Time Wasters

I bought a chair for a client through Ballard Designs and they use Fragilepak. I just got off my fourth phone call because their system keeps scheduling me for the next day. After I call and cancel it, about two hours later it schedules me again. Every time I’ve called, I’ve explained that the house is being painted, and I do not want to accept upholstery for another week. Their system cannot go out more than a couple days, which is absurd. Not everyone wants their furniture like an Amazon Prime delivery.

They cancelled on me at the last minute…

They cancelled on me at the last minute claiming a loading area on their end. At that time I requested they schedule at a later time and they still showed up while our office was closed to deliver, then refused to deliver furniture at any requested time I asked!! My advice is find another solution!! This company is horrible! They have zero customer service skills!!

How any company could use this shipping…

How any company could use this shipping partner is beyond me. First of all they take forever and then they changed the delivery date when they gave you dates to pick from. Why I asked you give us a selection when you don't follow the scheduling process. It's been 2 months since I ordered my fridge.
I will never ever use this company again or buy from a place that does. Absolutely ridiculous

This is unbelievable

This is unbelievable. I cannot believe how this company is still in business. Order number 355U1790914 for three 85" couches ordered 1/5-2024 with Crate and Barrel scheduled for delivery with FragilePak in VT (Winooski) on 02/05-2024 with a delivery window btw. 11:45-03:45. I called FragilePak within the window on 2/5/2024 to check on the status of the delivery and was informed they had to re-schedule due to truck/mechanic problems. No courtesy call, no nothing, and I had taken the day off and driven 4 hours to be there for the delivery of my furniture. I would have not found out about the no-show unless I had called FragilePak.

FragilePak offered a 02/06/2024 delivery instead which wasn't possible for me hence I declined that delivery option three times via their automated phone scheduling system ( The "push 0 if none of the suggested delivery days suit you" option of their automated system). Despite having chosen no via this automated system the first time, I kept getting a text message to call and re-schedule, hence that's why I ended up declining three times via the automated system. I also called FragilePak with a normal phone call to decommit on the suggested delivery dates of 2/6, 2/12 and 2/19 since I didn't trust they had received the information via their "automated system" since it kept sending me prompts despite me having responded no to the suggested dates. As I said, I was offered 2/6, 2/12 and 2/19 delivery options despite FragilePak has three weekly delivery days in my town (FragilePak had told me that early on). I did get a person (different ones)on the phone the three times I called to say NO to the 2/6 delivery. I wanted to make sure each person could see in their system that I had declined the 2/6 delivery suggestion, so they didn't come in vain. I then left my house in VT on 2/5 (its our second home) to go back to where we live and go to work (I am in the office - not in a work from home job).

Our door bell camera in Vermont picked up that despite of my total of six declines of a 2/6 delivery date, FragilePak attempted a 2/6/24 delivery. What does one have to do to communicate effectively with these guys? Clearly it didn't work despite my obvious OVER communication with their automated systems as well as with three different human beings working in customer service at FragilePak.

With a lot of insisting on my part I was able to reschedule the delivery for 2/9-24 (today's date) and I got a delivery window between 2:45 pm and 6:45 pm. The reason for me insisting on 2/9 and not 2/12 or 2/19 as initially suggested by FragilePak, is that we have 8 people in the house this weekend, and I gave our old furniture away on 2/4 to have space for the new furniture to arrive on 2/5 as initially planned.

My husband has been in the house since 2/8-2014 and has been in the house THE ENTIRE DAY of 2/9/2024 waiting for the delivery from FragilePak. I called FragilePak three times on 2/9/2024 within the delivery window just to follow up that the delivery was on track. I was nervous since I wanted furniture for my livingroom for my guests and ourselves. All three times when I spoke to FragilePak on 2/9/2024, I confirmed that they had my husbands cell phone number on the order, and that it specified for the drivers to call my husbands cell phone 30 minutes ahead of arrival.

FragilePak NEVER CALLED my husband. They showed up 6:42 pm on 2/9-2024. The lights were on outside as well as inside our house. My husbands car was parked outside. The house clearly displayed that someone was there. There is a doorbell with a camera. The drivers did not ring the doorbell (which would have given a huge chime on my husband's as well as on my cell phone). FragilePak did NOT knock on the door. FragilePak did not come into our house. The door was unlocked, so they could easily have announced their presence, as, and I repeat myself, my husband was in the house waiting which he had been THE ENTIRE DAY of 2/9/2024. Instead FragilePak just took a picture of a man outside our door (to prove attempted delivery, I assume) AND THEN THEY LEFT OUR HOUSE!!!

At 7:29 PM ON 2/9/2024 I called FragilePak to hear where they were, and I was told that the drivers had left because no one was at the house.The woman I spoke to said, that she could not reach the drivers by phone, nor could she reach the warehouse from which the drivers came, by phone. I now have 8 people in the house and we have no furniture at all.

I did everything I could to make sure this delivery would happen successfully, yet due to drivers who have no care about customer satisfaction or happiness, and who do not follow instructions (call ahead of time as agreed), who do not bother to use a doorbell, or knock on a door and who do not even bother to stick their head in the door and shout hello, I have no furniture for our guests to sit on. Never ever FragilePak again.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

The furniture company with which I placed an order used Fragilepak for delivery, Order 641U1788640. I spoke with them several times in advance of the delivery date, which was long past the date that was promised to me. I told them that the earliest that I could get off of work to receive the delivery was 3:00 pm and they repeatedly assured me that this would be no problem at all. However, several days prior to the promised date of delivery, they said that they could only deliver to me on Wednesday and in the morning, which is a work time for me. I requested the opportunity to speak with a supervisor several times. I was told that none were available and although I was assured that I would receive a call back soon from supervisor, I never received one.
This is an update, which I am writing on Monday, 2/12. My order is finally scheduled to be delivered in two days. We will see if that actually happens. I have still not received a call back from a supervisor, but this review seems to finally have gotten their attention. It really shouldn't have come to this. I took an entire day off of work to receive this delivery. I'm anxious to see if it actually happens, or if they cancel it again. I will update this review accordingly.
UPDATE: So, the furniture was finally delivered. However, the day before, I emailed Fragilepak Customer "Service" several times to make certain that they had the correct phone number for my smartphone so that they could keep me informed of my estimated delivery time. I then too it one step further and I called Fragilepak customer service and they too assured me that they had my correct number. Of course, on the day of delivery, they called the wrong number and it wasn't until the delivery people were at my residence that they got around to notifying them of my cell number. The service was just awful from start to finish.

I ordered a mattress, no idea where it us

I ordered a mattress, 361U1791955. It was picked up days later than they scheduled with the store with no notice to the store. Estimated delivery was February 1-7. On the 31st it became the 8-14. I called to ask why. Customer service was awful and refused to tell me anything except they wouldn’t guarantee any date it would be delivered by.

This is a needed item. I will never use them again and have told the company that shipped the mattress not to. They are not happy either.

ETA: someone here said I’d be reached out to. Haven’t been, but upon logging in I see the delivery date was yet again moved back. Strongly feel they just stole my mattress.

Absolutely terrible delivery service

Absolutely terrible delivery service. bought an ashley furniture couch through our military base furniture store. it’s been sitting at a warehouse since 12/29 STILL not delivered as of 1/15. Delivery was automatically scheduled for 1-9, which I then called and informed Id be on vacation that week. No problem, they rescheduled for 1/16. Got a text today they canceled my order “ due to weather”. My husband took off work to ensure he could be present for delivery tomorrow. I live in texas, YES, it’s cold, but no precipitation, no ice, sunny and 32 tomorrow. Now they refuse to deliver until 1/23 because “ they only deliver to military bases on tuesdays”. Another week without my FULLY paid furniture that’s been sitting in a warehouse for almost a month. About to move overseas and have movers come to move our furniture, but my couch now can’t be picked up due to this company “ only delivering tuesdays” to military bases. Will forever avoid this company. When calling to try to see what I could do I had a representative barely allow me to get a word in trying to hang up on me. AAFES needs to find another delivery service to use. I’ve been going on a MONTH trying to get my PAID for furniture.

UPDATE: They finally delivered, and while I am not happy with Innitial service, the gentlemen who delivered the table were very nice. The product was damaged but not by fragile pak. The guys were very helpful, and even though we had to refuse delivery, they remained courteous

We had a scheduled delivery for 1/15/24. The day of, we were called and told that they were canceling the delivery because of icy roads. I let them know that there were no icy roads. I then checked the tracking, and they posted a POD picture of mountains with large pine trees and several feet of snow. I told them I do not live in the mountains; there are no large pine trees where I live, and I looked at every traffic camera from Sparks, Nevada, to Gardnerville, Nevada, and all roads were clear. They lied and used some stock image to back up their claims of icy roads. I told them I could send the footage from the traffic cameras showing that the roads were completely clear and they didn't care to see them. They don't care if their delivery drivers lie. Any business that uses this company does not care about their customers.  They have countless bad reviews and should be out of business.

Excellent service from the Winooski…

Excellent service from the Winooski Vermont warehouse! Fragile Pak showed up with 2 men on the date and time they were scheduled (even in bad weather). Carried the heavy merchandise up 2 flights of stairs. Very friendly and professional.

Heads up to anyone buying furniture…

Heads up to anyone buying furniture from BedBathandBeyond that they use this company to deliver and clearly I am having problems since I researched this company to see if my issues were common and they are. I ordered a month ago and my couch has only moved one time which means it needs to move two more time before I can even schedule a delivery. At this rate, it is going to be two more months before I can schedule a delivery date. This for a purchase that said I would receive my couch in one to two weeks. The sad part is it’s an Ashley Furniture couch that Bedbathand beyond bought directly from Ashley Furniture so BBB is acting like the middleman. I could have bought the couch from Ashley Furniture myself and received it weeks ago. I was not aware of the middleman part. I was lied to about a true delivery estimate when I bought from BBB. Never again will I deal with BBB

Terrible delivery service

The first delivery they no-showed (even though they confirmed the time the day before)

The third delivery they couldn’t put the bed together due to missing hardware, they tracked dirt all over our brand new carpet, and left dirt smudges on our walls.
Crate and Barrel needs to find another delivery partner - this is not “white glove delivery” by any means.

Worst experience of my life

Worst experience of my life. I ordered a kayak online and it was shipped through Fragilpak. They somehow lost it in transit from Paris California to San Diego California. That’s a two hour drive! Mind you it’s a 12ft long 100lb kayak! How is that even possible! It’s been a month since my kayak has been ordered two weeks since it was marked for quality control for no reason and now today they finally marked it lost. Unacceptable!

Absolutely horrible service

Absolutely horrible service . Both deliverers were very rude, refused to unpack the boxes and assemble the recliners even we were willing to pay for assembly. They spoke foreign language and we had no ideas what they were saying. We asked them to call to the office and schedule assembly, but they refused in a ruder manner. They left two boxes with the chairs inside on the top of each other in the middle of the room, took a picture of them and told us that we were lucky that they brought them to the house. We never had such a bad experience with a delivery company before. Very unprofessional and poor service.

Still have not received my bed base 12/17/23

12/18/23 update - I still did not receive my Tempur pedic base today after choosing another delivery time and day.. what is going on here?? I don’t understand why it isn’t being delivered. Extremely upsetting

I’m really worried I won’t receive my order after reading all of these reviews… no one showed up to deliver my tempur pedic base 12/8/23 between 3:30p-7:30pm… missed part of work to make sure I was home to receive and sign for my order. I have never heard of this company and the reviews are definitely appalling.. I sent an email to fragilepak and they gave me a ticket number. Now what to do?? I have never had this happen to me.
