The technicians were punctual and…

Warren, Mick and Dave were punctual and professional. Carried out the work well and on time and explained how the phones will work. I would definitely recommend.

A fist class job, going 'above and beyond', and all at the right price.

Revision to Earlier Review...
Despite the job being 99% complete (which is when most companies 'tail off' and it takes ages to get the small snagging items done), Firstcom Europe continue to 'smash it out of the park'. Nigel the 2nd Fix Engineer turned up as promised, and always with a smile on his face (not sure what he's been doing prior to visiting us! 🤔). There were just a few 'tidying up' items to attend to like shortening/replacing the old cables in the cabinet, but once again Nigel went the extra mile and ensured that all Phone cables were BLACK and all Data cables were RED to make things simpler for future engineers service and maintenance visits, and he also gave us an induction as to which router fed what etc. so even us 'IT illiterate' folk half understood what was going on with all the electronics and cables, and what went where etc.
After Nigel had left we discovered an issue with one of our PC's, which wasn't receiving emails and which couldn't access the internet, so we reported the issue to John our account manager back at Firstcom office and he immediately spoke to Nigel who rang us to discuss the issue.
I explained the problems that we were having, which seemed obscure as Nigel hadn't been dealing with any cables or sockets in that particular area, but nevertheless Nigel volunteered to come back to site and have a look.
Nigel did a thorough check of the cables and sockets from PC to socket, and socket to switches in the cabinet, and there was indeed an issue... but imagine our embarrassment when we found out that the office dog had been under the desk and chewed a cable, which had in turn 'shorted-out' the data socket.
Nigel quickly provided a new cable from PC to socket (at high level away from the dog!), and replaced the socket connector, then tested everything out again and left us happy once again.
Now this was definitely 'going the extra mile', because the dogs actions were no fault of Firstcom and they would have been perfectly correct to say so and to book another engineer to come back another time at additional cost and carry out a repair, but in this instance Firstcom and Nigel just got on with it and had us back up and running in 20 minutes - superb!
This is just another example as to why we are so happy with Firstcom as our telecoms and IT provider... a first class job, going above and beyond where required, and all at the right price.

First Class service from Firstcom

We had First Class service from your team when they installed our new Broadband and Phones. Warren, Mick and Dave were very friendly and explained everything they were doing. I would absolutely recommend Firstcom Europe.

Do not use if you own a business!

Really poor service quality. The broadband has constant problems and never gets fixed. On top of this they ported my business line away to a different company despite me telling them not to, this cost us thousands and crippled my business for over a week and they DONT CARE! On top of that the service just doesn't work. We have had constant internet drop outs, slow speeds, poor call quality which we log with 'support' but nobody ever fixes. Genuinely if you own a business DONT use these guys they are TERRIBLE and will cost you time and money. We want to leave but they want £2063 to leave despite them not providing the service expected! Sarah in billing is rude and unhelpful, literally nobody cares about us. Should have stuck with BT!

Following a full investigation, we can confirm that your broadband service was ‘slammed’ by an unknown telecoms provider in March 2025, which unfortunately left you without service for two days. As soon as this was identified, Firstcom immediately placed an order to transfer the service back, covering all expedition costs in full. A gesture of goodwill was made for the downtime experienced.
Regarding your comments about ongoing service issues, our records show no broadband faults logged throughout 2025, other than the period affected by the slamming incident.
You requested details of our Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process, and a deadlock letter was issued on 30th May 2025. To date, we have not received any notification from CICAS that this was taken further.
The fees you refer to were issued following your request for your contract end date and any early-termination charges.
We are sorry to hear that your interaction with Sarah did not meet your expectations. Your comments will be shared with her manager, as this is not reflective of the level of service we strive to deliver. Please be assured that we genuinely care about our customers and take service issues seriously, particularly when a customer is without broadband.

Excellent

The team was extremely helpful and responsive. I was always able to reach them by email or phone, and they consistently replied to my emails promptly. Charlotte provided exceptional support throughout the entire process, ensuring everything went smoothly.

Great Service
Charlie's communication throughout the IT issue was really good and resolved the problem I had in such a short space of time. This will be of great help to me whilst working remotely. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Personal Service

Carly has been supporting us with a big installation at our head office over the last few months. She was a delight to work with and always kept us up to date. The switch over to new line and equipment was seemless with no downtime. Great experience

Migration of broadband.

Both Collette and Charlotte were very helpful, always returned calls and emails promptly. Our migration was uneventful which we were very grateful for as we’d been dreading the change over. Everything went without hitch and Charlotte called and emailed to check everything was working ok. Thank you both very much.

Bate Scaffolding Services Ltd

Us here at Bate Scaffolding Services Ltd are very happy with our phone software provided by Firstcom, Luke Eden is the engineer they sent to us to set us up with our new phones and he went above and beyond to make sure we we're all set up and had all the help and information we needed, even helped us personally a few weeks later to set up one of our members of staff that works from home, he was very polite and helpful. We would highly recommend this company, thank you.

Had our phone system upgraded yesterday by Warren, best thing we can say is we didn't really notice he was here. Minimal disruption on the day and new phones are working a treat.

Warren was quality sorting out our new systems, equipment and network cabinet.

Talked us through everything and how it all worked.

The tidy up job he has done on our network box is unreal and transformed our office. We couldn't be more pleased.

We had a problem with Microsoft 365…

We had a problem with Microsoft 365 earlier this morning. No staff members could access emails. I sent a message to the service desk and Oliver responded he has been amazing throughout the whole process and got us back up & running. Big thank you to Oliver!

Excellent service

Had a great service from the company. All set up very quickly. Service engineer was very helpful in explaining how to use the phones and Carly Winrow the Provisioning Co-ordinator called to make sure all was working and has also sent us user guides and helpful links. Excellent service.
