Sort out your inventory!

Ordered a polo shirt in the sale, when it arrived it was clearly a button-down shirt in a bag with the polo shirts sticker - clearly a warehouse labelling issue like mentioned in another review below. Surprised the packer didn’t check either as you can clearly see it’s not a polo.

Quick response from customer service, but apart from a free next-day delivery offered it was useless as the particular item I wanted was now out of stock. Really below standard and lacking labelling, picking and packing care.

Mistake Fixed, Manners Not Included - Five Star delay, One Star Customer Service

I recently returned two pairs of swim shorts and was initially refunded for only one, despite returning both together in the same parcel. After days of back-and-forth, it emerged the issue was due to an internal labelling error in their warehouse. While the financial matter was eventually resolved, the handling of my case was extremely poor. There was no sense of urgency, repeated delays, and a complete lack of a sincere apology for the distress and inconvenience caused. I was effectively treated as if I had failed to return an item, with little effort made to reassure me or acknowledge the impact this had. Even after confirming I had returned both items in good faith, the customer service agent failed to provide a meaningful resolution beyond the refund itself. My attempts to escalate the matter to a senior manager were ignored by the CS agent who still hasn't replied to my last email. This experience has left me with no confidence in Gant's customer service standards. The branding and clothing maybe considered 'World Class' but the Customer Service is appalling, cannot be trusted and not taken seriously. I'll be spending my hard earned money elsewhere.

I bought it 3 months ago and have worn it 3-4 times overall. The cap are Gant, I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor quality, terrible quality - faded in spots straight away £50 wasted on air

Gant Cambridge, I had a problem with my gift card, which was 100% my fault but they went over and above what they needed to do and got it resolved for me. Fantastic service.

Qualität stark nachgelassen und wenig auswahl

Qualität stark nachgelassen, Unterwäsche oftmals nach einigen Malen Waschen, am Bund ausgeleiert. Wenig auswahl n farben, kaum noch Daunenwesten und keine schönen farben, wie knallrot, oder weiß! Zudem wenig große Größen ab 3XL für herren

The shop is lovely

The shop is lovely , the staff are fantastic , however the clothes have changed .
The sizes are not true anymore . Most of it is made in China . Compared with say Peter Millar sizing not an issue
Shame , as this was a go to good brand

Exceptional service from poly

Great Service at Gant Richmond

Great Service at Gant Richmond

I recently visited Gant Richmond and was helped by a staff member named Poly, who provided excellent service. She greeted me promptly, guided me to the product I needed, and clearly explained the options. She was highly knowledgeable and even went above and beyond by ordering items for me from the warehouse. What stood out most was her amazing sense of humor—she had no filter in the best way and genuinely made me laugh. It felt like chatting with a real person, not just a salesperson. I left satisfied and truly appreciated the support. Great job, Poly!

Gant UK has sorted itself and on three…

Gant UK has sorted itself and on three recent purchases the service has been 5 star an improvement on what it was 1/2 years ago …
I have been buying Gant since the late 1970’s but in the last 4 or 5 years service dropped off , mostly manufactured in China so the quality of the product was awful ! So I didn’t buy anything for 2 or 3 years . However I am buying now , less Chinese rubbish e.g really nice belts made in Italy , shoes from Portugal etc etc . Stick at it Gant and source more local product .

Rude staff at Gant Prague

I visited the Gant store in Prague and was not greeted by any staff. I asked to try on a t shirt in 2 sizes and was told there was a private fitting taking place and besides “it’s not allowed’ the rude member of staff said.
Not the approach or level of customer service I would expect from Gant. In the uk I always have a good experience.

Unbelievable Gant solution is if you don’t pick up when Evri send back which will be after 3rd . Evri will not allow me to change to home but will for Gant you prefer to refund so unprofessional.

So dissatisfied with Gant online orders…been a customer for years ordered for home delivery but they have delivered the parcel to somewhere I can get to….I am housebound and parking is impossible so don’t want to ask a friend . Called for 5 days line always busy and you can’t hold on it cuts of sent 3 online messages over 6 days no action …… I will not use a company that’s impossible to get hold of they used to be great Ready other complaints this is very sad .

We’ve checked your order and can confirm that the pick-up delivery option was selected at checkout, which sometimes happens if the delivery method isn’t changed, as the system defaults to pick-up. We understand this isn’t ideal, especially as you are housebound. If Evri send you a “We have your parcel” email, you may be able to change the delivery address at that stage. If this isn’t possible, we can ask Evri to return the parcel to us and arrange a refund once it arrives at our warehouse. Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service. Ordered items on 10th June for next day delivery, order status states delivery is taking longer than usual but the tracking shows only that the order is confirmed, yet they are trying to blame DPD! I need the order for a present and she had the cheek to advise me to check if the items are still in stock and order them again!?!? Im already out of pocket and you think I want to order from you again! Shocking company and service. Cant tell me where the items are and wont cancel my order. Total joke of a company, I will be taking this further, I want my money back. They also ignore my emails too.

Problems with order and customer service clueless, AVOID

Bought some clothes for a Father’s Day present, paid for next day delivery using DPD, order never arrived. Tracking after a week says the order is taking longer than usual but still be prepared by Gant, so not even with DPD. Customer services refunded delivery charge but say now 7 days for them to investigate. wtf?

No existent customer service

Bought a pair of "Slim Fit Tapered Cotton Twill Pants" on 1/6/2025 for £125 and wore them once before they ripped. I have been trying to contact customer care multiple times and have sent photo proof but no one replies. To be specific its "Cesar" that hasn't replied. For the amount of money I have spent at Gant on this purchase and in the past this is very disappointing. This is supposed to be a premium brand.

retourzending wordt niet betaald

Je retourzending krijg je niet betaald. Na 4 weken nog niet in behandeling genomen. Je moet een heel formulier invullen met kopie ID bewijs als je je retour betaald wilt hebben.

Bestel hier niets tenzij je zeker weet dat je het artikel niet gaat retourneren.

Clothes good quality but refund policy could be improved upon

Good website, nice clothes, all very efficient on the delivery side. Bought four items valued at 200 in total. Returned one item valued at 45. Returned the item precisely as requested by GANT UK, via AN POST courier but it did not reach them apparently. Before they would investigate, they asked for proof of postage, which I sent on. They then asked me to sign an affadavit and for an image from my passport or other government ID. I found this to be intrusive so complained. They ignored multiple emails after this but eventually resolved the matter with a prompt refund. It is hard to understand why they allowed the matter to escalate instead of resolving the matter faster. To sum up, clothes seem good quality and delivery is efficient but refund policy could be improved upon. Nevertheless, thank you Cesar for eventually resolving my issue.
