The "money back" Eva's CEO offered if I removed my review, was promised to me months ago but never provided after multiple follow-ups to him and his team. It was a refund for the fees paid to Eva after they failed to deliver on the high promises made about service levels.

It is striking that the money back then became conditional on me removing my review.

I can't be bothered to repeat everything I wrote in the original review. I think anyone that wants to can read from this what they want about Eva...

STAY AWAY TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT!
A rundown of 3 major issues encountered:
1. I was significantly overcharged for a design work that ran way over their promised delivery duration. Not only was the work not completed within their promised timeline, but also they charged me 4 times the amount they priced me at originally. I was told that even the work is not completed within promised time, they would charge me for $1K for a very simple design work that was completed by another provider within 2 weeks at $50 charge later on. Of course, EVA COMMERCE was overwhelmed and couldn't complete the work for a total of 4 months and one morning I saw a $4K charge on my credit card WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I wrote back to them immediately and tried to get in touch with someone but didn't get any answers to solve the issue, until I disputed the charge. As soon as they found out about the dispute the CEO wrote to me a very diplomatic letter asking the dispute to be canceled and they would credit this amount towards a service. My mistake, I accepted the credit, to avoid months of dispute process. Then I asked for a refund, but they said that they don't do refunds, only do credits for an existing service, which is a complete malpractice. My attorney told me that they have to provide a refund anytime a customer asks for it in these cases. He said that this case is definitely worth filing a consumer complaint report to protect future consumers. Plus for the service that EVA COMMERCE credited the amount, they literally didn't do any work, because they knew that I was leaving within a month.
2. They don't care about small businesses at all. Stay away from these guys especially if you are a small business! They don't provide the service you deserve. They only work for their a few large accounts apparently and totally ignore small businesses until these business start complaining. In my case when I consumed all the hope with these guys and wanted to leave, they contacted to me and said that they would change my brand manager and the team that is managing my stores. They would assign a more experienced team and asked me to stay with them for one more month to see the difference. I asked them why they didn't do this before, as all of my stores were extremely behind timelines and struggling for almost 1 year. They said that they assign experienced teams to larger accounts (accounts that pay them >$10K, >$20K a month). If you can't be a large service buyer, you won't get the service you pay for stay away!!!
3. You will be charged regardless of whether your accounts are active or not, meaning regardless of their contracted service delivery. This is a clear and demonstrable breach of contract. Under these guys' management 2 of my marketplace accounts were not active for MONTHS (each account was inactive for almost a year) I asked them to stop charges until these accounts are active bc no marketing or listing were being made. They said that they are communicating with the help center and the accounts will be active "SOON" every single time and continued charging me for both of the accounts.

A separate note: Their SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK!!!

I CANNOT SAY STRONGLY ENOUGH: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS! PLEASE STAY AWAY (1) TO PROTECT YOUR BUSINESS, (2) TO PRESERVE YOUR CASH, (3) TO KEEP YOUR SANITY!

If you are a small business, go work with boutique providers. They will complete all the work at a promised time and at least twice faster than these guys!
