I recently completed the residential TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture course with Firebrand, and it exceeded every expectation I had. If you’re looking for a training experience that allows you to focus 100% on learning and walk away fully certified, this is exactly the place to be.

The residential setup at Wyboston Lakes is outstanding. The facility is purpose‑built for deep learning: quiet, comfortable, and completely distraction‑free. You have everything you need on site — great accommodation, all meals and snacks, 24/7 classroom access, and even a fully equipped gym to unwind and reset between sessions. The staff are friendly, supportive, and genuinely committed to making your stay smooth and comfortable. It’s the perfect environment to stay focused and absorb a huge amount of content in a short time.

But the real highlight of the course was our instructor, Professor Fayed. He is truly exceptional — the kind of teacher you rarely come across. His mastery of the subject is unquestionable, but what sets him apart is his dedication to his students. He spent personal time with us outside of scheduled hours, patiently helping with concepts, answering questions, and making sure everyone felt confident. On exam day, he even waited outside the testing room for each of us to finish, just to check how we did and offer support. His commitment to our success was genuine and constant.

It’s rare to find a professor who cares this deeply about every individual in the class. Thanks to his guidance, clarity, and encouragement, every single one of us passed and left fully certified. I cannot express enough gratitude for his effort, passion, and availability throughout the course.

Firebrand’s total‑immersion approach really works. The structure, the pace, the official materials, the mock exams, and the on‑site Pearson VUE testing centre all combine to make the certification process smooth and achievable. It’s intense, but incredibly effective.

If you’re serious about getting TOGAF certified quickly and properly, I can’t recommend Firebrand’s residential course — and especially Professor Fayed — highly enough.

I did the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Combined 10th Edition and my instructor was Dr. Fayed. He enthousiastically presented the theory with pratice exemplaar and video material. Prep to overview the material by quizes. Which gave me z'n excellent result at the exam.

When I was a teenager wanting to learn more about IT and Cyber Security, I wish Firebrand was around due to the superb course instructors, mentorship and world-class quality learning. Every Firebrand instructor has a lengthy experience with real-world IT systems, finance, police, military, specialist roles, self employed etc. My time was with Perran James, Perran understood and helped support me with my apprenticeship from start to finish, I encountered many struggles during the 2 years and every step of the way, Perran was there to support and educate myself to be and do better. Sometimes all we need is the right person at the right time to encourage and support to reach our full potential.

Even though it was a packed 3-day course with long learning hours, Dr. Fayed made it genuinely enjoyable. Great training! Dr.Fayed took us in 3 days through the theory of the TOGAF 10 enterprise architecture framework, which is a major performance in itself, but also trained us to work with the framework ourselves so we could do the practitioner exam. Long days, but the mix of lectures, videos, interactive tests and exercise made it easy. Excellent training

Fazit: Die Organisation bei Firebrand bestand genau aus 1 Mail. Wenig Infos darüber, was Hybrider Lernansatz eigentlich bedeutet bei Firebrand (10-12 Stunden Online). Der Trainer war kompetent, was das Wissen angeht, jedoch schroff im Umgang der Teilnehmer, wenig Empathie und Verständnis. Wiederworte und Diskussionen wurden sofort mundtot geredet. Dadurch stellte sich schnell die Frage bei Mir: Warum bin ich überhaupt hier?

Eine erfolgreiche Prüfung nach 2 Tagen abzulegen ,um die AZ-104 zu bestehen, ist so realistisch wie im Lotto zu gewinnen. Zumindest hatte ich die Prüfung nicht bestanden.

Da hilft es auch nicht 10-12 Stunden pro Tag zu lernen bei Firebrand. Es gab kein Active Recall oder Spaced Repetition um den Stoff zu festigen.

Hier gilt nur eins: Bulimie artiges Lernen wie in der Schulzeit. Schade

Ich kann Firebrand nicht weiterempfehlen.

Absolutely incredible experience, cannot recommend highly enough. My apprenticeship leader Perran James was so supportive to my learning or personal needs. He was there every step of the way no matter the issue with a really friendly personality. I would not have reached my grade of distinction without him and i don't think i could have gotten through the apprenticeship too not only was he my mentor he became a friend. Firebrand as whole is a very accommodating company from the first day to the last with each site visit being a fun but intense learning journey where you leave felling more confident in what you are studying. If i could rate it 6 out of 5 stars i would.

Very attentive when on residential in Wyboston Lakes. Perran was such a great mentor who dedicated a lot of personal time to developing me. With the training and guidance, I ended up gaining a Distinction due to Perran's support.
