If there was a negative indices I would use it.
Booked the Leela Inn Kolkata through Agoda 4 days before arrival. There is no obvious indication that this hotel does not accept foreigners. I even received an email welcoming me. Having heard previously that some Indian hotels do not accept foreign visitors I sent messages abd emails to Fab hotels and the Leela asking for confirmation. I did not receive a reply for 3 days. By that time the cancellation time period had expired.
Numerous emails and messages with Agoda and the Leela failed to resolve this issue and a considerable sum of money has been lost to a system that is designed to fail clients. I would propose this sort of service does nothing to support India as a reliable of favourable tourist destination. The utterly useless customer support service is the principle reason for this failure. Now they have my money and won't discuss a refund.
You sully the reputation of India as a reliable destination. Make no mistake about it!

Poor Customer Support & No Accountability


I had a very disappointing experience with both FabHotels and MakeMyTrip.

Despite facing serious issues during my hotel stay, FabHotels is now denying any refund, simply stating that “the stay was completed” and no complaint was raised at the time. This is completely unfair, as poor service does not become acceptable just because the stay was not canceled midway.

What is even more frustrating is their repeated use of copy-paste responses without addressing the actual concerns.

On the other hand, MakeMyTrip asked me to share my details via DM on Twitter. I sent all the required information twice, yet there has been absolutely no response from their side. This clearly reflects a lack of responsibility and poor customer support.

Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise others to be cautious while booking through these platforms, as customer issues are not handled seriously.

This hotel has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. I had booked 2 rooms for 15 night for myself and my son. Absolutely nothing like described on the Agoda website and Agoda did absolutely nothing about the issue. Their idea of resolution was to leave it with the very hotel getting slated for being simply disgusting, and what a surprise when the hotel rejects the patrons claim.
As noisy as it get. Advertising breakfast with the room. Nothing! Filthy sheets and pillows, not one working fridge in either room. Just disgusting l!
If my review saves one person getting totally ripped off and then totally ignored when you complain, then it was worth the effort writing the review.
Agoda’s idea of customer support and complaint resolution is ZERO! Use this agent at your peril!

One of the worst website to book hotels…

One of the worst website to book hotels from. Their employees are fraud as they will ask you to pay in advance and if you as hotel reception number they will share their own number and fool you. They took 25% advance payment from me for hotel booking and showed a very decent room and hotel picture. When I reached to the exact location it was a very cheap guest house. And then it all started, as the guest house owner asked if we stay we need to pay whole stay payment at once... else our advance also is gone...when I tried reaching out to the person who charged or spoke to me he didnt even responded to calls or msg.

They are fraud. Never trust this website.

I booked hotel through them which was worst in hygiene and cleanliness.. I moved out from the hotel..

Once you book through fabhotel you are gone they will not entertain you for any support or service or complaints..

Worst .. please stay way from such scammers

They are the most unprofessional and fraudster Company i have ever seen, They do'nt even pick your call once you made the reservation and even if they pick your call as soon as they find out you are not a new customer and you are already booked or have issues they will immediately put your call on hold. and won't answer ever again. Just pathetic service i will say, pay 100-200 more to a good service provider like airbnb and easymytrip or any other as per your preferences.

FABHOTELS—A Total Breach of Trust. 15 People (Including 5 Children) Abandoned!

I am writing this to warn any group or family considering a booking with FabHotels: DO NOT TRUST THIS CHAIN. Our trip to Hyderabad (Dec 25th–29th) for a group of 15 people (10 adults and 5 children) was completely sabotaged by their incompetence and lack of basic ethics.

1. Negligent from the First Payment
We transferred the booking amount on November 4th, nearly two months in advance. Despite receiving our money, FabHotels provided zero communication. We were forced to repeatedly chase them for a confirmation, which we only received on November 5th. This set the tone for the entire unprofessional experience.

2. The "Ghost Booking" Scandal
In the weeks leading up to our trip, FabHotels changed our Booking ID three separate times. When our group of 15 arrived at the original hotel (BR Classic), the manager informed us they had no record of any booking from FabHotels. We were effectively stranded in a strange city during the peak holiday season with no place to stay.

3. Zero Support:
"Experience Managers" are a Myth
FabHotels assigns an "Experience Manager," but the contact number provided was dead/out of service. Standing in a lobby with five children (aged 10-13), we were completely abandoned. We had to hunt down alternative customer service numbers ourselves just to get a response from a company that had already pocketed our money.

4. Logistical Sabotage & Financial Loss
Instead of honoring our booking, they relocated us to a property 30–40 minutes away.
--> No Transportation Support: Moving 15 people and luggage across the city is a major operation. FabHotels provided no assistance or compensation for the relocation they forced on us.
--> Itinerary Ruined: The remote location doubled our transportation costs and destroyed our sightseeing plans.

5. Financial Exploitation & Filthy Conditions
FabHotels was quick to charge extra money for the 5 children, but provided nothing in return:
--> Hygiene Failure: We stayed for 3 nights and the bedsheets were never changed.
--> Broken Promises: "Complimentary" tea/coffee was non-existent.
--> Faulty Facilities: Basic necessities like geysers did not work in several rooms.

Final Verdict:
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. FabHotels is a masterclass in how to ruin a family holiday. They are disorganized, unreachable in a crisis, and deceptive in their marketing. If you are traveling as a group, book directly with a reputable hotel. Stay far away from FabHotels.

Our confirmed Goa booking was cancelled multiple times on the day of travel due to clear lack of coordination between the platform, coordinators, and hotel owners. Upon arrival, we were informed that no valid booking existed and were shifted to a much lower-category, basic resort despite paying for a premium property. Absolute fraud experience. FabHotels cancelled our confirmed Goa booking multiple times on the travel day itself. No coordination, no accountability, and zero professionalism. Our Goa booking was confirmed and then cancelled multiple times on the day of travel due to poor coordination between the website, coordinators, and hotel owners. We were shifted last minute to a basic resort (La Pablo) despite paying for a much better property. This issue was faced by multiple groups at the same time, not just us. We had booked a hotel in Goa through…

We had booked a hotel in Goa through the FabHotels website; however, our experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. As per our confirmed booking, the hotel owner failed to provide confirmation, and on the very day of our travel, our booking was confirmed and then cancelled multiple times at three different properties. This caused significant inconvenience and mental stress.
Due to these repeated last-minute cancellations, we have completely lost trust in the FabHotels platform. There appears to be a complete lack of coordination between the website, its coordinators, and the hotel owners. Customers are left uncertain and vulnerable, and there is a high possibility that even after reaching the destination, one may be informed that no booking exists.
This issue was not limited to us alone. At the hotel where we were eventually shifted, we encountered at least three other groups who faced identical last-minute cancellations at check-in time. All of us were redirected to La Pablo Resort. While the staff at La Pablo Resort were cooperative, the resort itself was very basic and far inferior to the originally booked property. Despite paying the amount for a better resort, we were provided with a lower-category accommodation, which is unacceptable.
We strongly advise customers to exercise extreme caution while booking hotels through this platform, as there is a serious risk of misrepresentation, inconvenience, and potential financial loss.

Reached the hotel with my family and…

Reached the hotel with my family and were shocked—what was shown in photos was completely different from what was provided. We were left waiting outside with no help, calls kept on hold, emails ignored. This feels like fraud. Don’t fool customers with fake photos and false promises. Still waiting for the refund. This was the worst experiance. They are scammers

We've had a terrible experience with Fab Hotels. We booked a hotel through booking.com , but the call us and said to pay money for the booking confirmation and we bone the payment , but when we arrived, they showed me the bad rooms, full of alcoholic smell. It's shocking that customer care isn't responding, and their policy is no refund of confirmation booking money. Fab hotal is not recommended at all. Hotal staf are very roud.

We've had a terrible experience with Fab Hotels. We booked a hotel through your platform, but when we arrived, there was no booking in our name, and the hotel was fully booked. It's shocking that your customer care isn't responding, and our refund is still pending. Your policy says refunds take 7-8 days, but that's unacceptable given the circumstances. If you're going to make mistakes, please don't deceive customers. Either improve your service or shut down your app. We'll make sure to warn others about this horrible experience. Worst booking ever! And please refund our money as soon as possible.
