Helemaal top!! Kan op geen enkele (illegale en legale) site meer terecht om te gokken. Echt een aanrader voor mensen die moeite hebben om te stoppen met gokken. En dat voor een paar euro per maand. Thx Gamban.

This app takes your phone hostage
Gamban is a parasite app. They're customer service is brutal. Just look at the reviews everywhere including google play.. DO NOT USE THIS APP UNLESS YOURE PREPARED TO GIVE UP CONTROL OF YOUR PHONE FOR THE 5 OR 10 YRS ETC ETC.. This app takes your phone hostage. I tried to install ATT ActiveArmor app on my phone, and a problem with the Gamban won't let me install the ATT app. Id have to uninstall the Gamban app. Now Gamban has my phone hostage for 5yrs, as I selected a 5 yr ban. You sign over permissions when you install the app and once you do, they won't let your uninstall the app until your "ban" (1yr or 5yr or 10yr bans) is up. I appreciate the efforts to help gamblers, but if your technology is going to interfere with other application, esp security apps.. You need to pull back until your technology is perfected. What an absolute nightmare. Paying the price for not researching this app before installing. I can't even unistall it on google.... Im at a loss for words..

Gute Idee, jedoch nicht zufriedenstellend
1 Stern für die Idee, 1 weiterer Stern für den Support (Sobald man eine Seite oder eine App/Browser meldet wird diese/r schnellstens blockiert).
Leider bringt das alles nichts wenn sich die App spielend leicht deaktivieren lässt zumindest bei mir (Android). Natürlich werde ich hier nicht schreiben wie das funktioniert aber so ist es nicht mal die 2€ wert was man bezahlt. Sollte diese App wirklich mal zu 100% funktionieren ist man auch bereit mehr zu bezahlen.
Weiters fand ich keine Möglichkeit Gamban auf einem Amazon Fire Tablet zu installieren, auch hier sollte man sich Gedanken machen um wirklich JEDES Gerät zu schützen.

Not reliable
Was working well and then I had to restart my phone and gamban just stopped working, which inevitably led me back to looking at betting sites which then led me to gambling again. Not worth the money.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. Regrettably, this is an ongoing issue with iPhones.
On newer iOS versions, Apple devices have suffered changes that removed the possibility of a password protected profile. We are currently working with Apple’s team to resolve the issue.
I would also like to inform you that most Android devices are more reliable with Gamban so you may consider switching to that until we find a solution.

It does the job, got a bit carried away so blocked myself on my phone and my PC. If you want a break from gambling or to stop completely this is a good start

J'ai mis une étoile, mais avoir eu le choix j'en n'aurais juste pas mis. L'application fonctionne vraiment juste à temps partiel et j'ai laissé de nombreux messages et je n'ai jamais eu un seul retour. J'ai payé pour un abonnement d'un an et j’ai l'impression de me faire complètement arnaquer par ce site qui fonctionne 1 jour/sur 3.

The best thing I ever did
I’m 18 months into my gambling exclusion. I have saved over £10k. I would not have been able to do it with GAMBAN. I totally recommend it for anyone seriously considering stopping gambling. It saved my relationships/health/mental health. I really had a problem and I still take one day at a time. You still need self control to avoid bookies and casinos but you can do it if I have.

I think it's spyware…
I have reached out a couple of times for them to remove this from my phone and they will not!! Since installed, someone or something has hacked my phone and messaging others acting as me! My phone is locking up and has been operating very poorly. I think this is spyware. Do not put on your devices!!! The excuse to not take it off .y device. If anyone wanted to play games, it's as simple as using a different device!!! Do not allow it on your phone or computer
** The response I received was the same generic response everyone gets. My point is my devices have been messed up since I added it! It is a flawed program! It has potential, however it is easy to go to another device if I wanted to play. I obviously don't! I wanted to recommend this to people in the group, I can only evaluate based on my experience

This is not a measure to inconvenience you but a necessary step to protect those at risk from gambling-related harm. Allowing for early removals could potentially undermine this protection, which is why all Gamban installations are final and typically cannot be removed early.
Please rest assured that Gamban is not spyware. The software is designed with a single purpose - to block access to gambling sites and applications. Apart from the information provided during the registration process, Gamban does not collect additional user data. We have no direct access to your devices and cannot control them from our end.
If you are experiencing issues with your phone, such as unauthorised access or poor performance, it is unlikely that these problems are caused by Gamban. We recommend checking for other potential sources of the issue, such as malware.
Should you need further assistance or if there's anything else we can do to help, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
Update: We have addressed the malware issues and we have clarified that our app is not any type of malware. We are unable to control your device in any way.
We always recommend users to install Gamban on all of their devices, in order to ensure that they remain protected regardless of what platform they choose to use.
Lastly, Gamban was never designed to be a standalone solution but rather a tool to be used on the road to recovery alongside other services such as bank transaction blocking, GamStop, GamCare, and therapy.
