings with you.
We sell batteries for Generators up to 40 years old. Many of the original batteries are no longer available due to such great advances in battery technology, especially over the last 5-10 years. I am sure you are aware of this too, as your cell phone battery can now hold a longer charge in a much smaller space.
This battery advancement, in combination with recent restrictions set by deliveries companies (due to damage they can cause if they leak) has resulted in many batteries being discontinued. In addition to this Battery manufacturers are decreasing the size of ALL batteries due to the high prices of metals, increased shipping and supply chain costs, and the ability to provide equal cranking power with the new technology.
We work closely with our main Battery supplier, and usually they are very good at letting us know when batteries have changed, been superseded or are not available from stock. We, in turn, try to let customers know in the battery listing description about these superseded batteries. In this case however, I have found they did not inform us that the original size battery was not available, and a superseded battery was being sent. I have spoken with them at length about the situation, and they have assured us that the battery you have received is the only superseded replacement that will fit within the battery tray and clear the engine.
They also assure us that it is powerful enough to easily crank over your engine.
I understand that you must be very confused, and I would like to apologise for this. We too have been surprised by the situation.
If you are able to find a supplier with old stock of the original battery, or you do not feel comfortable with the battery you received, as always, we are happy for you to return the battery we have sent for a full refund. If this is the case, please reply to the support ticket you refer to in one of the reviews you left, and we will be happy to provide you with the return address and instructions.

Take their advice. They know generators.
My old 6500w emergency generator had dropped in voltage. It was down to 100 volts (I am in Canada). Jane from Generator Guru helped me diagnose the issue and told me that I just needed a new capacitor. I ordered the part from them online and for less than $50 CDN (including shipping) I was back up and running at 120 volts. Thank You Generator Guru!

Very pleased with the delivery time and selection.
Purchased items arrived within a reasonable amount of time. They are installed and generator is once again functioning.
One magnet is attached to the generator, while I gave the other one to a friend.

Giving you "the Right to Repair."
A quick, helpful response.
My questions were answered VERY quickly (even at 0630 am!), and gave me the help and advice I needed. In the event I didn't go through with a repair, and upgraded to a new (better suited) generator instead, but this in no way detracts from the service I received. I was particularly impressed with the spares available for what was originally a very cheap unit.

I was very skeptical that this was a scam but it did not have the flavor of a scam so a gave it a chance after some time in the web trying to find a discontinued part for a Honda generator they was made for sams club could not find model number on Honda web site I live in Missouri and I have my parts on the third day from ordering the parts. I will tell everyone about generator guru when ever the conversation comes up and even when it does not come up. Very Pleasantly pleased the wed site was easy to navigate and payment method was easy as well thank you

I contacted generator guru when our generator quit working. My husband is in a wheel chair and it was up to me to get this working. I contacted guru and what an amazing experience. Great video to walk me through the checking process, and great response from the tech. Ordered a new AVR and awaiting it's arrival but sure I will have help if I need any to get it installed.

Guess I over worked my 1200 watt !!
