Have to say I love Gant clothes and…

Update - my complaint has been addressed by GANT Customer Service. All resolved. Thank you.
Have to say I love Gant clothes and purchase regularly but the online delivery /returns has been frustrating. What is going on with the Gant dispatch / delivery process? This is the 2nd time I’ve experienced mistakes with incorrect items delivered and hassle trying to get it resolved and refunded. On the most recent occasion I ordered 2 pairs of men’s jeans - same size but different colours for my husband to choose one. Package arrived but contents did not match my order or items listed on the enclosed delivery form. Took a photo and then returned items not wanted - received only partial refund so now have to try and get through to customer services to resolve issue and obtain full refund.

Bestelling retour gestuurd, volgens de track and trace op 2 mei bezorgd bij Gant. Inmiddels zijn we 11 dagen verder en heb ik nog niets over mijn retour gehoord. Weg €105. Ik bestel hier echt nooit meer wat een waardeloze toestand.

Pullover aus Lammwolle gekauft - bitte nicht nachmachen

Pullover aus Lammwolle gekauft. 3x getragen - Bündchen komplett ausgeleiert.
Service war zuerst super. Man bot mir an, den Pullover kostenlos zur Qualitätsprüfung zurückzuschicken - habe ich auch. Ein paar Wochen später erhielt ich den Pullover zurück. Es sei alles in Ordnung. Eine Waschanleitung lag dabei…man solle ihn nach der Handwäsche zurechtziehen…

Der Pullover ist ausgeleiert, vor allen Dingen an den Bündchen. Da hilft auch zurechtziehen nichts. Gant hätte sich wirklich keinen Zacken aus der Krone gebrochen den Pulli auszutauschen, bzw das Geld zu erstatten, auch wenn sie nicht mit mir einer Meinung sind. Er geht jetzt jedenfalls in die Altkleidersammlung, denn so kann man ihn nicht anziehen.

Eine absolute Katastrophe – nie wieder!

Ich bin mehr als enttäuscht und verärgert über diesen „Service“. Meine Bestellung wurde am 24. April aufgegeben – laut Webseite sollte die Lieferung innerhalb von 3–4 Tagen erfolgen. Stattdessen lag mein Paket 4 Tage lang nur im Lager herum, bevor es überhaupt erst verschickt wurde. Das ist eine Frechheit, vor allem weil es sich um ein sehr wichtiges Geschenk handelte, das rechtzeitig ankommen musste.

Doch es kommt noch schlimmer: Obwohl meine Adresse und mein Name absolut korrekt waren, wurde das Paket nicht zugestellt. Ich schrieb eine E-Mail – tagelang keine Antwort. Erst auf eine weitere Nachfrage bekam ich eine verspätete Rückmeldung. Dann rief ich den Kundenservice an, nur um zu erfahren, dass mein Paket bereits zurückgeschickt wurde und eine erneute Zustellung nicht möglich sei. Stattdessen sollte ich die Bestellung neu aufgeben – wohlgemerkt ohne den ursprünglichen Rabatt, den ich beim ersten Mal hatte.

Mir wurde versprochen, ich solle eine E-Mail an Frau Dupke schreiben, um den Rabatt für die neue Bestellung zu erhalten. Das habe ich getan – bis heute ist NICHTS passiert. Kein Rabatt, keine Hilfe, kein Entgegenkommen.

Für mich ist das der schlechteste Kundenservice, den ich je erlebt habe. Keine Zuverlässigkeit, keine Kommunikation, keine Verantwortung. Ich kann jedem nur dringend abraten, hier zu bestellen. Nie wieder!

GANT San Prep Sneakers 2025 - extremely bad quality

I bought it two weeks ago and have worn it 3-4 times overall. The shoes are Gant, sport textile Sanprep, Marine product code: 30638802-G69. I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor quality, as the internal lining textile material is torn in several areas. It appears to be a one-time-use kind of shoe.
I have photos; however, it appears I am unable to share them in this space.

I do not recommend these at all.

Very disappointing.

Poor quality

I went to the gant shop in Guildford. I haven’t bought new polo tops for a couple of years from gant. I thought I’ll treat myself as gant and Ralph Lauren I like to wear on special days. To my sadness the quality of material in the polo tops felt like I was wearing an unbranded polo top that I would wear for gardening that cost me £10. I don’t mind spending £150 on polo top just make sure you spend at least £50 on material to make a better polo top. Otherwise we feel ripped off!!. If you want to cut corners do it with the CEO and the board bonus and wages. I will not buy my 5 polo tops, swim trunks, shorts and jumpers now until I see changes in quality!!.
Hope I hear a response from someone that works in gant otherwise it means you don’t really care.

Outstanding customer service from Poly in Gant Richmond

I have experienced exceptional and outstanding customer service from lovely Poly at Gant store in Richmond, went to buy a knitwear where she greets us with such a warm welcome which instantly made us feel like home, her professional approach with a casual touch made such a difference to our experience and built up an everlasting connection where we will definitely go back again, had great empathy and very proactive, her throughout smile and the positivity made us know very much about herself and GANT, her knowledge was to a high standard, provided timely, attentive, and pleasant support to myself and another customer at the same time, ultimately leaving us feeling valued and satisfied,

Disappointing Experience at GANT – Not Worth the Price or the Hype

I had high expectations walking into GANT, given its reputation for quality and classic style. Unfortunately, my experience left me completely disappointed. The customer service was shockingly poor—staff were either uninterested, dismissive, or completely unhelpful. There was no sense of attention or care, and I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer, especially from the manager Morad.

To make matters worse, the quality of the items didn’t match the premium pricing. For a brand that prides itself on craftsmanship, the materials felt cheap and the fit was inconsistent. I honestly expected better for the money I was prepared to spend.

What was once a refined and elegant brand now feels like it’s running on outdated prestige. I left feeling frustrated and undervalued, and I definitely won’t be returning. There are plenty of other brands that offer both better service and better quality without the attitude.

So I’m back again giving you Gant customer services at the other end of the phone 5⭐️
Beginning of March I’ve ordered online a present for my sister and I never received it.. it took a bit of my time which I didn’t have, frustration, disappointment and phone calls to resolve the issue, all great and had my refund for the items I’ve never received and for the next day delivery I’ve paid for.
Some two weeks later I’ve seen the items I’ve ordered available on website again, so I thought I’ll call Gant customer service to order by the phone and hopefully get it, but been told it doesn’t work like that and reassured if I order again myself on the website they’ll closely monitor my order making sure it get to me.So I did just that!

Went on the website while on the phone to a gentleman from Gant customer service ( I’m so sorry I don’t remember his name but he was absolutely amazing!!! very polite, calm, professional and knew what he was doing) so I’ve ordered and got a complimentary next day delivery.
Next day I’ve received my order and I was over the moon.. and my sister! 😊
Well done and a big THANK YOU to all of you at Gant customer service that helped me reordering those items and monitored till it reached me!

I actually had a great experience with Gant staff at the Bluewater Mall in Dartford. Really helpful service and got both pants tailored for free. Very pleased with their product and service.

Had to return a pair of £200 Brown…

Had to return a pair of £200 Brown leather Chelsea boots that fell apart in under 3 months. Luckily I was in Oxford Westgate Shopping Centre when it happened so popped in last Sunday. Unfortunately they didn't have the stock to replace so said I will hop back the following week. I was able to find the receipt from 24th November where I had bought them on a Black Friday event along with a shirt. On returning to the store on Sunday 2nd March firstly the sales assistant kept me waiting whilst he tried to understand how to do the return of a faulty good. Unfortunately as no manger this took over 20 mins. Eventually they called manager on phone who informed the assist I wasn't due a refund as it was more than 14 days! After explaining to the staff there is a different to a return to a faulty product which I had to show them the rear of the receipt to read out their own terms!
Next excuse was there was company policy on how long an item could be warn until acceptable to be classed as faulty and he suggested this was 30 days!
He then claimed as the Chelsea boot had a scuff on it this showed wear. I did say if this was an issue I would go home and polish my faulty boot ...where the whole sole and heel had fallen off as the glue wasn't strong enough.

I was handed the phone so I could speak to the manager and had a 10 minute conversation trying to explain there should be a no quibble return and more of an apology from the staff for a product to fail as it did.
The conversation then evolved by the me trying to ask "do Gant products only last 30 days" if this was the period to return a £200 retail priced boot that I purchased with a 30% off event.

The Sales assistant said as it was bough at a sale event I wasn't due a refund....

I then had to explain the difference from sale stock and a promotion event of their new range which the boots were back in November.

As we got closer to resolving the matter the words " gift card" came from the manager on the phone to the staff.

I very politely refused that I would not accept a gift card as I need to replace the Chelsea Boots and Gant now only has summer foot wear. Eventually after about 40 mins a refund was given.
Gant - please sort out your staff training.
I have been a loyal customer but think I will stick to the John Lewis Gant concession in future as they train their staff.
PS The Gant staff were polite at all times but too dedicated to protect the "so called" Gant Company Policy. Gant feel free to contact me as I would love to share the photos of the boots that failed to demonstrate this very rare occasion when your products fail, but do train your staff of how to deal with such matters.

I ordered a jacket from this site and…

I ordered a jacket from this site and the following day I received an email to say it had been cancelled . I went back on to the site to look for an alternative and it showed that the jacket that had been cancelled was available again in my size . I have just received an email again to say this has also been cancelled. I really thought there would have been a better service from the offical Gant website 🤔

Mooie hoodie voor mijn man gekocht. Eerste x wassen op 30 graden: de binnenkant is helemaal gepuld, buitenkant ook niet mooi meer. Gekocht bij Gant bataviastad. Maar voor zo'n dure hoodie ( originele prijs ) vind ik kwaliteit zeer slecht. Jammer

Credit where Credit is Due

Saw a pair of boots in Gant, Ashford outlet Kent. They did not have my size and Freya and Tia were both extremely helpful. They found a pair in Cheshire Oaks outlet, South Wirral and rang through on my behalf to order them. I spoke to Jamie who confirmed and said they would be shipped free of charge as I am a member and should receive them within 3 working days. Lo and behold they arrived by UPS the following morning, less than 20hrs of ordering them. Absolute fantastic service with Freya, Tia and Jamie being a credit to Gant. Well deserved mention to all three. Thank-you

Tia - Gant assistant store manager was excellent

Tia the assistant store manager was super helpful. I bought the wrong size trousers at Portsmouth and I contacted Tia who found the right size for me. She emailed several times with photos of the two pairs Ashford Gant had. Tia was lovely to my partner who had been unwell. The day we came in to the store 12/2/25 the store had another pair of trousers that were my size. I bought two pairs Alistair dark blue and a slim fit corduroy that fit me well as I had bought a pair of Molsey extra slim a few years ago. So great to know Gant sizes are consistent. I love the quality of Gant trousers. The cords have deep pockets so loose coins stay in when sitting down to drive. So, if you seek out Tia then your Gant shopping experience at Ashford will be a good one. Happy shopping.

I bought a gift voucher for a 40th birthday! 2 weeks and it still hasn't arrived. I have e mail both Gant customer service and the delivery company and no one respons to me! Gant will not pick up the phone or answer e mails its a shambolic company.
