Been at a screen for 40+ years. FileZilla is a disaster. Unintelligible "Tutorials". No contact with admin(?). Wow! Probably the worst piece of software I've seen!

I have used this program for many years…
I have used this program for many years & for the most part I like & prefer it. I use to have another I used but it was much older & out of date I cant remember that name of it anymore lol.
Pros,
+ Easy to use
+ Has a lot of updates
+ Free
+ Useful for webmasters
Cons,
+ Sometimes those update nags get annoying
+ Sometimes the installers has bloatware
I do not have many things I dislike about it but for me it does what I need it to, and until then I will stick with it. When it stops being useful I will find something else.

Created a POP up window took complete control of windows 10 used control alt delete then navigated with key pad to shut down systems got control back ran defender filezilla bundler came up said low threat trust me that was anything but a low threat

FileZilla transfers files unreliably
FileZilla transfers files unreliably. I have had numerous examples of this, and it's cost me a lot of time. I now use another product (winscp) and NEVER have unreliable transfers.

!INSTALLS MALWARE!
DO NOT INSTALL FILEZILLA IT WILL INSTALL ADWARE ON TO YOUR COMPUTER. I think that many of the good reviews here are not paid by filezilla, rather users who have not noticed the adware installed on their pc, I needed 5 adware removers to remove the damn adware

Great Software, But Bloatware in the Installer
Great software overall. However, I would have rated it 5 stars if it weren't for the bloatware included in the installer.

I love FileZilla
I love FileZilla. I must not have downloaded from somewhere that adds malware because I have not had that problem ever with this. It is easy to use and fast which I like.

Schade das Tool an sich ist wirklich großartig! Jedoch kommt bei der Installation noch ein wenig Ballast mit, der erst abgewählt werden muss.
Entweder das Tool kostenpflichtig machen oder so etwas lassen ...

But the fact that the latest installer SILENTLY installs third party software that changes your search engine and other browser settings is unforgivable!

It is ok but
Been using FIlezilla for years. But I am out!
THe constant updates and changes so from one update to the other the hole thing just get worse and you have to sit for hours on the support forum looking for solutions.
OPen source is a good idea, but when it is so unreliable I rather buy some ftp that provide support.

I have always used filezilla, its free and simple to use, great for any FTP server needs, its so great. I love filezilla I use it at work, its saved me so many times, thanks for not charging filezilla!!!!! Keep it free Thanks
