Very prompt service. Installers managed to insulate in impossible roof spaces. 3 monthly site visit today shows that humdity levels in roof spaces have dropped. House feels warmer too! Thank You

We had our loft Insolation and roof…
We had our loft Insolation and roof spayed with First Stop. They did a professional job , and saved us the added expense of having our sola panels removed and stored while the roof was being treated.
We were really impressed with the job, our roof looks like it's new. And we have had a number of comments from neighbours and friend asking if the roof is new. Outstanding service and they provided a follow up service, to ensure we were happy with the work. I would highly recommend First Stop home improvements.

Insulation Assessment
Had Jared the insulation assessor come round to assess my insulation on Wednesday 17th January, after having the appointment cancelled twice due to car issues and illness. He was very polite and professional. The results were rather surprising, considering my house is only 5 years old, with moisture levels of the timber being around 14 and the heat in the loft being higher than it should, which suggests a lot of heat is being lost. It certainly makes you wonder about the quality of craftmanship these days. Jared even said the builders had constructed some kind of work-horse in the loft which they had never dismantled! Unfortunately, at this moment in time, the price is just far too great for me to proceed with the proposed works, which included Open Cell Insulation, boarding a third of my attic space and a loft hatch and ladder. Perhaps I will be able to proceed at some time in the future.

First Stop Home Improvements - Loft insulation in a tight space.
First Stop Home Improvements have carried out a loft insulation contract for us. This was carefully managed, with a visit from the surveyor and within two days the work was completed. The access to our loft space is fairly limited, but was not a problem for the contractors. The very old fibre glass insulation was carefully removed and new fibre glass insulation installed, including into areas that had not been insulated previously. The men worked very cleanly laying dust sheets and hoovering up after they had finished. Altogether an excellent job. Thank you very much to all concerned.

Roof Insulation
The assessor, was very professional and polite. He explained everything to us clearly, including showing us pictures of the loft. He explained how the insulation would benefit us and gave us a quote for the work. The guys who did the spraying of the insulation where very polite and friendly, the work was completed in a couple of hours, and they tidied up after themselves. The 10 year Roof Insurance was a bonus. We were very please with the work done, and would gladly recommend this service to others.

Not sure I’m qualified enough on roof insulation to actually understand all of it
I also wasn’t quite sure the droplet marks on the inside of my hatch entrance to the loft was caused by moisture think it’s where we had put essential oils on the inside of the hatch when renewed it we shook a load on that’s the only thing I would disagree with that he said it was moisture droplets I disagree
The workman that sprayed the foam in was very efficient also clean and tided the work carried out all seemed to be done in a professional way
At the moment to be honest I don’t think my house feels any warmer that it did before having the roof insulated perhaps that will change in the coming weeks

Loft insulation North Hampshire
From the moment Sam came to see us we had a positive experience from the company. Jason and Rob, the installers, deserve a five star on their own. Having booked a start time of 9.15 am they turned up within five minutes having left Cardiff at 7am. They were friendly, worked hard and left everything clean and tidy. The staff in the office were also friendly and helpful. Our bungalow is definitely warmer when the heating is switched off.

Knight in shining armour
Came on time work was carried out without any hassle, premises left clean & tidy. All staff I dealt with were very friendly, helpful and polite.
Ian went that extra mile for me and became my Knight in shining armour when I foolishly locked myself out when moving the car for him to start work. He tried everything to see if entry could be found elsewhere. He phoned a colleague, then finally a local locksmith. I hope I’ve learnt a very costly lesson not to leave keys in back of locks.
