I wish I had read the reviews before buying online.

Bought a sweater online on 2nd Dec and it was a Xmas gift for the husband. Despite him having a M size GANT sweater from 3 years ago in the same style that fits him perfectly well, this time M size was 2 inches smaller on each side. So I thought I will go into the GANT store in Westfield Stratford to exchange for a bigger size. I found a similar sweater but at the till, they said it can't be exchanged but will have to be sent separately from the store for refund. I agreed and all they gave me was a copy of the return form with the writing 'refund'. This was on the 16th Dec. Now 2.5 weeks on, I still haven't received a refund despite contacting customer service by phone and email. They are saying they are locating the return, but if the store has misplaced it, how is that my fault. They are not responding to my emails now. I will never buy anything from GANT online considering the bad customer experience and will warn my friends and family too. Really poor experience from a supposedly luxury brand.

***Editing on the back of the response - now got a response from GANT CS saying the delay was a technical issue and they have processed the refund, I will update the review once my money hits my account.

*** Finally got the money refunded 3 weeks after the return. The company should really consider bringing back in store exchange/immediate refund like all other major retailers do.

Used to love Gant

Used to love Gant, but the advertising has gone too weird for me, and hate the whole Happy Holidays thing. It's Christmas. If you want to celebrate Hanukah and Divali and Christmas, then that's great. But no need to avoid the term Christmas..to be honest it's offensive to do so.

Have had enough of there sloppy non…

Have had enough of there sloppy non existent customer service. Its been getting worse and worse over time. This latest event has prompted me to write a review as they have had my return GB002537091 since the 18th December and I am still waiting on my refund. They ignore emails and Philip tells lies. Never received the free luggage tag (not that I want the rubbish) as promised. They are taking longer and longer to process orders too. This company has gone down hill big time, you only need to look where the clothing is made these days. No 2 items fit the same even though they are same garment.... avoid like the plague.

Unreliable

I have returned an order three weeks ago. They have confirmed that they have received my return on 23rd of December. Today is 2nd of January they still haven’t started a refund.
It’s 10 days that they have received my return, I am not sure what they are waiting for. I have sent back another order from another company and I got the refund on the 23rd, over 10 days ago.
Don’t buy from them

Skrev til kundeservice, men de svarede at de desværre ikke kunne hjælpe, da de kun ville bytte julegaver der var købt efter d. 14 november.
Jeg skrev igen, men de svarer ikke tilbage.
Jeg synes det er for dårligt man intet

Over a month waiting …

Placed order on 22 November for a watch as a Christmas present. Can see it was sent for shipment on 25th Nov and following update was that it was received by Evri on 26th, since then nothing. I’ve sent two emails to Gant Uk and no response and 2 emails to evri/fastway and no response. Based in Ireland so giving up on receiving same and very upset by this as item wasn’t cheap. Very poor customer service and no idea what to do next 😟

Order Lost by Carrier, Terrible Customer Service

EVRI delivered my order to the wrong address, not even in my road. No information as to where it went. GANT customer service were slow and at times unresponsive. After many emails back and forth they finally took ownership of the issue. They processed a refund almost 2 weeks after the issue arose. Avoid ordering GANT products online; we would not do so again. Amazed that this premium clothing brand uses a carrier with such shoddy and unacceptable delivery practices. Beware!

I love Gant clothing BUT ......

I love Gant clothing, but I have now had 2 disastrous online orders, and the lesson is do not buy online. The 1st order I had delivered click and collect to the store in Edinburgh but they never received it despite saying it was in, then not in, it so after a few weeks of palaver I got a refund.

I decided to give on line ordering another go and this time had it delivered to my local post office 2 minutes walk away, but they never received it, despite messages saying it was there then not there. I then had to have 2nd order refunded.

Each time Gant claimed the parcels were lost! So I never got the birthday presents or goods in the sale.

The guy in the Edinburgh shop told me deliveries are bad and notorious so only to buy in the shop.

Lesson is: only buy in the shop which isn't always easy or possible. At least I was refunded timely.

Awful experience

Awful experience. Ordered products and EVRI sent a delivered notification with a photo several streets away. When I checked it was not my parcel from GANT. My parcel was lost/STOLEN. They arranged for the items to be sent out from regent street and messed that up too. I dont have my items. I have given up.

Gant Classic Cotton Half Zip Sweater

Bought a Gant Classic Cotton Half Zip Jumper to match one that I had previously purchased just over a year ago. The quality, size and fit has massively dropped in standard and leaves me questioning this brands integrity. Sleeves are almost 2” shorter, body length 2” shorter, thickness of top so much thinner. Feels very cheap and not inline with my previous purchase. Very disappointed and have returned the top for a refund, from now on I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Excellent service following an issue…

Excellent service following an issue with shrinkage. Sweater purchased earlier in the year, washed only a couple of times. Process was simple - explain issue and send a couple of pictures. A full refund was given immediately.
Always enjoyed Gant clothing and will continue to do so.

Gant No More!!

Absolute shocking customer service. I have used Gant many times over the years but never again. I ordered a shirt from them and noticed that I had made a mistake with the size. I immediately sent an e mail and asked them to change to the correct size apologising for my error. I received a reply saying that they were unable to do so and the shirt would be sent to me and then I could return it. What an absolute farce how can you possibly run an online service that cannot alter details they received no more than 5 mins before.It would appear that looking at other reviews many other have had similar problems.

Löcher in Herren Shirts

Habe ebenfalls Poloshirt und TShirt von Gant gekauft und nach nur 3 Wäsche gemäss Anleitung Löcher in den beiden Teilen entdeckt.
Gant ist für mich gestorben. Daneben wieder Ralf Lolo kaufen.

i have bought quite a number of items…

i have bought quite a number of items of clothing from gant over the years and usually found them to be of really good quality and manufacture. lately however, that is not the case. to the point that i feel motivated to write this review (especially as i can find no way of reviewing an item on the gant website despite there being numerous reviews there. how do they do that?) anyway, the quality of material has plummeted. it really is bottom of the barrel. and the quality of manufacture has equally dropped. poorly made, really odd fit, i could go on. and consequently of course, not worth the asking prices. i will not buy from them again. either the accountants have got in on the act or else their qc needs an overhaul. either way...not for me

Ordered two small dog harnesses very…

Ordered two small dog harnesses very disappointing they were massively too big. Very poor quality.
I’ve been in communication since July now they are offering me £3 refund for the two.
Can’t deal directly through email with them and can’t find the link they sent me to a chat site.
Not happy will not buy from them again and won’t recommend my friends to use them either …

Sehr enttäuscht

Von 3 bestellten Tshirts, war eines mangelhaft. Mein Mann kann es nicht anziehen, weil ein heller Streifen quer über die Vorderseite verläuft. Obwohl ich ein Bild geschickt habe, erhielt ich keine Antwort mehr. Ich hätte schon erwartet, dass es ersetzt wird oder Betrag erstattet wird.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt für mich nicht

Habe mir in den letzten Jahren mehrere Polo Shirts und auch Pullover gekauft.
Meine Polo Shirts haben nach kurzer Zeit Löcher an den selben Stellen.
Habe mich an die Zentrale in Holzwickede gewand, aber die Interessiert das nicht besonders.
Finde ein Shirt für 89,-€ sollte Qualität sein.
Aber die Bewertungen sprechen eine deutliche Sprache.
Schade eigentlich, weil ich die Kleidung von Gant schick finde.
Werde zukünftig andere Marken bevorzugen.

Order number NT Order - GB002351089

Order number NT Order - GB002351089. Placed and order on Sunday and spoke to the agent on Tuesday for an update. The staff in Stokeholm answered the phone who clearly didn’t care about the customer or his employers’ business. He was unable to answer the delivery date (3-5 days was promised), no apologies or any effort to resolve the situation. The staff was unable to escalate as this is “not” the company policy and I must send and email. He cancelled the order without my consent or knowledge. I have since received 10s of emails asking me to order again…and they will offer a “new” delivery code. If you want to spend £££ do somewhere else don’t waste your time expecting customer service from GANT. The staff need real training in customer service and should have access to the right information.

The response below from GANT is typical. There is no resolution but some fluffy words. The manager did reach out but offering a code for faster delivery. Does this company really think that customers have only one choice to shop? Have lots of time to reorder things? In my opinion they should reinstate the order and should have sent the delivery in time - simple. Did the manager speak to the staff who deliberately made this change?
