everything was okay honestly, but i’m an adult and the person overheard my mom say oh hell no and i said i’ll make the decision and get back as soon as possible and instead i was told “im just gonna cancel your application”. it was cancelled because i “didnt have the money to move in” when i very much did and just needed to think on it being that it was 9pm and it is a huge financial decision to make instantaneously especially at 18. all i needed was a few minutes. but other than that it was ok.

to work with, and the communication from Findigs was great.

Customer service is terrible. I was accepted to lease the property. I wanted to pay via direct deposit and was told my acceptance was cancelled because I didn't conform to their companies policies. A cashiers check was wanted. Still in the 20th century.

I feel as though u went up on the rent before I even got in there and the deposit went up too, the way things has went up called inflation,u made it too high to get after all the information I had to provide and I had a responsible co-signer,u would've been very pleased with me renting the house instead of someone that doesn't take care of ur property,I do hope u get someone in it that will take care of it,cause it is very nice,sorry I wasn't that person good luck.

Dismal UX
Here's an incomplete list of things that frustrated me about using Findigs to apply as a guarantor to another person's application:
- Throughout the process it was unclear whether my status was actually guarantor and not tenant. It was impossible for me to specify that myself, and very little about the UI indicated it. I only proceeded when someone in the tech support chat confirmed.
- Much of the form seemed like irrelevant questions for a guarantor but I couldn't proceed without answering them.
- Several questions demanded information I couldn't provide (e.g. email address for a company that takes emails through an online form and doesn't expose a public email address). I had to dig around the internet to find the closest thing to correct because there was no way to say N/A or provide a note about the exception.
- At the end of the form there was a prominent warning telling me I was applying to the place alone, in spite of prior assurance that my application was attached to the actual prospective tenant's. Tech support instructed me to ignore the warning and proceed, which had me quite nervous.
- Charging a separate application fee to the guarantor is ridiculous. That should be covered by the main application fee.

The agents stay in contact and keep you updated. I applied for the wrong home and they were able to easily fix that for me.

My experience with findigs was great, smooth, and easy!
