I have been a Gant customer for over 20…

I have been a Gant customer for over 20 years and normally buy from the store. I ordered something on line and there’s a Technical’ problem on my order for £103. The order is stuck in their system and they can’t release it, or cancel. The customer support is awful (called and spoke to 3 different people for updates) have just been told ‘a ticket has been raised’ so no goods and no money! I asked how I put in a written complaint as was told they were the complaints department and there was nothing they could do - I am sure this is illegal as they have my money and will not give it back!!!! Can’t believe how bad thi service is and they don’t seem to care.

Shockingly bad customer experience

Returned an item after Christmas delivered to Gant on 29th December 2025. 1 month later on 29th January 2026 still no refund. Had to provide tracking details twice!!!!!! Direct quote from Customer Service Specialist…

"Thank you for confirming!

We apologise for the inconvenience. We can confirm that your return was received at the warehouse on 29/01. Please note that it can take up to 14 working days for our warehouse team to process a refund.

Well if the customer service SPECIALIST can't work out the difference between December and January goodness knows what the ordinary customer service people are like!

Suffice to say Gant are no longer on my list of reputable companies.

I returned my goods and sent a follow up email requesting confirmation of receipt of goods and details of my refund. After 5 attempts still nothing.
If they were not such a reputable company I’d say I was scammed. Although how reputable can they be if they don’t even reply

Is Gant going to survive as a brand?

The quality of Gant's clothing has deteriorated markedly over the last few years, and now they have moved on to breaking the law when it comes to refunds for returned items - they do not refund within 14 days as per consumer law in the UK. Unfortunately this all points to the increasingly likelihood of the demise in the next few years of this once amazing brand.

Efetuei a devolução de um artigo

Efetuei a devolução de um artigo, que receberam e confirmaram a receção do artigo dia 18/11/2025. Já se passaram dois meses e após vários emails a solicitar a devolução, continuam sem efetuar a devolução.
Disseram que iam processar a devolução na semana passada, mas tal não aconteceu.
Inadmissível, péssima experiência, não voltarei a comprar.

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered two shirts, realised straight away they were the wrong size. Tried contacting GANT - customer service is only opened 0900-0100 so no response.
I returned the shirts, no confirmation email to say they had received the return so i had to contact them again. A few days later they responded to say they had received the package on 2nd and refund would be 7-10 days.
No refund appeared. Again because of limited time to call i used the contact form on two separate occasions and am still waiting for a response .
I managed to call today and someone said the refund wasn't issued yet . When i asked why the response was “ i dont know” and inform me I SHOUlD receive the refund within 5 days .

Qualität mangelhaft

Leider! laufen die Pullover selbst bei Handwaesche ein. Das ist bei diesem Preis eine Unverschämtheit. Der Pullover hat in der Länge ca 5 cm verloren und die ausgestellten Ärmel - die den Chic ausmachten - sind jetzt ganz normale Ärmel. Enttäuschung pur!!!

Don’t bother they don’t bother with you

My girlfriend ordered a coat on the 15th of December with a guaranteed Christmas delivery. We ordered something else around the same time which arrived normally. It’s still stuck in atherstone Royal Mail and we cannot get a hold of gant. They picked up a couple of days ago saying they will sort it out and send an email. Guess what… nothing. You would think buying directly off the website of a big company like this would be safe. Don’t do it I’ve seen better customer service at an understaffed busy McDonald’s. It is still yet to be sorted and receive the “Christmas present” but it may be 2026 by the time it comes. Merry Christmas gant sort it out.

Update: We are having a refund and re ordering having to hastle and sort out price matching. Why the hell are we responsible for sorting your mistakes

Terrible service.

Ordered a rugby top just prior to Christmas. Email received saying it’s on its way, however, 7 days later, the courier company(Evri) have yet to receive the item.
Have sent a email to Gant and also have attempted to ring customer service on numerous occasions - no reply.

Returned a jacket two days after…

Returned a jacket two days after receiving it. This was nearly 3 weeks ago. Have emailed the customer service team to enquire as to the delay receiving confirmation its return, and therefore my £200 refund. Have heard absolutely nothing. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing from Gant. Never again.

Great Experience

If I’d read these reviews before ordering I probably wouldn’t have gone ahead.
I had a brilliant experience.
Ordered two sale shirts on Tuesday evening (23rd) and asked for them to be delivered to a local post office.
I was hoping they might make it for the NY.
They arrived on the 24th and are great.
Absolutely no complaints here.

Ordered 11th Dec and no sign of my…

Ordered 11th Dec and no sign of my order . Tracking website has no update since 14th Dec and I have not received any response from Customer support. Very disappointing, I would not have ordered if I thought delivery would not be on time for Christmas.

SUBSTANDARD GARMENT QUALITY

My wife bought me a GANT Terry's blue dressing gown for Christmas 2024. I have worn it occasionally but I wanted to feedback about the substandard quality. The whole garment is full of threads and extremely thin - i have only worn it a few times. Its an inferior product and my regret was not returning this straight away. As a result of this experience I am unlikely to buy from GANT in the future

Have been a loyal customer for years in…

Have been a loyal customer for years in shop and on line - I call my husband “Gant man” as he loves their clothes but recently had such a poor experience I will never shop online with them again so be warned! The telephone number is not manned so you can’t get through to speak to someone. I sent five emails and also a message through instagram and three days later I’ve still no response! The tracker feature on the website doesn’t work so I’ve no way of stopping a delivery they shipping to the wrong address even though I changed my address on their website! So looks like I will lose my parcel and not even get a refund or replacement due to appalling lack of communication- my advice don’t shop with Gant online!

Miese Qualität

Hab Schuhe von GANT über Best Secret gekauft und sie max. 3 Monate getragen. Die sind einfach jetzt schon Schrott und kosten normalerweise 130€. Mit welchem Recht bitte? Würde ich mir nie mehr holen.

Extremely bad customer service

Ordered on the 28th of November and only received the news that my order was mixed up with someone else on the 13th of December. Email stated the mix up and outlined all that i would need to do to return my order. No mention of my order and what they could do to facilitate me. Then recieved a reply that my refund will be issued and if i wish to order again a 10% discount would be applied. (Not the most generous of offers if Im honest) I then went back on to replace the order expecting that it would not be here in time for xmas and at checkout the website then tells me that the item I want is now out of stock. Then went back on the website an hour later and its back in stock. I place the order again and call to confirm that it will be fulfilled. Was told it would be dispatched either today or first thing the next morning. Call the next afternoon to advise it had not been dispatched yet and then told that it could be another day before they send it. Absolutely shocking customer service! I asked if my order could be prioritised due to their mistake to be told "no sorry". Manager then emailed me to reiterate they only use Evri courier and could not speed things along. He then asked me to fill out forms in relation to the incorrect order I had apparently received. All I want is confirmation that my new order is being sent! Absolutely shocking service with no straightforward answers to any questions. It's now 5 days later and order hasn't been fulfilled and no one replying to my emails. Don't shop online with them. The absolute worst.

Rundum zufrieden

Durch Zufall bin ich auf die Gant Seite gelangt und habe mich als Polyesterallergiker über einige Jacken/Mäntel ohne Chemiefaser gefreut. Neben den schon hohen Preisen habe ich mich über die vielen negativen Bewertungen hinsichtlich Qualität, Service und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter gewundert. Zum Glück wohne ich in Köln und habe daraufhin die örtliche Filiale am 17.11. aufgesucht. Dort wurde ich von einem recht kommunikativen und freundlichen Mitarbeiter betreut. Die Jacke kam nach in Augenscheinnahme nicht in Frage. Ein braunkarierter Wollmantel aus Wolle passte bei meiner Körpergröße perfekt und gefiel mir auf Anhieb. Der Classic Wollmantel sollte in blau sein, war aber nicht in meiner Größe vorrätig. Eine fast passende Größe in Country Green war dann der Hammer. Aufgrund der Preise von 550€ bzw. 450€ wollte ich noch mal drüber schlafen. Zudem machte mich eine „innere Stimme“ auf die kommende Black Week aufmerksam.
So suchte ich die Filiale erneut am 22.11. erneut und war nach erneuter Anprobe noch immer begeistert; diesmal mit 30% Rabatt. Ich wurde von einer sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiterin bedient, die mir direkt vor Ort den 2. Mantel eine Nummer größer an meine Adresse bestellte. Der 1. Mantel wurde mit Seidenpapier in einer sehr wertigen Tasche verpackt.
Eine Woche später kam der 2. Mantel in einer ausreichend großen Verpackung mit Tragegriff in der Packstation an. Der Mantel hing an einem Kleiderbügel mit Cellophanüberwurf wie aus der Reinigung. Beide Mäntel sehen sehr gut verarbeitet aus und haben sowohl links und rechts eine Innentasche und eine weitere Innentasche links für ein Smartphone.
Sorry für die lange Bewertung, aber ich bin mit allen beschriebenen Punkten äußerst zufrieden.
