Feefo asked me to write a review of a Bosch gas hob. I quote "give as much information as possible" But guess what, they didn't like the fact I mentioned a previous hob ( different manufacturer) to offer comparison and reason for new hob....Surely one of the reasons for reviews is so that people not only get users impression of the product under review, but also the rationale for purchasing that particular product, but not so. As someone else stated, they only want to publish what they deem worthy, so hardly impartial reviewing taking place.

Feefo systems are a total joke and not fit for purpose. Auto Trader is one of the companies that use Feefo and on several occasions when leaving feedback (positive & negative), the feedback does not appear. I spoke with customer services at Feefo and their response was "we can't see any feedback left". Looking at other people's comments on here, lots have experienced similar issues.
If Feefo were professional, they would investigate the matter to check if their are faults with their system - which it clearly is.

Feefo are bias/they do not put your bad review up
Feefo are a terrible reveiw company, they only let certain reviews go through! Terrible service they don't even want to put our bad reviews up and decline it for no reason or take ages to put a review up, as if they are protecting these con car companies!
The other downfall is we can only right 1 review in 6 months, which is really silly as we can't even respond back to the company, useless Feefo service!

I contacted Feefo directly as I wanted to write a review on a company but was worried about them suing me albeit they have other reviews on Feefo all 5 out of 5. I recently went to Court, received an award and was told that I could write an honestly held review. I am concerned that disreputable companies such as this use Feefo to mislead their potential customers however in support of Feefo they are doing their best to stop this and Sophie in Compliance has been outstanding. I can finally post a review to stop others being misled. Feefo wants to help consumers but there will always be some companies misusing these forums.

I found Feefo reviews are inaccurate misleading the public and worrying because you are publishing only good reviews or faking reviews.
I have written review about a car rental and they send me an Email to say :
unfortunately we were unable to publish your review. Our moderation team rejected your review for the following reason(s):Competitor or Pricing Comments
It mentions specific price details or competitor companies by name.
The conclusion that Feefo platform is untrustworthy and they are looking only for a good reviews to publish .

Biased review publication
Ir is my opinion that Feefo generates biased reviews.
I honestly provided feedback on an item I bought from Cotswolds. I have nerve damage, and find it difficult to use fiddly methods to put on and take off garments. I remarked that the item had deteriorated in quality since the previous I had bought. I only mentioned one of the quality deteriorations, that being the tiny popper studs to close the waistband, as I found it impossible to pop the studs. If this is not a fair and potentially useful bit of feedback, then what is? Feefo decided to publish my overall rating for Cotswolds, but not the detailed item feedback, which is completely outrageous.

I DONT TRUST FEEFO reviews.
Over a year ago, I wrote to feefo to inform them that the reviews for a specific supplier/vendor were biased in suppliers favour, and explained clearly the bias. Reply was all marketing guff. They DID NOTHING, happy to leave the bias.
The business (kiwihousesitters) I was asked to review by Feefo for has 2 types of customers - one paying (housesitters) and one non-paying (homeowners). FEEFO reviews do not indicate which type of customer review is from. Important.
Majority of the reviews are from the non-paying customers (home owners), so of course they are great. Housesitters, the customer type who pays had the real reviews.
Then this year, aug 2025, feefo sent me another review request and I see they have still not fixed this bias. The only good thing is now in aug 2025 both customers are paying to the supplier (kiwihousesitters). Problem though the history 3000 odd reviews are majority biased due to feefo inability to be transparent, honest and unbias.
That means for me, FEEFO is still as dodgy as. Yesterday I noticed this company (kiwihousesitters) declares on their website they "awarded customer service", awarded by whom ?? yep feefo. Awarded for a high volume of reviews from non-paying customers for free service. Hardly an award with any integrity.
Lack of integrity and lack of transparency going on in reviews, reduces the credibility of both Feefo and all companies who use their service.

Wrote a review of a product a few days after receiving it. Feefo decided, providing no evidence, and having made no approach to verify with me, not to publish it as it « believed » it was inaccurate.( it wasn’t, it was very carefully written to be entirely factual)
Today I am trying to leave a review about another product from a different business, but am not allowed to until 4 weeks after purchase, by which time many customers may have avoided receiving and having to return a product which is not as advertised. Even the business acknowledges this is the case, in correspondence with them today!

1. I withdraw any and all consent you may claim to have to use, publish, transfer, or otherwise process my reviews, whether for or any other brand, now or in the future.
2. Under Article 6(1) GDPR, you require a valid legal basis to process my personal data (including reviews linked to my identity). Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. I hereby explicitly deny and withdraw any such consent.
3. Under Article 17 GDPR (Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten), I require you to ensure that none of my reviews are copied, migrated, or published on the Feefo platform or any affiliated system.
4. Your previous answer suggesting I “submit a review” or contact the company is irrelevant and evasive. My request concerns the prohibition of further processing of my reviews. As the data processor and/or controller of the Feefo platform, you are legally obliged to comply.
5. If I do not receive written confirmation within 14 days that none of my reviews will be published, displayed, or transferred to Feefo, I will escalate this matter by filing formal complaints with:
o The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens),
o The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and
o The European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
Furthermore, please note that under Article 82 GDPR, you may be liable for damages (including legal expenses) resulting from unlawful processing of my data.
This letter serves as a final warning and formal notice. I expect a written confirmation from your legal department that my reviews will not be used in any way.

I was asked to review another company that I did business with and I provided an honest review. Feefo edited my review and included one sentence. When I requested that the review be removed as there was no point keeping a one sentence review, they removed the comments and gave the company 5 stars. No business should trust Feefo to get honest reviews for them. Here's a 1 star review that you guys can't edit or twist to your liking! Deceptive and manipulative.

En lisant un peu les commentaires, vous pourrez constater qu'il y a peu d'avis négatifs...
Comme je dénonçais certaines choses d'une marque d'électro-ménager, j'en conclus que ça dérangeait et que mon avis n'a pas été publié ( alors que j'avais reçu un lien suite à achat mais plus de 6 mois après...)

Ich wurde nach dem Urlaub in einem Novasol-Ferienhaus mehrfach per Email von Feefo zu einer Bewertung auf diesem angeblich unabhängigen Portal aufgerufen. Jetzt bin ich dem nachgekommen und die haben den Text stumpf gelöscht! Wohl doch nicht so unabhängig von Novasol, wie andere Erfahrungen hier nahelegen.
Meine Novasol-Erfahrung und Bewertung war folgende:
Anreise war an einem Freitag, durch Stau erst spät abends. Was macht man als Erstes? Zimmer aussuchen, Betten beziehen, Koffer auspacken und Schlafen gehen. In einem Zimmer müffelte es extrem vom unterm Bett her, also erstmal Grundreinigung, zudem funktionierte dort das Deckenlicht nicht. Dann ist man eh schon angenervt und wach, also wenigstens noch einmal Duschen und in den Pool: nächstes Ärgernis, der Pool ist eklig versifft, die Wände unter Wasser komplett gelb-braun (auf eigentlich blauen Fliesen). Aber auf einem Schild stand ja „der Poolservice kommt unangemeldet und hat einen Schlüssel“. Schon etwas grenzwertig, man kann nie wissen, wann plötzlich ein Fremder unangemeldet in der Wohnung steht, aber immerhin die Hoffnung die kommen noch und machen den sauber, auf dem Schild stand „diesen Service übernehmen wir für Sie“.
Am Samstagmorgen ging es in die (mal was Positives, schöne, geräumige und gut ausgestattete) Küche zum Frühstück machen. Dort fanden wir einen Zettel vor, wohl vom Hausmeister, der uns dort schriftlich anbot, für 2600 DK (ca. 350€) die Endreinigung durchzuführen, den Betrag sollten wir in bar in einem beiliegendem Umschlag hinterlegen.
Diese Endreinigung, die ganz sicher vor unserer Anreise nicht stattgefunden hat und laut Novasol im Vorfeld zunächst 537€ kosten sollte, hatten wir bereits bei Buchung abgelehnt, um die Endreinigung bei Abreise selbst durchzuführen. Mit einem Mal kostet die 350? Kurios zunächst. Das Wetter war durchgehend schlecht, dafür kann keiner was, aber es gibt ja Wlan - dachten wir. Das ist am Montag direkt ausgefallen, auf Anruf bei Novasol versprach man uns, ein Techniker käme am nächsten Tag. Dazu kam dann am nächsten Tag eine Email, aber kein Techniker. Weiterer Anruf, weitere Zusage „Techniker kommt gleich“ - Fehlanzeige, kam keiner. Am Mittwochnachmittag steht plötzlich ein Novasolmitarbeiter vor der Tür. Der Poolreiniger oder Techniker, endlich, dachten wir. Der gute Mann begab sich für ca. 5 Minuten zum Pool, hielt da 3 oder 4 mal kurz ein Gerät rein. Als er raus kam, war der Pool genauso versifft wie zuvor, ausser das auf den Fliesen aussenherum jetzt weisse Chlorflecken klebten, die er uns allen Ernstes zur Reinigung hinterliess. Immerhin, das Wlan Problem hat er mit tel. Unterstützung gelöst nach „nur“ 3 Tagen Ausfall…. Bevor er dann wieder fuhr, sprach er noch auf seinen Zettel in der Küche an, ob wir das denn jetzt bezahlen würden, die Endreinigung, wirkte ziemlich angespannt als wir das verneinten. Da hatten wir dann schon so eine Vorahnung was noch kommt. Wir hatten mit 7 Personen bei 22 Betten naturgemäß nur wenige Räume genutzt, den tollen Garten wegen des Wetters leider gar nicht, haben dennoch vor Abreise die Reinigungsanweisungen nach der Novasol-Checkliste penibel in 4 Stunden Kleinarbeit abgearbeitet, der Pool selbst ist jedoch nicht unsere Aufgabe. Die Bude selbst haben wir tiptop sauber hinterlassen, anders als vorgefunden. Eine Abnahme unserer Reinigung durch Novasol erfolgte nicht.
Kaum zuhause angekommen erhielten wir auch schon eine Rechnung für Nachreinigung über 537 €.
Eine bodenlose, wenn auch durch das Verhalten des Serviemitarbeiters vorhersehbare Frechheit. Ich unterstelle es war egal wie sauber oder dreckig man das hinterlässt, die Rechnung wäre in jedem Fall gekommen, schon weil man das „350 €-Angebot“ ausgeschlagen hat. Das riecht nach organisiertem Betrug, wir erwägen rechtliche Schritte.
