Oversell their platform

I think Fairling are basically good sales people who oversell what their platform can do.

The only person who ever messaged me on the platform wanted me to offer him drop shipping and didn’t actually have a store. I reported him to Fairling, and it took them over 2 weeks to remove him from the platform. And I even had to follow up with them, so I’m not sure if they would have removed him. Anyway, of all the money I’ve wasted on my business - this one is my biggest regret. Save your money or try out one of the other wholesale platforms which are commission based as I’ve had better experience there and they offer free shipping services.

We are primarily a marketing platform and not an ordering or selling platform. In addition, retailers con contact directly. However, we are out of it from that process and it is all up to them and their rules and negotiations. We have no influence on the pricing or the shipping conditions, because those are theirs.

Our retailers are also subject to strict admission and they were the first case in 7 years to report such an occurrence to us. So we had to check intensively before drawing consequences. In the end, we acted as you wanted. Now we only get a 1 star rating after all. We don't think that's fair.

Hilfreicher und schneller Support. Wertvolle Kontakte

Der Einstieg bei Fairling ist super einfach. Der zugewiesene Support-Ansprechpartner, hilft bei der Erstellung eines beeindruckendes Profils und unterstützt auch weiterhin schnell bei aufkommenden Fragen.

Meine Fairling Betreuerin kam nach ein paar Wochen selbstständig auf mich zu und hat mir in einem ausführlichen Telefonat Feedback zu meinen Kontakten und Klicks gegeben und gemeinsam mit mir weitere, zielgerichtete Kampagnen aufgesetzt.

Die Möglichkeit meine Zielgruppe, d.h. Stores nach Städten, Styles, Marken und Produkten zu selektieren ist grandios.

Danke Fairling für euren schnellen, sehr freundlichen und persönlichen Support und natürlich die wertvollen Kontakte, die ich für mein Business gewinnen konnte.

This is an absolute waste of time and…

This is an absolute waste of time and money. And if you don’t get any contacts they make you feel like your brand is not good enough. We do well everywhere else and don’t need this belittling attitude.
Go and join a wholesale platform and use your money for whatever you need but don’t waste it on Fairling!

Because of that it is very important that the platform is used actively to generate the best results. We usually recommend to send out at least 1 advertisement per month to your selected target audience. By doing so, you can make sure that shop owners fully get to know your brand and remain updated on your products.

Because of that and since you have not made use of your included Performance Calls to optimize your advertisements, we definitely see a lot of unused potential for your amazing brand in our network. Participation in fairling has yielded…

Participation in fairling has yielded nothing.
We've been putting out a lot of time and effort.
The team and support is very willing, nevertheless we didn't have any revenue during a 2 year period.

Update 31-1-2023
We've been granted a 3-month extension. We are currently on a campaign run, hope we will get some win-win situations with retailers from Germany.

Amazing platform. Greatest team

We signed up with Fairling in October 2021 and after our first ad campaign, we managed to receive a bunch of messages asking about the product. Unfortunately due to many external issues, we were not able to squeeze the juice out of everything the platform has to offer as we were not consistent with our ads.
The team behind Fairling is super understanding and after speaking about our situation with them, they were very kind in allowing us to continue for 3 more months. This is prove that they truly care about their brands and stores and want them to do well.
In all honesty, one of the most dedicated teams I've had the pleasure to work with.

Tollen Service von Fairling

Katharina hat uns wirklich einen tollen Service geboten. Sie besuchte uns auf der Messe in Hamburg und konnte sich sehr gut in unser Produkt hineinversetzen. Sie hat wirklich eine sehr schöne Kampagne für SOXS geschaffen, in der alle Aspekte unserer Marke gut und deutlich zum Ausdruck kommen. Sie hat alle Vereinbarungen proaktiv erfüllt, und ihr Informationssystem gibt einen guten Einblick, wer sich wann und wo für unsere Marke interessiert.

So far we are very happy with Fairling and the support from the team (we are in contact with Antonia and Susana). The tips we get to improve our performance on the platform are very helpful. Now we just need to implement them and hopefully see the results soon :)

Very helpful team!

We are very satisfied with the cooperation with FAIRLING. The regular performance calls are very helpful, as they give us tips on how to make the ads even better. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly. In the end, what matters is that you invest enough time yourself in regularly placing ads and contacting retailers, otherwise no new contacts will be made. But that's also what they make clear from the beginning and always in the calls. We are curious to see what else will come up in the next few months. Thank you!

Straightforward Platform & Helpful Team

We recently onboarded with FAIRLING and so far have found the platform easy to use and set up. We had an onboarding call with Jacqueline and then our strategy call with Susana, both who have been extremely helpful in showing us how to make the most of the platform. We have started advertising and have received profile visits, catalogue downloads and been added to potential customer's favourites. We will continue to follow the advice and hope to see the benefits soon. I have given 4 stars for now, the 5th star will come when we generate leads into sales.

So far we are very happy.

Zetu Gratitude.

Hello Fairling.

We are super glad we made this decision. Antonia has been very helpful letting us know what we could do better to utilise the platform and her feedback has led to 3 interested shops and our first retailer purchase in Hamburg. We have a lot more work to do but we feel supported and not alone.

Leider nur rausgeschmissenes Geld - null Resonanz von Läden

Per Mail wurde ich von Fairling geworben und habe ein Sonderangebot für Start-Ups erhalten, was ich angenommen habe, da ich schon länger überlegt hatte, dort mitzumachen. 6 Monate Laufzeit zum vergünstigten (aber immer noch sehr teuren) Preis.

Der Kontakt ist freundlich und der Service ist gut, damit bin ich zufrieden.
Allerdings habe ich nicht eine einzige Kontaktaufnahme von einem Laden bekommen (mir wurden mind. 9 neue Händleraufträge prophezeit!) und ich habe auf der Plattform insgesamt nur sehr wenige Profilaufrufe. Das liegt definitiv nicht an meinen Produkten, denn diese finden bei meiner selbstständigen Kaltaquise, die ich unabhängig von Fairling vornehme, sehr großen Anklang.

Das Feedback von Fairling zu meinen Produkten, meiner Präsentation und meinen Werbeanzeigen dort ist durchweg positiv gewesen - ein Rätsel, warum es trotzdem keine Resonanz bei den "vielen aktiven Läden" auf dieser Plattform gab...

Ich bin wahnsinnig enttäuscht von Fairling, mir wurde so viel versprochen und es ist rein gar nichts passiert.
Es ist leider einfach nur rausgeschmissenes Geld!

EDIT: Auch in der zweiten Hälfte meiner Mitgliedschaft ist gar nichts passiert. Daran lag es also nicht, liebes Fairling-Team.

Vielen Dank für deine Bewertung! Es tut uns zunächst einmal sehr Leid, dass du mit den (bisherigen) Ergebnissen deiner Marke auf FAIRLING nicht zufrieden bist!

Auch wenn wir bei der Auswahl der Marken auf unserer Plattform sehr kuratiert vorgehen, können wir leider die finale Nachfrage einer Marke nicht direkt beeinflussen. Wir sehen allerdings sehr häufig, das gerade die zweite Hälfte der Mitgliedschaft die fruchtvollere ist. Dies liegt daran, dass die Kaufentscheidungen der Läden (gerade auch in schwierigen Zeiten) sehr strategisch gefällt werden und mehrere Touchpoints entlang eines Anzeigen-Funnels benötigt werden, um vollends zu überzeugen: 1. Awareness, 2. Consideration, 3. Purchase.

Da du gerade erst bei der Hälfte deiner Mitgliedschaftszeit angekommen bist – und deine Marke sowohl vom Design als auch von der Story super zu den Resellern in unserem Netzwerk passt – wollen wir gerne nochmal gemeinsam mit dir über dein Profil und deine Anzeigen schauen, um alles weiter zu optimieren.

Wouldn’t recommend

As others have said, the onboarding process is fantastic but ultimately, Fairling was a waste of money for me. I had a couple of requests for samples but no sales, despite already having a fair number of international stockists from other platforms.

Very happy with Fairling so far...

Fairling provides a very userfriendly platform for business owners. The onboarding process and the customer service are amazing. I am a small business owner and sometimes it happens that I get caught up in my own world of writing about my products, that it is great when somebody reviews an ad for me and gives me tips & tricks and makes me aware of who my actual target group is. Annette Pflug is my contact person at Fairling. She is amazing and so helpful with guiding me along the way. And yes, everyone, who is a business owner knows, that people won´t buy a product after seeing it once in an ad. So, my results are getting better with every advertisment, because I know that it takes work and patience.
