Fredoom non e affidabile ,e nemmeno gratuito ,e puro spam ingannevole già inserito nelle black list - cybersicurezza

I used Dot TK/Freenom for over 15 years and was very happy with the service. Unfortunately, the new operator has decided to discontinue free .TK domains and now requires €9.95 per year to keep them!
My domain was registered in 2010 and my email address has been in use for more than 15 years. Although I had already moved most of my services to another domain, I still had long-term contacts using this address, and I had to spend time updating them before the domain expired. There is also no way to know how many people from previous years may still try to contact me using that address in the future.
I understand that business models can change, but forcing long-term users to either pay or lose domains they have relied on for many years is extremely disappointing. Existing users should have been offered a more considerate solution.
After more than 15 years as a satisfied user, this is a very disappointing way for the service to end.

Need renew one paid domain they close my support tickets without answers.
Called to the office and the customer care agent told me that they will contact me later....

da una verifica... hanno chiuso i battenti....
non hanno piu possibilità di acquistare nomi..
mi spiace.. ci sono stati anni in cui avrei dato 5!!

I have registered a domain with them and without any type of notice (invoice, notification, request for payment) , my registration expired, when I contacted them they reply me that it was too late to renew it so I should register somewhere else again. Unfortunately it was already registered by someone else so I end up that I lost the domain because of them.

Empecé con un dominio .tk a principios del año 2000 a través del sitio web dot.tk. Incluso pagué por él años más tarde, para estar seguro de no perder el nombre de dominio. Todo fue bien, hasta que Freenom tomó el control. En 2021 o 2022 perdí el dominio temporalmente porque no recibí ninguna notificación sobre la renovación. Pude registrarlo nuevamente y lo renové por otros años más, me tocaba renovar el dominio a finales de octubre de 2024 y no recibí ninguna notificación para renovar el dominio, estuve varios días antes intentando renovarlo manualmente pero tampoco se podía. He enviado dos tickets a Freenom informando del problema y no me contestan (cierran los tickets sin previo aviso).
Ahora ya no sé que va a ocurrir con mi dominio .tk, tendré que olvidarme de él. No puedo renovarlo de ninguna forma ni comprarlo en ningún sitio.

I started with a .tk domain in 2002, which seemed a friendly way to get a domain, through the website dot.tk. I even paid for it, to be sure I wouldn't lose the domain name. All went well, until Freenom took over. In 2021 I lost the domain temporarily because I received no notification about renewal. I could register it again, and last year I paid for another 5 years. Recently I discovered that my website can't be reached. Today I found out that the domain name is on sale at another website, even though in my Freenom account it says paid till 2028. Draw your own conclusions...

Freenom was reliable and free until criminals won't stop abusing it. They were sued and lost $500m to meta. I used to have about 5 domains which I use for deploying my free apps and web apps. It was cool until the lawsuit. Damn these thieves and cyber armed criminals still come here to give freenom the bad review. You all caused the damage they experienced and they took the fall. My question is to Freenom does it worth it? Why not use a strong kyc to onboard users from the beginning so you can report these scammers directly without taking the fall. Anyway RIP to Freenom it was cool with you guys.

tout simplement il fait croire qu'il offre des noms de domaines gratuit alors que c'est un simple appâts ,vous allez taper 1000 noms de domaine il y'aura que des payants, en tous les cas c'est mon expérience, alors il faut pas dire qu'il existe des noms de domaine gratuit chez freenom .

They will seize your domain whenever they want

Paid Domains that are dot com are due to expire in 2029 and Freenom has lost or discontinued my DNS for these PAID domains, so now there is no control of them and they are useless, not even the ability to change the nameservers, or transfer the domains.
My oldest "OPEN" ticket for a complaint regarding this issue is nearly 2 years old! They do answer the phone in Amsterdam, but they will tell you that they are getting to your complaint, and they kid on like you are the only customer that this has ever happened to.

I've had a pretty bad experience with Freenom a few years ago when they offered their free domains.

The only reason I would use Freenom is because of their free domain service. However, it looks like they've discontinued the program because their website greets you to an error whenever you try to register a free domain.

However, the website is very slow, and it looks very shady. They ask for a lot of information, and even log your IP address for "legal purposes". Overall, I wouldn't recommend Freenom anymore since they no longer offer free domains, but it was good while it lasted.

5 anni di dominio pagato e ad appena un anno i glue record non sono più presenti, il loro sistema dns integrato totalmente fallimentare.

Freenom is okay for basic, temporary websites. Anything beyond that is for more reputable services like Porkbun. My experience with Freenom has been tainted by a slow, largely unresponsive search function. My free .tk domain name had started redirecting to pornography without warning, so I wouldn't recommend using those for anything too important.

Het bedrijf zorgt voor erg goedkope/budget vriendelijke domeinen. Over het algemeen ben ik tevreden, al is de site soms wat aan de trage kant, maar normaal hoef je een domein maar 1 keer in te stellen en daarna jaarlijks vernieuwen als je dat niet automatisch hebt. Zelf een .nl domein en na 2 jaar moest ik weer verlengen maar dit ging niet, contact opgenomen met de klantenservice maar die gaven geen reactie, toen gebeld en na 25 minuten wachten niet de juiste persoon krijgen die vervolgens iemand zou laten terugbellen, na twee weken nog niet teruggebeld. Na meer dan een maand downtime moeten overstappen op een ander domein van een andere registrar...
Tot op heden nog niet opgelost. en geen goed contact meer gehad. Nooit aan te raden.

Wenn Sie Ihren Authcode durch das Control Panel von Freenom nicht bekommen, können Sie es noch mit E-Mails, Briefen und Telefonanrufen versuchen. In der Vergangenheit hat Freenom oft auf E-Mails nicht reagiert. Eine Drohung in Briefen und Telefonanrufen mit juristischen Schritten könnte hilfreich sein, falls Sie keine Antwort bekommen.

My domains stopped working without a reason; support fixed them

From today, DNS resolution is no longer possible, the company's website has stopped working, you can no longer renew or register, access is only possible with an existing account and you can't do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. No communication received, they just disconnected everything, domains can no longer be transferred.

Luckily, I was using it for a test and experimental domain. TERRIBLE!
