Simply amazing. I have no other liveaboard experience to compare to but this was a trip of a lifetime for me. Definitely sold on the liveaboard diving. Great diving and lots of it. The crew was the best catering to all our needs and exceeding expectations. Jono, the chef, has amazing skills in the kitchen and kept us on our toes with menu. The food was so good in fact that it made diving difficult at times because I was so full. Not a bad problem to have. Would I do it again? Definitely. Would I recommend it? Definitely.

We felt safe and cared for by the crew. The food was amazing, the ship was well maintained (esp. considering her age), and our dives were unforgettable.

My experience with the Humboldt Explorer was great! Service & food was good! Staff was also pro-active to help with dive gears.
Dive guides was professional.

One comment to improve would be the dive schedule. It could have been better plan to maximize number of dives.
On day 1, we could have done the practice dive to test out our equipments instead of doing it on day 2. Also, we could have depart for wolf earlier to squeeze in an extra dive on the next day.

Overall, I'll still recommend this dive cruise! Cheers!

The crew in the Tiburon Explorer is amazing. The guides were terrific, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful time.

2 weeks aboard the White Manta liveaboard was fantastic. The crew was very attentive to specific needs of guests. The Divemasters were great showing us many wonderful sites. The meals were varied and wonderful. The group of divers brought by Dive and Travel Adventures/Heather Bloom had a great time! Thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks of diving a beautiful are of the oceans!!!!

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The boat was clean, the food was excellant, and the service was second to none. I can't wait to do it again.

We had a very nice week on board the Humboldt Explorer. Lots of interesting dives with a special crew.

Just returned from St Maarten to St Kitts 2/8/25-2/15/25. Crew was wonderful from Capt. Rodney (incredibly friendly and welcoming) to Pursuer Robyn who looked after our every need. I took a nitrox course from dive master Damian he was a great teacher and a better dive leader. He focused on small aquatic life we as new divers frequently miss. Jonathon who was new to the crew was strong as a dive master giving us the space to expend our dive skills looking over us but also allowing us to roam a bit. The chef was very strong his food was excellent and a special thank you to the chef and crew for a birthday cake, very kind gesture. The boat although old serves its purpose very well. It is an excellent dive platform. It was a bit tippy because of no stabilization but for the cost it is an incredible value for a ton of diving. The sites although limited due to weather where excellent and I did two land tours. Saba and St Kitts both worth the time and cost. . I am a larger middle age male, did top bunk in room 3, slept great. Not a lot of space in room pack lite you won’t need much. This small family owned operation seemed to generally care about there clients and wanted us to have an excellent experience. Thanks I did!

Crew was great very helpful and attentive. Safety was hi on the list. Food was great and fun at mealtime was really nice. Boat getting older and needs a little upgrade. Dives were wonderful including the night dives. Thank you so much for keeping all safe especially from fires.

We just completed our 6th trip to the Caribbean EXP II dive vessel in St Kitts. Jan 25th to Feb 1 2025. Our 2-3 time with Captain Bob M. The captain and crew were exceptional as always. 5 Start meals, it was a pleasure to return and enjoy the various sites Saba & St Kitts have to offer. Too together, this was our 11th trip with the Explorer Venture Company. We will continue to travel with the company as our world permits.

My husband and I went on a photography tour to the Galapagos with Don Mammoser photography, April 2024. At the last minute our scheduled boat was unable to take us. The Tiburon Explorer graciously took our group on their boat. The boat is wonderful. The rooms were clean spacious with nice bathrooms. The common areas were welcoming and large. There was good internet. The captain and crew were helpful and kind. I celebrated a birthday there and the chef made me a special cake. It will always be one of my best memories. The meals and snacks were delicious. Since we were photographers and not divers, the Captain took us snorkeling, he went in the water with us to places where sharks were, which was a fun surprising adventure. The crew made us feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. The crew gently helped while we were loading in and out of the boats to photograph birds on the islands. Everything about the trip was perfect. It even made me want to return to dive for sharks one day.

Good service and willing to work with us to adapt our diving needs.

My dive adventure was from St Kitts to St Martin’s. The diving was challenging due to constant currents. The crew did a fantastic job in finding the best sites for the conditions. Accommodations and food a definite highlight. Crew was super friendly and positive.

boat is nice. rooms are comfortable. dive deck has plenty of room. dedicated camera table and rinse tanks.
But the best part is the crew. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Terrance the engineer kept everything running smoothly. Julian, the chef, was truly remarkable especially with all the varied dietary needs. I gained 4 pounds with all his remarkable dishes. "Jono" the night crew did so much to help prep for the following day and kept all the night-time pirates away. LOL. Robyn, Amber and Binion who crewed the dive deck were fantastic. Getting everyone in and out of the water, guiding spectacular dives and most importantly keeping everyone safe. Cap't Bob was great (I've been on other itineraries with him). The way the crew worked together was incredible. This was truly the best Caribbean live aboard trip I've been on. the entire crew made me feel like family. Thanks to the entire crew for a most memorable experience.

great crew, too many dives in the same place, air conditioning in the cabin not adjustable, too cold.

I was on at least 20 different liveaboards all around the world during the last 20 years. After a liveaboard sunk recently in Egypt where several divers died, I was very astonished about the lack of safety measures. There was no proper security briefing with safety exercise, only a short talk of the captain, the live wests are not stored in the cabins, they are stored in the salon upstairs under the seat. In every other liveaboard I personally know, the live wests are stored in the cabins. Normally the dives at carribean explorer end at the ship. After the last dive we missed the ship, and there was current against us. In the briefing we were told that we could be picked up with the Zodiac. We had to realize, that the zodiac is not well enough equipped to pick up several divers and the crew was obviously not trained for this event. It took very long to pick us up, and the motor of the zodiac is quite weak. I could Imagine some problems in a real emergency situation.
My cabin is described as a queen bed with a second bed above. In fact, this are bunk beds. The head room above the beds is very limited. There is just one single little drawer for storage. I had this cabin for me alone. I couldn‘t imagine how to share this cabin with someone Else. The air condition could‘t be regulated. After the dives I felt freezing cold.

The dives were nice, very good visibility, impressive sponges. The land excursions were well organized and I liked them.
