J’ai passé commande le 9 décembre 2025. Le colis n’a jamais été livré.
Après un premier mail, l’entreprise m’annonce que le colis vient d’être remis au transporteur et sera livré sous 5 jours. C’était le 9 janvier et le paquet n’est toujours pas livré.
Depuis, trois autres mails ont été envoyés à l’entreprise et aucune réponse de leur part. Ma demande de remboursement est restée sans suite, alors que la somme était importante.
Je ne recommande absolument pas ce site.

Depuis la publication de cet avis, j'ai été contactée et j'ai pu obtenir un remboursement.

It's a scam site, avoid it at all costs! They take your money and never ship the goods. They claim they’ll refund you but never do... THIEVES!

UPDATE Feb 2024: They have threatened to "sending people to my city to investigate me" and "file legal actions in the court" to convince me to delete this truthful review here and on Google Reviews. I see on other reviews they did the same for other customers, so you can't even trust the average ratings, they are distorting them with these fearful tactics and many customers probably get afraid and delete their negative reviews. For clarification, after months of insisting with them with no response only after reporting them with Shopify and Visa and leaving public reviews they ended up refunding me, but the original review about how they behave with customers still stands. Note that they still promise 3-day shipping within Italy on their website, which is an absolute lie and they don't even care.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have two purchase experiences with Food in Sicily: First one (Nov 2024), they lied about having shipped the package for two months untilan order intended for Christmas arrived in late January with a printed shipping date only 5 days before delivery. Half the package arrived broken and made everything wet. They never accepted giving a refund and only offered store credit that never actually materialized. I made a second purchase in late november for Christmas 2025 one year later trying to use that imaginary credit, but they charged me again (without respecting that credit) and in this case after two months the package was still never shipped. Upon my bad review on Google Maps, they accepted giving a refund with the condition of me removing the review, and now are threatening legal actions (for a bad review because they never shipped my order!) with mafia-style WhatsApp messages ("we will send our acquaintances in [your city] to investigate you").

Food in Sicily...La tua finestra sulla Sicilia, proprio così e anche di più, poi per chi come me è una fuori sede è quel modo per sentire vicina la propria terra con tutte le sue tradizioni
culinarie...una volta assaggiate le varie bontà siciliane sarà difficile farne a meno!!!

Commande passée et jamais reçue.
Mails de relance restés sans réponse.
Suite à la parution de cet avis négatif, et après plusieurs échanges de messages Whatsapp, Food in Sicily m’a enfin remboursée !
Pour finir, Food in Sicily me menace de poursuites par leur Avocat si je ne supprime pas cet avis ou si je ne leur mets pas d’étoiles supplémentaires !

Oggetto acquistato il 17 dicembre come regalo di Natale. Consegnato il 5 gennaio.
Richieste informazioni il 24 dicembre mi viene risposto che servono 3 giorni lavorativi. Il pacco è arrivato danneggiato (fortunatamente integro l’oggetto all’interno)
Inoltre il prodotto differisce leggermente da quello che avevo ordinato (probabilmente packaging diverso ma sarebbe stato corretto avvisare il cliente)
In sostanza: prodotto non conforme, spedito/consegnato con enorme ritardo durante una festività importante, arrivato danneggiato esternamente e servizio clienti insoddisfacente.

I discovered these carob candies purely by chance and absolutely fell in love with them!
It felt like such a hidden treasure that I had to share it with the world, so I ended up ordering hundreds 😅

The products are excellent, and the service is truly top-notch. The only small hiccup was a delivery delay caused by the transporter, but when I reached out, customer service was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful.

Overall, a wonderful experience and a delicious discovery I’m so glad I made!

Da diversi anni mi servo da Food in Sicily. E confermo il grado di massima soddisfazione. Oltre ad ordinare prodotti gastronomici ( quest'anno cioccolato di Modica e panettoni di Fiasconaro) ordino sempre anche oggetti di ceramica da tenere personalmente, o da regalare alle persone care . E faccio sempre un figurone per l'unicità degli oggetti. Da consigliare sempre!

Qualità eccellente, sapori freschi, consegna rapida e imballaggio impeccabile.

Aunque el paquete llegó con retraso y un error, el servicio de atención al cliente ha sido siempre impecable. Transparente y sincero. Valoro también la solución propuesta para arreglar el error.
A su disculpa hay q reconocer que antes de navidades no es el mejor momento para hacer un pedido de Sicilia a Andalucia. Seguramente repetiré

I tried several traditional Sicilian products and was truly impressed by their quality and authentic flavor. The pastries were fresh and delicious, the pistachio crich and fragrant, and the packaging very beautiful. These products capture the true taste of Sicily—highly recommended!

Commande passée en 08.2025. mi novembre, toujours rien reçu et un meme message qui indique que le colis va être remis au transporteur...ou a été remis au transporteur... quelle arnaque !

I suspect I’ve been scammed. My purchase was made almost a month ago with no updates to the arrival. Status been “order processing” since it was placed. I spent a lot of money on products I was really excited to receive. I’ve asked for tracking information and arrival ETA’s for several days now. I get told on their WhatsApp that they’ll send me an update with tracking, and then they don’t. Over and over. I’ve just now asked that they issue me a refund since they can provide no proof that a package has ever even been sent to me. Such a disappointment

I ordered food and the delivery apparently got lost in the mail. I asked about it and didnt get any replies. I oly got replies after rating the store online. So there is some customer service there, even though it is very hard to reach.
