I have a 4K video cam and record my group performances. Sometimes I forget to check the battery and if it runs out of juice while recording, the video file becomes useless as it has no metadata saved.
I tried wondershare video recovery for free trial to see if it works on Oct 24th. It did indeed and saved my video! I purchased the product online using paypal. Unfortunately it was linked to my wife's email, which made it difficult to install on my computer with my email address. I called the customer service dept and got right through to Jerry in customer support. It took him about 15 minutes to figure out how to resolve the issue. It's now up and running and I can't thank Jerry enough! *****

Great when it works but to many issues. Any issues are always blamed on service or mobile phone, never the actual app. I've given up sending reports and evidence as they do nothing. One day it showed my daughter in the middle of a dual carriage way when in fact she was at school. The particular location was near school and a very dangerous crossing.

Mojoe was outstanding. I use to teach customer service seminars in my career as a corporate performance analyst. He touched all the right bases in terms of being Very technically competent, very patient, very analytical and took the time to walk me through each step.
Now, for the rest of your customer service peocess you folks need a lot of work. I tried bought Wondershare 14 Thurs Oct 13 it took me until Sunday Oct 16 to talk to a live person that could help me. The problem was all on me but I did not know that intil Moje helped me. Plus the music you play on the IVR is the most irritating music to listen to while your waiting for ever. I was told someone would be wit me in 13 minutes. I waited 30 and nothing. I did get emails and that was good but very confusing directions in the emails. Hope this helps. You need to hire more people like Mojoe.

Wondershare FamiSafe is a trash software.

Worse Customer Service:

Jaycee, Barry, Leo, Pat are useless. Sent 18 email to resolve my issue or get refund, didn't provide any solution, told me to give them access to my computer through team viewer or call their office. Every time different person replied to my email and each time they kept asking the same questions as the previous person.

Subscription Plan:

I subscribed to 3 months plan, since it came with 3 days free trial, but when logged into the dashboard I saw that my subscription was annual plan. Told them about the issue but they didn't provide any solution.

Can't use the iPhone's features:

I can't use the app on iPhone since it requires "Wondershare Connect" and I installed it but it crashes when you open it. I asked them to send me the version which works on my device but they said they can't do that.

Do not spend your money on a Wondershare product. Their refund policy does not provide peace of mind for a customer. It is not a stress free experience. Company will decline a refund until they are convinced their engineering team or code is at fault. You will jump through hoops and more hoops in a maze of micro frustrating experiences. It will test your patience and how you value your time.

Product does not work as advertised. Cooperated with customer service instructions, uninstalled and reinstalled app, requested log files from computer and sent to engineering department, was promised I'd hear back from team within 24 hours and DID NOT hear back. Have tried unplugging and replugging wires, restarting computer and restarting phone, updating my software. Etc. As a customer, I made a good faith effort to comply with company troubleshooting instructions.

Would not recommend doing business with.

Wondershare did contact me as can be seen in their reply below. After a number of back an forth they were prepared to re-offer what they had offered in late November other than with whatever upgrades that had occurred in the interim. Again considerable time and frustration to arrive at what was offered nearly 8 months prior. In the interim because they shut down PDF Editor I had to find another program to take care of work that needed to be done. Basically I went back to them asking why I would accept what should have benn 8 months earlier. Given their propensity to upgrade programs and then expect to receive more compensation for existing programs that no longer work does not give me a lot of comfort in their business model. If I am going end up having to repay I might as well find a different software company. Unfortunately their software does work well in my experience. However I only like to pay for a program once unless it is laid out that there is an annual fee up front,

In late 2021 I had an issue with Wondershare and their Uniconverter program. I have posted a review on that episode so will not go through the details. I had spent numerous hours and emails to get the issue resolved. I made the point that although the issue with Uniconverter had been resolved I was a very unhappy customer. Wondershare came back and offered a selection of other software as compensation for all my time and frustration. I was impressed and took them up on the offer. I selected Wondershare PDF element as compensation expecting that I would have ongoing use of the program. Approximately 5 months later Wondershare has cancelled access to the program other than a trial basis. When I contacted Wondershare they came back and told me that PDF element was a monthly program and I had used it for a few months and was no longer had access unless I wish to sign up for a monthly fee.

This is the same stunt they pulled on Uniconverter. I had paid for a program. They did an update on the program I had bought a few months before and it no longer worked. I could pay a fee to upgrade. That was not the original contract. Now they pull the same thing on PDF element. To say the least I am far from pleased with their business model which seems to be once they had you on the hook it is keep paying. I have to admit so far I have been pleased with both uniconiverter and PDF element software. It would appear they are competent at developing software but their business ethics are questionable at least as I see it.

A new serious software problem between WIN11 and Wondershare has been solved by the engineers of Wondershare. I have appreciated the help and the follow-up of their team.

I'm currently using Wondershare Uniconverter and really like it very much. I saw that Wondershare has a Video Editing program. I had a number of questions about the program and marketing. Each time I sent in a question I received a prompt detailed answer. The editing program look very comprehensive. I believe I will enjoy it. I very much like the prompt customer service. If the Video Editing program works as well as Uniconverter I'll be adding it to my computer.

The support staff is great. However I don't know why the version 11 will not export. This is the second time I have tried to export and I am prompted to purchase as though I have the free version.

Its an awesome software make it easy and professional to do great videos... Highly Recommended
