We had our annual gas safety check yesterday and I was delighted once again to enjoy the impeccable skills and exemplary customer service of Paul Shanley (PS01) and the team at Hewer. Following a confirmation call a couple of days before and another from Paul ten minutes before our appointment, he arrived bang on time and it was a real pleasure to see him again, having looked after us so brilliantly last year when we had problems with our boiler. As ever, Paul was the epitome of professionalism and efficiency, performing the inspection with his usual care and thoroughness and engendering my complete trust in a job done right. Thank you Paul, and to the team at Hewer once again, for looking after us so well and providing nothing less than 5 star service. It is always truly appreciated and valued.

Solar hot water system failure
After moving into a new property with a solar hot water system, the display unit started flashing with an error and soon after no hot water was being produced at all. After trying several companies without any luck I rang Hewers, who were able to source an engineer (Greg) the same day. Greg arrived on time and could not have been more helpful whilst with us, explaining how the system worked, why we were producing no hot water and ensuring we had some by the time he left. Highly recommend.

Effective Efficient & Top Service!
Tom Barton was the engineer who came to inspect our boiler and gas and honestly in the 3.5yrs we have lived here, he was able to fix our radiator that was stone cold for almost 2yrs. He was effective, efficient and even welcomed my curiosity on how the boiler looks on the inside and explained a bit about what it is they do when they come for inspection. Top notch service and one of the best we have received. Thanks Tom for being a star! Now we don’t have to worry about freezing through the winter nights. If you get him, you’re in for a top service.
